I have been coming here for years and have generally been very happy with the care I receive here. People are nice and Dr Sargent is a good guy thatI trust with my health. They have a walk-in clinic that’s open seven days a week which is nice and their lab is open five or six days a week with long hours as well . It’s really convenient to be able to do lab work and do you wanna walk in clinic virtually anytime you need. UPDATE: I just came here to the walk in clinic at about 5:15 PM and I got in to be seen in about 5 minutes. It was so fast that I had not finished making my copay. The waiting room and other areas are updated. I have always had a good experience here.

I had my baby with a family doctor at Virginia Mason and it was such an amazing experience. I love the “small town” feel it has. I always worked with the same staff. My doctor was extremely understanding and listened to my needs. I never felt rushed and always had all my questions answered. Their portal is super easy to navigate. The doctors also quickly respond to your questions via the portal. Thank you Virginia Mason Edmonds!

Went to the walk in clinic for an Achilles tendon injury. All 5 staff personnel I dealt with were gracious and very helpful. Would recommend!

Seemingly the only doctor willing to learn about and assist with trans issues is out of town right now, so who knows when I will get my prescription. The wrong medication was written down (gel instead of cream) during my visit with Dr Cotter (who was great otherwise, but leaving town the next day). I messaged them over the weekend about starting the correct medication. Yesterday afternoon they responded asking why I want cream, and said they would have to research it. Not an ideal start (like you wouldn't ask *why* someone wants an IUD instead of an implant, or liquid medication over pill format) but I quickly wrote them back and explained the difference. They hadn't replied yet by this afternoon. I figured they must be pretty busy, so went ahead and did the legwork for them. I sent them a bunch of very official, high quality information about the medication I need. I even found out the dosage I need (which every source I could find agrees on) and included it in my message. They wrote me back almost immediately, letting me know that they aren't covering for my out of town pcp for the rest of the week and saying they "don't know anything" about the medication I need and "have no experience starting testosterone for gender dysphoria". Like, read through the .gov guideline websites I sent and then you *will* know something about it. Help me with this prescription then you *will* have experience with it. Can you imagine how absurd that would sound if you said that about literally anything else? "Sorry, you broke your leg, but I don't have any experience with prescribing the pain medication you requested so I'm going to leave your message for some other doctor to pick up if they can." If you didn't want to help me with this, you should have handed me off to a different doctor from the start, especially since this has been a one-reply-per-day conversation. I'd like to fill out the "have you ever experienced medical discrimination because of your gender" part of the appointment form again, cuz my answer has changed. Edit: clarification

I've been a patient of Virginia Mason for years. They are a good medical network with well trained doctors and support staff. I took off a star for the decline in service since being taken over by Franciscan Health. Everything seems a bit cheaper and a bit rushed since FH entered the picture. Before if I had a complicated problem, providers had time to get to the bottom of it. Not anymore. You have to come back, maybe a few times. Still good though.

I have been waiting months to see a gynecologist @ Edmonds , Left Kirkland at 315 but got lost so I called to apologize and say I'm going to be a little late. I got to the office at 418, and the doctor refused to see me (Tania) I'd like to add I made the appointment because I've had severe pain in my lower pelvic area for months! Thanks Doc! I'm pretty new to Washington and don't know this area and I CALKED

Came here since I was a child. Great doctors back then. Not sure where they get their doctors from today, been mis diagnosed several times. They start writing a prescription before you're even done explaining the symptoms. Retention sucks as well, considering primary care physicians had changed 6 times in 3 months. Virginia mason ruined this doctors office which was once a passionate facility that cared about your health, and obviously no doctors want to stay for a reason.

I have been going there for years now. Every provider that I have worked with has been excellent and helpful. The lab is quick and efficient. The check in staff is on point.

I walked in for a sore throat. I was tested for strep throat and covid. I was given a prescription for a throat numbing medication. I was called and told I was negative for both. But if I came back in they would swab my throat for a culture. So if I want to pay twice I might find out what I have.
