I
had
my
30th
here
at
the
Glasshouse
venue.
It
looks
much
better
now
that
it's
renovated.
The
staffs
are
nice
but
could
probably
do
better
with
communication
especially
when
organising
a
big
event.
I
would
email
but
would
not
get
a
response
close
to
a
week
later.
My
birthday
came
around
and
no
communication
was
made
unless
I
physically
sent
multiple
emails
and
calls
to
be
able
to
get
to
the
person
in
charge.
The
night
went
well,
the
staffs
accommodated
us
well
and
was
helpful,
although
we
mentioned
at
the
venue
visits
that
if
there
were
plenty
of
food
left
over,
we
would
pack
them
to
takeaway.
Instead
the
staffs
took
it
back
to
the
kitchen
and
did
not
leave
it
for
the
guests
to
continue
eating
throughout
the
night.
Another
issue
we
had
was
upon
asking
if
we
could
leave
the
backdrop
over
the
weekend
to
pick
up
later
on
(was
told
they
close
Sundays
in
email
and
in
person,
that
was
fine
with
me),
I
also
enquired
regarding
the
Monday
being
a
public
holiday
both
in
an
email
prior
to
the
event
(never
got
a
response)
and
on
the
night
(myself,
partner
and
friend)
doubled
check
to
see
that
they
are
opened,
and
the
event
manager
(organises
the
email)
definitely
said
they
were
opened
so
we
could
come
back
so
we
did
not
bother
to
pack
up
as
I've
had
a
big
day
on
the
night
and
would
like
to
come
back
after
the
weekend
to
pick
up.
Arriving
on
Monday
(as
they
mentioned
they'll
be
opened
for
sure,
checking
in
multiple
times
on
the
night
of
the
event),
to
a
surprise,
they
were
closed.
Emailed
them
to
tell
about
the
situation
and
that
I've
come
to
see
the
venue
closed
and
was
being
charged
a
late
fee
to
my
backdrop
hiring,
there
were
no
apology
and
how
they
can
compensate
their
mistakes.
I
emailed
about
my
frustrations
of
this
issue
and
it
seems
like
they
have
ignored
me
and
not
responded.
The
venue
is
lovely
but
would'nt
recommend
it
if
you
hate
not
having
proper
communication
especially
when
dealing
and
organising
a
large
event.
The
venue
is
under
new
management
but
needs
to
work
on
their
communication
skills
and
even
acknowledging
any
mistakes
they
may
have
made.
