What an amazing find! We had such a lovely time. We stayed in the Sherlock Holmes suite, but need to come back to stay in the other three! Top notch hospitality, incredible art, and an overall unique experience. We booked literally last minute the night before and were absolutely delighted with this one of a kind stay. We will be back and sending others their way!

Don’t miss this!! If you want a special stay at a special location, you definitely have to book this hotel. From the first view to the very exceptional design and furnishing, Pascal and Mayke did a great job. It is a pleasure to walk through the castle from 1635 with its 4 rooms with different themes. We had a great 4-days stay and enjoyed meeting the few other quests in the joint kitchen and dining room. They gave us a few tips for sightseeing in the area around Luxembourg which was great. The very friendly hosts Mayke and Pascal welcomed us warmly and helped around all questions. Tipp: Carpark for free. A fridge per room in kitchen. Cooking facilities, dishwasher. Famous exhibition "family of man" (MoM NYC) in Clervaux

We were at the Sherlock’s bedroom for 1 night and it was very cool.

Wir haben eine Nacht im Sherlock Zimmer verbracht und durften zwei von drei weiteren Räumen besichtigen, da diese noch nicht von den anderen Gästen bezogen wurden. Das gesamte Castle wurde äußerst liebevoll restauriert. Die Themen der einzelnen Räume sind geschmückt mit sehr vielen Details. Man möchte das Zimmer gar nicht verlassen und alles erkunden. Es gibt außerdem einen Aufenthaltsraum, eine Küche und einen kleinen Garten. Parkplätze waren ausreichend vorhanden. Die Zimmer sind sauber und ruhig. Die Gastgeber Mayke und Pascal, wie auch ihr Mitarbeiter, sind überaus freundlich und erzählen gerne etwas zu dem Gebäude oder sind für einen Plausch zu haben. Vielen Dank, dass wir eure Gäste sein durften. Wir kommen gerne wieder und empfehlen euch weiter!

Wir haben Freunde an diesem aussergewöhnlichen Ort einquartiert. Sie hatten ein Erlebnis für ihr Leben, das sie nicht wieder vergessen werden. Mayke hat sie als Gastgeberin auf sensationelle Weise begrüßt und begleitet. Ihre Herzlichkeit ist außergewöhnlich, so wie auch der Ort. Das Schloss ist einzigartig restauriert und ausgestattet mit den schönen Dingen des Lebens: Antiquitäten, Bücher, Lichtinstallationen und eine Gemeinschaftsküche, die keine Wünsche offen läßt.

Sehr entspannter und ruhiger Wochenendtrip in einem schicken und mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichteten Schlosszimmer. Zu beachten ist nur die Selbstversorgung, die in der hervorragend ausgestatteten Gemeinschaftsküche (Ofen, Herd, Geschirr, Besteck, Spülmaschine etc.) Super möglich ist.

Einfach toll. Voll mit wirklich guten und gut erhaltenen Büchern in verschiedenen Sprachen, von Oscsr Wilde Kurzgeschichten als Miniaturbuch bis "Frankenstein" als graphic novel. Grosser Holztisch zum Essen, aber man kann auch an der Bar in der Küche oder auf der Terrasse essen. Jedes Detail wirkt durchdacht und einfach entspannt und entspannend. Und lauter nette andere Gäste - 4 Zimmer, häufiger Wechsel, und wir haben jeden Abend mit anderen Interessanten Leuten gesprochen. Absolut empfehlenswert!

A hotel full of character and charm, both quirky and imaginative - staying here is a wonderful experience. But the best thing is the incredible customer service from Mayke, who manages the hotel. We had to rearrange our dates at the last minute, and everything was sorted out with the minimum of fuss and the maximum concern for our needs. Clémency is a small, quiet village with a surprisingly large selection of good eating places. It's ideally situated for day trips to Luxembourg City. We stayed three nights, but next time we'll be staying longer to benefit fully from the whole experience. Bear in mind that the castle building is very old, and so there are some minor inconveniences with the plumbing, but these do not detract in the slightest from a fantastic experience. Highly recommended.

Lovely castle to stay in! We booked via Airbnb and the host was very friendly. All of the rooms have their own theme, we stayed in the Tribute room: a beautiful room! However, in the kitchen you should wash the kitchen utensils first before use, because they could be covered in dust..

This is the most spectacular place I ever seen before! The host Mayke is extremely polite, friendly and she made us to feel very comfortable. The whole interior is WOW! I wish, I had a hundred more eyes to see every piece of art which this place have! It is absolutely worth it to see this place. I hope, very soon we will have a chance to visit again for longer!
