The site of the Majapahit Kingdom of Gapuro

This new site, which was discovered in Gapuro hamlet, Kemlagi District, Mojokerto Regency, was discovered some time ago during community activities. The location of this site is at the entrance to Gapuro hamlet. Unfortunately, the size and extent of the site is still unknown because it has not been maintained and excavated by the government. Hopefully we will soon receive follow-up from the government, especially the culture department, and increase the richness of our ancestral heritage

History of discovery in Gapuro village, Mojojajar

The new temple was discovered about two years ago. At the location, only the remains of the ancient lightning and the ruined structure of the paduraksa gate remain. The location is far from everywhere, near the factory and the Brantas river. Further excavation is needed so that the shape of the temple is clearly revealed. And it needs a drainage channel so that the temple doesn't sink in the rainy season.
