Amazing customer service! I highly recommend supporting this business. As a first time customer Peggy was very helpful with placing our order. I felt confident our food would exceed our expectations and it did! We ordered the oxtail meal and shrimp doubles. If you’re looking to get a drink I recommend the sorrel drink. Everything was well seasoned and made fresh to order. thank you so much Chef Bs for making us feel so welcomed, we have thoroughly enjoyed our experience.

My first visit was a great experience. You order from outside and wait for the food...understandable during this COVID season...The hostess Peggy was PHENOMENAL. She not only explained the menu but had a wonderful personality. (Give yourself time when you order but the food is EXCEPTIONAL and made with love💗). I ordered oxtail with rice and peas and pumpkin and curry shrimp. Both platters were HEALTHY portions . I also ordered pineapple guava and passion colada beverages which were non-alcoholic and tasty.

I came all the way from Buffalo, NY and stopped in at Chef B's for some authentic Caribbean food. I was greeted wonderfully by Peggy. I had the oxtail rice platter, macaroni pie, callaloo, roti & sweet plantains with a passion fruit and sorrel drink. The food and service was beyond my expectation. I'm definitely coming back!!! They'll give you the best bang for your buck. Everyone make sure you check them out.

Amazing food! The jerk chicken so tender juicy and flavorful! Goat Curry some of the BEST I've ever had! I've eaten goat from all over! Can't recommend enough! So far the best thing I've eaten so far on our trip!

When the main chef comes down & to the front to personally understand your order, this speaks 1000 words. I Googled the best roti near me and Chef B's came up on top. I did what most 1st time patrons do, I went through the posted photos on Chef B's website. Although I'm of caribbean decent, some dishes looked mouth watering but I did not know how to put in the order. I'm so appreciative to the Chef who took time from her busy orders and personally greeted me and picked up right away that I was visiting for the 1st time. She patiently explained the dishes and in no time had my order in the works along with a ice cold fresh Passion Peach drink. Can't wait to indulge this evening. Happy New Patron!

I must say I came across this restaurant strolling around and I must say that I made the right pit stop. I asked for the best dish and thankfully the Pan Seared Snapper was the dish suggested. The fish was made to order and I must say I did not leave any scraps. The taste was exquisite. The seasoning penetrated the fish to the point the sauce was just an added bonus. Do yourself a favor and judge for yourself. Hopefully I’m able to visit again before my vacation ends. Thank you again for the service, hospitality and taste bud party!

Stopped by after the gym after googling food spots around the area. Saw that Chef’s B was highly rated and decided to stop by. Due to COVID you have to place your order either over the phone or online and wait outside for your food. After ordering over the phone I was met by the terrific hostess Peggy at the front door where we chatted a bit as I payed for the food. Peggy was really wonderful and I was even offered a complimentary drink as it was my first time there. I must say as someone who has been eating Caribbean food my entire life, this is definitely a top tier spot. 11/10 recommend and I will definitely be coming back whenever I’m in the area.

Customer service was a 10/10. They are very nice, and helpful. She explains what’s included in your meal very thoroughly. Their oxtail is very tender, it falls off the bone. Very flavorful & well seasoned. I asked for a lot of gravy and that’s exactly what I got! You get a lot for what you pay for. Only thing that could’ve been better was the wait time. I would’ve preferred it to be quicker. However, They were so nice to gift me a drink on the house tho! I’ll be coming back soon!

My first time there and won't be my last. The food was absolutely delicious and freshly made. Customer service was a true breath of fresh air. You can currently only order take out due to the national pandemic but they make the process super easy and safe.

I went here a few days ago, I always pass by and decided to give them a try. I had the jerk chicken with rice and beans my chicken was perfect heat just like I asked. I ordered for my friend stew chicken rice and beans and she loved it. I also got the passion fruit drink and that was amazing! The gentleman that takes our order is the best he made sure everything was right and even went above and beyond packing the food for my friend to make sure she received it at its best quality. Definitely making this my go to place!

This is a nice imitate restaurant in Valley Stream serving Trinidadian style cuisine. Located on the main road of Central Avenue. Their menu has numerous food fare. On this trip I got the Goat Roti and Chicken Roti. Due to covid restrictions they are still not doing in door dine in. All orders are on line. The food was good. The only option I would have chosen was to have extra gravy, which is an additional charge on line The Goat had a touch to much salt, but otherwise it was tasty and good. The chicken was bone in and was done well. I should note that the on line order does ask if you want it low sodium, but without a specific point of reference for first time dinners this may not allow you to judge the salt content for your food. Over all the owner is a very nice pleasant woman. This makes for a good food experience.

Today was the first time I tried Chef B’s. I saw the reviews online and decided to try it. My husband and I placed our order on the phone with Peggy. She was extremely nice and answered our questions without hesitation. We ordered the roti with oxtail, roti with the bone in curry goat, the vegan Mac pie, etc. The food was delicious and we will definitely go back again. The oxtail and curry goat was soft and well seasoned. My husband is Nigerian 🇳🇬 and I’m Dominican 🇩🇴 so it was a blessing to find a restaurant that we both enjoyed. Peggy even gave us complementary drinks (Passion Fruit), as well as bread pudding. Thanks Peggy for making this a great experience for us. The food and service was great and deserves the 5 stars.

We've definitely found a new go-to spot! As a Caribbean American, my family and I often try various Caribbean restaurants around the city, but the service and quality of food at Chef B's just cannot be beat! The woman that I spoke to while ordering on the phone was friendly, organized, and patient while I figured out my order. She went through my entire order to ensure it was correct, and even threw in complementary doubles! Chef B's also gives a complimentary drink, side, or appetizer to new customers! The food itself was absolutely delicious, and generously portioned for a reasonable price! We'll be enjoying our leftovers again tomorrow! Oh! And they had awesome music playing outside of the restaurant 🇬🇾

I'm four months pregnant and the Classic Doubles is the only thing my baby loves ( the only thing I can keep down). The passion juice is excellent and highly recommended. Peggy is a beautiful soul and gives excellent customer service. I absolutely love this place. This is the only restaurant I eat at. The steel pan music is nice to listen to while you wait.
