St. Nicholas Market is a charming and vibrant indoor market located in the heart of Bristol's Old Town. The market is divided into several sections, each with its own unique character. One section of the market is dedicated to arts and crafts, with stalls selling a variety of handmade goods, including jewelry, pottery, and paintings. Another section of the market is home to a large selection of food stalls, offering a wide range of cuisines from around the world. There is also a section of the market with stalls selling books, games, and other miscellaneous items. One of the things that makes St. Nicholas Market so special is its charming atmosphere. The market is housed in a beautiful old building, and the stalls are all individually decorated, giving the market a unique and eclectic feel.

Love this market in Bristol. Lots of quirky little stalls selling clothes, jewellery and delicious food. Met a talented artist who was painting some wonderful modern art landscapes of Bristol. Definitely check it out!

There are a variety of stalls from food to crafty bits n bobs, small cafes and so on! It is a fun place to wander around and explore. There are also free toilets, which is awesome! 🚻 Beautiful building and open pretty well all day, so that is nice. Enjoy!

A very bespoke market area lots of designer stuff verging on hipster, but rising above it! Good second hand bookshop and the little food street/market is exceptionally good, and pleasantly inexpensive.

For those that love their pepper sauces, you most look for the Hot Sauce Emporium outlet in the St. Nicolas Market. I found a large variety of my favourite hot sauce. Thanks to my good friend, Helen, for recommending me to visit this market. I got what I was looking for.

Great market with a variety of different choices. Most are reasonably priced and cheap options if you want some good food. Would highly recommend coming here and trying some different options. Some places are cash only so have some on you just in case so you don't miss out on some great options

We booked an awesome and informative guided tour of Old Bristol and a brilliant time capsule of an air raid shelter that should be a museum in its own right! Duncan, our guide, was fantastic and very well educated on the subject, St Nicholas walking tour and Air Raid shelter

Quite a sad market. Not many shops open. Where it was open only had some clothing and nick nacks. For such a big city definitely expected something more, than that.

Wide range of stalls to taste food from every corner of the world! Enjoyed the ambience very much. Just a tip avoid lunch time if you'd want less waiting time! Other merchant stores seemed a bit deserted though..

I visited towards closing hour so I guess this affected my experience. I would advise visiting during peak times, it was beautiful with various stalls selling special items.

Came a bit late so missed a lot of what I could have seen (most stalls were closing up), but got some great churros and got a look around some fossils and other wares in the exchange market before having to leave. Would definitely love to return for a better look around, and to enjoy more of the available food!

A market full of hand make goods, clothes, tourist souvenir and of course, nice food. There are thousands of people during Sat, attracted by the food from Asia, Mediterranean, Europe,etc.. I assure you can find food you like here and enjoy a nice afternoon.

Spent most of a day wandering around this market, lovely to see such a thriving community. Had lunch at the Moroccan deli which was spot on, authentic mint tea and coffee you could fix a road with 🤗

St Nicholas' Market in Bristol is a lively hub with a fantastic array of independent stalls offering everything from gourmet food to vintage finds. The historic setting adds charm, making it a must-visit for a unique shopping and dining experience in the heart of the city. We had a great evening there and can't wait to go back!

Quirky cool cosy typical market feel. Do visit if you like markets and you are in Bristol. Easily accessible from city centre by walk. Food variety: halal indian and lebanese type foods, English breakfast, tea, cake. Gemstones. Small and can be done in 1-2 hour.

It's always worth a visit to ST Nicholas Market if you are in Bristol city centre. If nothing else there is always something to eat in their food hall. The choice is great and there is always something new to try. If you've got a sweet tooth I'd highly recommend Ah Toots for a massive slice of cake. There is a wide variety of stalls from jewellery, hot sauce, clothing, plants and toys. A great way to support independent retailers.

Being there done that - maybe it's the time of the day/day of the week/month and/or year, the market seemed a bit quiet and missing the vibrancy, but still cool to walk through the maze of stalls for some surprises.

Loads of food, drinks, and many other goods and items for purchase here. It's got a very enjoyable atmosphere and made me feel good walking around here trying-, and even just browsing all the things that can be found here. Very authentical, unique and, unfortunately, more and more rare to find markets like this one in the UK so don't miss your chance to visit it. I can only recommend.

Nice short street with international street food available. I went on a Saturday afternoon for lunch with a baby pram. Must say it was busy and we didn't have anywhere to sit and some of the queues were quite long so didn't fancy joining the queue. In total we bought from 3 different stalls and I must be honest, 2 out of the 3 failed to impress me. It was the churros and the Carribbean place. The rest of the journey we had to stand on the streets to eat. There were some benches at the end but not enough seating for the amount of visitors. Overall good variety of food to have. Caliber of food could be lifted based on my opinion and my experience. Great for small groups. Park opposite you can sit and eat.
