Really nutritious and flavorful! Generous use of colored vegetables and 2 vegan options out of 4. The pickled beet and carrot toasts were extremely flavor packed and delicious. The avocado toast was alright, loaded with flavorful components, but somehow they cancelled each other. Still pretty good, perhaps they could put a little less olive oil. On the pricier side, but it's a unique spot for brunch in the area so it's worth it.

Cute little cafe with a small but focus menu. I had the classic, well-reviewed breakfast sandwich, with both ham and mushrooms in it and mild spicy, it was absolutely DELICIOUS. I think the best part is the picked daikon, not a common ingredient in a breakfast sandwich but definitely makes this one stand out. On the other hand, the sandwich is TINY, hardly bigger than a slider, so value-wise I wouldn't say it's that good.

I had the breakfast sandwich here with both the ham and mushroom and extra spicy. They don’t have indoor dining and the tables outside were both occupied, so we took it to go. Like everyone else mentioned, the sandwich was a bit small for ~$12 post tax and tip, but it was really good. If you’re actually going for a meal, you’d definitely still be hungry. I’m not sure if I’d be a regular but it’s definitely worth trying at least once.

THIS. THIS is the best breakfast sandwich EVER. I've looked and I've tried and I've cooked breakfast sandwiches and no matter where I go, no matter what combination, nothing remotely compares to the breakfast sandwich from b~side foods. I am so lucky to have this restaurant in my neighborhood because it is the best pick-me-up on a slow morning. They operate out of the back of Analog Coffee - you can order their coffee from the same window as b~side (and vice versa) and it makes for a perfect breakfast. Sorry but I haven't tried any other food from here because I'm obsessed with the breakfast sandwich. Both windows are also dog-friendly. Very very limited street parking in this area but if you find a spot, it's 2 hours free. Or you could go to the paid lot next to Starbucks and walk over.

This neighborhood “hole-in-the-wall” eatery is a gem that inspires a happy, friendly, community vibe. Not only are the staff friendly, helpful, and efficient, but the customers are likewise: neighborly, nice, chatty, and happy to be there too. Strong hot coffee, the drip is more espresso-like and it’s a satisfying pick-me-up, while the cold brew packs a rich flavor punch too (highly recommend both beverages with cream & sugar); Quality can be expected because both beverages come from the adjoining coffee bar. The food is equally good; Our brunch consisted of: the Rice Bowl and the Chickpea Salad, both fresh, delicious, and satisfying … Both dishes were well crafted & artfully presented. Next time we will probably order ahead and pick-up; Although we scored one of the 3 patio tables this morning, we might not be as lucky next time. The food is well worth the effort. Food and coffee bar are conveniently located next door to Thomas Market, a neighborhood grocery store that is more than that. But street parking is tight (typical of Capitol Hill) and so walking there is definitely a less complicated way to go - or maybe rent a scooter or e-bike!

Really great Egg Sandwich! b~side foods is located within another business (Analog Coffee). They have a pick up window for to-go. If you want to dine-in, you will have to go through Analog Coffee and order there. --- This place is really popular on Saturday morning, but the line moves fast. We were in line for about less than 10 minutes. There were a few spots left for dine-in as it is a shared space with Analog. --- We got the Egg Sandwich (really great) and the Nutella Brioche (good). The spicy version isn't spicy, but has a nice kick to it. --- There was a restroom inside but it was behind a closed area so I'm not sure if people can use it. You can probably ask to be sure. No dedicated parking, and parking in the streets can be hard to find in Cap Hill. --- Definitely going back just for the Egg Sandwich alone. Highly recommend it if you're in the area.

Had Egg sandwich and veggie toast. Both were delicious and light on my stomach, which I feel is wonderful for a breakfast. Coffee was good from Analog as well. Overall this is definitely going into my list of breakfast places.

currently my favorite seattle breakfast sammy! great if you're on-the-go & need a quick, local, delicious meal! one of my favorite ways to start my day is a quick neighborhood walk (great views of the needle along Bellevue Ave) with the breakfast sammy & a coffee from analog. other great options are the green salad & veggie toast (get the cashew dollop if they have it!)

Small menu that packs a big punch. The rice bowl is so delicious and filling with fermented veg and a soft-boiled egg. I think the breakfast sandwich is the best in the city. I love getting the mushroom and ham combo. And right next door is some of the best coffee in town at Analogue.

    1. Believe the hype. The breakfast sandwich IS probably the best I've ever had. It may be due to how adventurous the ingredient list is. Somehow though it's still a breakfast sandwich. Presentation was beautiful with the egg nicely folded into the sandwich. 2. I thought it said dine in is available but it is not. It's not a huge deal but we don't live on the hill anymore and we drove 20 minutes to check it out. We ate in the car because you're not being fair to the food if you let it sit in the car for 20 minutes before consuming it. That's just me. 3. Ordering was weird. There's a door for b~side but you don't go there. You go around the corner to Analog coffee (then realize there are two different doors but they are actually sharing the same space), order, then go back outside to the b~side door and wait for your order. Some of that might bother some people but whatever, I'm not much of a whiner. Bravo b~side 👏🏼 5 🌟 I look forward to going back and trying some more of the menu.

Got the avocado toast. It was cut in half! So smart. Thank you for the small touches. The egg sandwich was amazing try it spicy 🔥 it's just as amazing (if not better in my opinion) Small space but lots of places to sit. Come alone or with a couple of friends or on a date. It smells wonderful inside and is really cozy. We had a small line out the door but we got in pretty fast and food and coffee even faster. The baristas where super kind and helpful for our decision making on milk 😅 so don't be afraid to ask for oat or soy alternative. We also got coffee and hot coco and a chi. 4 drinks and 5 sandwiches later with tip at about $70ish

All hype! Saturday morning 10:00. Wait to order was about 15 minutes. I had the egg sandwich and 12 oz latte (hot). The sandwich was average, coffee had a good balanced taste but was served too cold. They get 5 star for atmosphere (Cannonball Adderley was playing while I waited for my sandwich).

This is part of analog coffee and they only serve a limited but tasty toasts/breakfast sandwich! The portion size of the egg sandwich was on the “lighter side” (imo it’s a good thing) but the cheese/egg/mushroom patty was pretty delish although a tiny little under seasoned for me (can be easily solved by adding some salt)!

Phenomenal breakfast sandwich - got the egg sandwich with both (mushrooms and ham) and opted for the spicy aioli …. So good. Highly recommend. If you’re just wanting the food and nothing from the drinks side of things at analog, just preorder/prepay online and skip the line. Line was out the door when I got there but it moved decently fast and once I did order my food, it didn’t take too long for it to be ready. When you order at analog, they’ll ask you what you want from behind the espresso machine but they only want your drink order, you order food at the register to the right of that. They also have some goodies from local bakeries. Then you have to go outside and around the corner to the other door to pick up your sandwich. They have it roped off so you can’t cut through inside.
