Ok hotel for the price, feel like should have been slightly less. Hard to sleep bc it's right next to a highway. They stress that no smoking is allowed in the rooms, you get to the floor you are staying on, and the whole floor smells like cigarettes or weed, though admittedly the room less so. Staff was helpful though

Just stayed at this location. It was clean and fairly priced. The staff was extremely friendly and parking was included with the stay. The AC worked wonderfully. The room was nice and cold. I read the other reviews and can vouch that there is NO FOUL smell anymore. If you are looking for a local spot totally recommend this place.

08/10/2022 First of all.... Upon arrival we noticed the lobby was run down. We proceeded hoping the room would at least be decent. The hallways leading to the room was run down and dirty as well. We had issues getting into our room. The key cards were not work in 2 different rooms. When we finally got a working key card to a different room, we were immediately dissatisfied with the conditions of the room. The rug looks wet, dirty and smelt moldy. The air condition unit also had a strong odor. We knew immediately that we couldn't stay here for another second. We went back to the lobby and ask for a refund. We booked a hotel with La Quinta Inn. It was worth the extra $400 for the quality and piece of mind. The only good thing about Paramount Inn was the lady that assisted us. She was very pleasant. Oh and the photos that were advertised online was false. Images online looks luxurious compared to real life. Never again will I book with Paramount Hotel.

The rooms are small however they definitely work with you if you need a long term hotel however when they get sick of you they will kick you out. No rewards programs or free nights even if you stay 2 months they don't give you any discounts but the rooms are decent be sure to ask for the bigger rooms because they will fill up the smaller suites first. However i did like all the front desk people they are really cool and try to help you out as much as possible!

Rooms were renovated but there was an odor that was super evident when walking into the room. The room was TOO small, barely any space to walk. The bathroom was visibly old and worn out. The entire hotel smelled with a weird odor that continues into the room. The A/C was a real old GE model that makes a TON of noise at night. The room temperature was either too hot or too cold. Super uncomfortable to sleep in. I was sweaty when I woke up. Because of the loudness of the AC, it Felt like I was at the tarmac at JFK. The bed was SUPER uncomfortable, i woke up 3-4 times in the middle of the night trying to adjust & find a comfortable position, pillows are part of that same disaster & sheets also had a not so pleasant odor, as if they didn’t use any fabric deodorizer or something. The hotel lobby area looked as if it was abandoned and the space looked just plain dull and sad. The only positive from this overnight visit was the staff that were super friendly and polite. I would not recommend this hotel unless you are desperate and cannot find anything else.. this was a last minute booking due to having to be near NYC for business. Never going back to that hotel.

Quick and easy checkin, nice room, clean and spacious. Slept nicely, and enjoyed the complimentary breakfast with no charge. Great bathroom, finally good parking availability and checkout was a breeze. Had a nice time, highly recommend.

This place was good for me. The queen bed fit in the room with several inches to spare. You don't have to get out of bed to check traffic. You won't spend a lot on room service.

Great place to stay in NYC on your own if you has no one to stay with, parking, walking distance to banks and shopping and catching the air train to JFK airport. Restaurant and fast food.

Smoke odor filled the 3rd floor, manager did nothing about it. Lots of noise around midnight every one of the 3 nights we stayed. Could not sleep well at all, will never go back. Floral Park motor lodge much better choice.

Do NOT stay here. The phone at reception does not work, the place is filthy. My husband had to leave and come home since our baby was sick, and there was no one at the desk, and we could not call. We ended up having to drive back the next day. The phone still did not work. We were treated rudely, and with incompetence. The general manager, Nasir, was rude, abusive, and misogynistic. Never again. Truly unacceptable, and absurd levels of awful!!

Even tho it’s an inn but the price the day we booked it was not low. So I assumed it’s not gonna be that bad. The elevator smell weed. 2nd floor hall way has a strong scallion smell. The room has strong smell, Lotions are half used. CRAZY! Shower head is filthy I couldn’t even shower that night. It’s non refundable so the best staff could do was switching rooms for us but it didn’t help much! :( BIG BAD INN!
