One of the best meals I’ve eaten. Authentic food, full of flavour. I loved everything about this place. Reasonable pricing, great value for money. Fast & friendly service. Try the eggplant dish it’s delicious!

Went here to order some takeaway meals. An Afghani acquaintance had recommended this place and it was on my way home. The young lady (Tahira) and Ali at the front counter were very cheerful and happy. Their immediate reaction was very friendly and welcoming. This makes such a difference when visiting any restaurant/cafe for the first time. The restaurant was not very full at the time but they didn't rush me to place my order. I ordered the chicken biryani, manto dumplings and the bolani. These are the three items that I order whenever I visit any Afghani restaurant for the first time. If they can't get this right then... There were quite a few customers who came in to pick up their takeaway orders while I was waiting for my order to be prepared. The restaurant is spacious and has larger tables for families and large groups. There is a selection of desserts available as well. The car park area is quite adequate and the restaurant is just off the main road. When I got home and unpacked the food, I was surprised at how well the manto dumplings were packed. That level of packing is something that I haven't EVEN seen in Japan! It was 'zabardast'👍👏 The biryani was good but the manto dumplings and the bolani were far tastier than in some of the other Afghani restaurants. And the portions were large and the prices extremely reasonable. All in all, definitely a place to recommend if you are in the mood for some good Afghani food. Next time I'll have to try the Kabuli biryani... ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This place gets busy and for good reason - once you try the food, you’ll understand! The mixed grill plate is sensational and when it’s served, you’ll think that you won’t be able to get through all of it but I bet you will! How do they make rice that good?!!

My Daughter recommend this homely little restaurant. So today my wife and I popped in and were greeted with a warm smile and ordered bolani that came with 2 lovely dips. We were taken aback to be offered a complimtary green or black pot of tea. The tea was super taiste and we enjoyed multiple cups to the soft music. Soon we had eaten the bolani, which was a warm fresh made flat bread with herbs inside. We then enjoyed the lamb kebab wrap with salad. the whole experience was very pleasant and I recommend if you seek a pleasant, relaxed atmosphere, with good food and service I recommend the Salam Charcoal Kebab House. Fast, friendly and engaged staff. 5 Stars.

Pricing is reasonable and not like other kebab stores that steal your money! Portion is definitely decent and taste is good! I would post photos but I always eat it way too fast before I get a chance. Keep up the good work & reasonable prices!

Everything we ordered was pretty good but the Biriyani was just average. The quantity is really good for the price though. Thanks for having us guys :)

The food is amazing and customer service is great

I will never come back. Stopped visiting before change of ownership due to hatred and resentment of the U.S. expressed by the last owner. Have tried the new ownership a few times over the last 12 months. Tonight was told 15 minutes until my phone order would be ready to pick up. Presented at the counter and was completely ignored because someone of different ethnicity presented after my approach. After they had been served, I was told to wait. My order was then entirely problematic to counter staff who could not work out a correct price. 5 years ago among many orders from there I spent a few hundred on Kebabs for a teenage son's Birthday, and ordered food ad-hoc on many other occasions. Tonight this place treated me like an Infidel in Saudi Arabia, manners count for nothing here. Lost my business forever. Responds with lies. Only began listening after problem raised with bill. Little girl did not ask for box, she asked for bill which the adult paid by tapping cellphone after conversation. Your memory fails you and new management are same as old management.

5*+ rating for food no doubt. Specially their chicken is the best in the town. Only issue need to upgrade is their besin, hand wash facility. Going to toilet to use the besin is a bit.... Apart from that, they serve the most delicious food. Staff behaviour is 5* too.

It was my first time, the food was delis and very filling....the guy who took our order was really nice and even gave me extras as discount, but the atmosphere could be made cleaner though👍

food was great, little slow but got a lamb kebab wrap and it was delicious. i’m not great with spice and it was a bit spicy but the spice made the wrap 10x better. would definitely come here again just for a lunch or something. and when you are sitting waiting the smell of the food smelled so good made me even hungrier. 😋
