I really like this bridge I like the design and having the shops on both sides across the bridge If you didn't know you wouldn't know you was crossing a bridge. I like how you go in a shop and when you look out the window you see the river passing right below and during the summer the tour boats passing below. A really nice place to visit when visiting bath.

Beautiful place. There is really nice cafe on the bridge where can you have a coffee and a delicious cake and enjoy the view to the river. Park around is great for a walk, so you can see the bridge from different angles.

Lovely bridge shame, its backside hasn't been wiped, so to speak. A little tidying up wouldn't go a miss or cost a lot. I was last here about 35 years ago and the type of shops and cafes hasn't changed much. Being a centre spot attraction should give the owners some pride to be there, but it all seems so tired. The best place was the Thai Weir alongside the bridge which was an oasis in the Bath desert, perfect place to sit and watch the bridge, the boats and the numerous amount of people passing through the seating area who were oblivious to the fact that you could just have a drink and take in this lovely bridge.

Lovely bridge and architecture. There's also a lovely garden situated next to bridge costing Β£2 for entry. You could spend some time relaxing here just people watching etc. Plenty of shops and restaurants nearby.

Iconic bridge in the centre of Bath. Nice to include as part of a circuit along the river.

Pretty cool place to see in Bath. Unusual waterfalls in the river that looks cool lit up. Nice place to come and ponder and look at. Worth a visit to see it.

A splendid time spend at surrounding building. One of the four bridges in the world with shops on both sides. Well preserved architectural with added greenery scenery. Incorporated a man-made cascade water flow generate water fall sound to add excitement feel on usually calm river. A great place for family to spend time together. However the cafe cum plant nursery occupied substantial walking path on the bridge that endanger life, when vehicle approached. Should prohibit from having multiple pots along walking path.

A wonderful walk on the river passing by this bridge. There are many shops and restaurants around. The river has a unique atmosphere every moment of the year, you can spend your time there beautifully as you will see in the photos and canoes. There is parking nearby.

As I was delivering something to Bath I thought I'd have a walk to pulteney Bridge. Yes there is alot of history with in the area and if I had more time I would of found out about all of it. Still a beautiful place to visit. All buildings in Bath are tall but there is probably a good reason why they were built so tall. Just down from where I have taken this photo there is a park area so you can have a picnic or just chill out on a bench or the grass on a nice sunny day.

This is an ancient arch bridge built over river Avon in Bath city. This bridge is unique because of the shops that have been built across its full span on both sides. This is like mini version of the ponte vecchio bridge in Florance, Italy. Bridge has been built in 1774. Its a must visit when you are in bath.

A sight to behold😊 it was so so beautiful and fascinating for me 😍 Myself and my girlfriend went on a sight seeing trip to bath, would recommend this trip for anyone. Bath is a very beautiful city, lots of amazing views. It was very easy to navigate places/locations. Every view was worth it. 😍😍

A must visit place in Bath city. This horseshoe like structure was built in late 1700 to prevent the city from flood. But now it becomes a eye smoothing touristy place. If someone is going in summer, they can opt for a boat ride in this river, though it’s not open in winter season. You can visit both side of the river to enjoy this picturesque place. Highly highly recommended to visit.

This one of the highlights of our Bath trip. It'a definitely a must-see. It boasts a horse-shaped weir over the River Avon. It's history is as beautiful as it looks like. For someone who loves to read about the history and embraces new cultures when visiting new places, it was really satisfyung just looking how the river flows through the weir with birds walking around the top part of the dam. I hope they continue to preserve this place for future generations to see.

An amazing view. I was here a couple of decades ago and this bridge and view of the weir is one of the main things that sticks in my head! I've seen it from the river, from the garden, from the road and bridge itself. It's just beautiful all around. Make sure to come check it out!

This is a historic place I visit every time I come to Bath since 1996. Love the little cafes and shops on the bridge, probably the smallest shops on the bridge in the world with stunning views regardless the seasons.

What a view!! If you walk over the bridge there is a foot path that leads down to the rivers edge, it’s not obvious but it’s on the right hand side leading to a few restaurants, definitely worth the visit.

Beautiful part of Bath with historical significance. It is quite touristy so it can get busy but it's still nice to sit at one of the nearby cafΓ©s and enjoy a coffee and cake. We took an hour boat cruise from the bridge upriver which was a nice relaxing way to spend our afternoon.

Beautiful walk and the views are stunning! There are some boats parked along the canal too. I can only imagine how beautiful it must be in the summer. There are benches so you can sit opposite the river!

This area is a lovely area to stroll into town down by the river or out of town to the canal. The river and as its water cascades over the Weir is mesmerising. The Bridge and the surrounding balustrade is just a work of art. Enjoy all year round.

Lovely atmospheric spot! Def worth visiting. The architecture reminds me of a mini-Ponte Vecchio in Florence!! :) Lots of shops and eateries around, and some fancy hotels like The Empire shown in the photos below.

Really nice bridge and architecture. Makes for a great photo. If you wish to get the best angle you can visit the small garden next to the bridge which is Β£2 per adult to enter.
