Wir hatten als Paar 2 Übernachtungen in einem der "Pilze". Abenteuerlich aber eine sehr schöne Erfahrung. Das Frühstück war einfach aber sehr gut, auch mit regionalen Produkten und reichlich . Wenn an dieser Stelle sich jemand über das Restaurant beschwert, dann kann ich nur sagen, wie man in den Wald ruft so schallt es zurück. Das Essen war "vorzüglich", der Service sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Preise für Luxemburg angemessen. Und wenn im Grenzgebiet zu Belgien keine deutsche Speisekarte angeboten wird... ist Deutsch eine Weltsprache? Muss ich erwarten dass mir überall in Deutschland eine französische Speiserkarte angeboten wird? NEIN. Also was soll eine solche Bewertung? Wir waren auf jeden Fall sehr zufrieden und können das "Péitche Lauer" nur empfehlen.

Really lovely setting, small but well equipped rooms, and food was excellent despite the limitations of room service. The ladder to the bedroom was fine for us, but if you have limited mobility, are scared of heights, or will need to get up in the night then this might not be the place for you!

Very nice hotel. Spacious, clean, modern rooms with view of the river. Comfortable beds. Nice restaurant with very good service, food, wines. Super area for hiking and biking.

The mushrooms are a unique stay and the restaurant is really good too. Breakfast could have been a bit more elaborate.

This is a review for the brasserie. Friendly and courteous service and excellent food - fresh ingredients, everything cooked to perfection, perfect seasoning and flavours, very good presentation - hats off to the chef and his/her team! On top of everything, the place has a nice, family vibe.

We stayed at the hotel and had dinner at the restaurant so will review both separately. Hotel: If you stay in one of the mushrooms, be aware the climb to your bed is quite steep, not suitable for older or young guests. It also gets quite warm up in these rooms, the top window that you can open yourself actually closes when it rains. But a very nice experience for one night. The room in the main building was very standard but very comfy also. Breakfast was excellent, really nice fresh bread. Coffee could be improved to be honest and the croissants didn’t taste very fresh but then again we were not in France (yet). Restaurant: wonderful dinner with great service. Cheerful lady doing everything she could to make us happy. Lovely steak tartare, great burger and an amazing octopus carpaccio (who expects that in Luxemburg!). Wines list is extensive and interesting and has options in all budget classes. I was disappointed though that they charge 5 euro for small bottles of mineral water when they mention explicitly in the rooms that their drinking water is of very high quality. Please make sure you explain that also in the restaurant then…

Ich mag das Hotel und die Lage. Die Brasserie überrascht mit leckeren Gerichten. Als Deutscher ohne Französisch Kenntnisse nicht ganz einfach bei der Speisekarte, dafür spricht das Personal sehr gut Englisch und mit etwas Glück auch Deutsch. Die Zimmer sind neu und groß. Ich kann es nur weiterempfehlen

Wir haben dort sehr seht lecker gespeist. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und kompetent. Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Absolut sauber. Wir werden dort sehr gerne wieder einkehren.
