An extremely poor way of treating customers, turning what should have been a great evening into a nightmare. My wife and I have recently had some good news and wanted to go somewhere special for the occasion. We put aside some money for this reason and started looking for a restaurant. Apdikt seemed like the right place and we made our reservation a week ahead of time. Unfortunately, I fell badly ill on the day of the dinner and had to go to the doctor as an emergency. We called the restaurant to let them know as soon as we could. The person we had on the phone was extremely disagreeable and demonstrated an absolute lack of empathy. I completely understand the inconvenience incurred for all parties (and the preparation time and grocery expenses incurred by the restaurant) and I wouldn’t have argued if they had shown some apprehension and asked us to cover a reasonable cancellation fee. Instead, we were shocked by their reaction: Apdikt basically *blackmailed* us to come otherwise the full cost of the meal would be charged from the credit card we had to provide for the reservation. Maybe even more shocking is that they didn’t seem very sorry or preoccupied either. While this was a huge expense for us and the money loss hurt (a lot), I am just astonished how Apdikt was able to turn what should have been a great evening into such a sorrowful experience. Don’t expect to see me there anytime soon, and I will make sure as many people I know avoid it too. I would advise you instead to try one of the many other good places in Luxembourg (of which there is not lack of) with a more humane and comprehensive policy before wasting your money here. That is, unless you never get ill or are infallible to accidents, of course.

Really nice place to eat in Steinfort. Service was really nice, easy to listen and really interesting about the details. Menu to be discovered in a great idea, matching wine selection was also in line with our expectations. Don't hesitate to ask recommendations from the Sommelier for aperitifs or Digestifs. They promote local products. Highly recommend the place.

If you’re looking for a restaurant for a special occasion: this is it! We spent a wonderful evening at this beautiful restaurant. The staff was super friendly, the food was just exceptional good and the atmosphere was welcoming too. The menu is set, so you just sit down and just enjoy the experience. The menu is set, but it is possible to get a vegetarian option.

The cook is a creative mind with love and passion for his trade. Pays attention to finest details. Mis en place is fantastic - during dinner service most dishes are assembled with a variety of ingredients. And in the background the BIG POT on a 4-day slow-cooking journey that will see its content reduced to a jar of ultra-rich concentrated sauce. By the way: the dishes taste amazing!

Show off (both food and staff). "Accord vins", avoid by any means, the last drink, a cider, is called a "vin de pommes"... Should be a third of the price.

In practice, the restaurant offers a set menu with, if desired, wine pairings. So, given the mode, the service is simpler. The atmosphere of the restaurant is nice, but the place is maybe loud when it is full. I really liked the idea to make my own gin at the beginning. About the food: good quality ingredients, but each dish lacked something to make it complete. In all honesty, I thought better. Not even the wines are up to the mark. Perhaps the restaurant is above average for the level of restaurants in Luxembourg, but far below in relation to the price. If it were not for the fact that three desserts are served at the end (which is exaggerated in my opinion), one would leave hungry.

Always perfect experience in Apdikt. We've been there for 4-5 times before, we have always been very impressed by the quality and creativeness of the food, level of service and professionalism. Apdikt provides you fine dining experience with great food but without being arrogant. We always felt wellcomed and comfortable in Apdikt thanks to the friendly service.
