Haven't been here since it was Patty's Egg nest. Wow they turned this place out. My husband and I suggested going here with our family. The food was delicious, kid friendly and the kids actually ate the food which is a big deal for us. Mixed drinks were made well and tasty. There is a full bar, with wine and beer. I'm told they play UFC fights. They have Taco Tuesday and Trivia Wednesday. My husband and I are making it up for that soon. I will post up how it goes. They have live band Saturday. What a great place and running all these activities. It is cool to see and hope it will bring folks out and reconnect. Parking was good, disable parking and accessibility. Not sure on the restroom situation as I never used them. Clean, friendly, fairly priced and great service. I'd say make it out and give them a try.

The bacon wrapped prawns are a must order! Happy hour has great deals, and the cove garlic fries are another unique twist on a classic side!

Had several issues with this dining experience. It starts with cleaning the table with some liquid with very strong bleaching smell where we couldn’t bear it and had to change our tables. Coming to the menu, there is nothing interesting in the cocktail menu and not many options. The seared broccoli appetizer is too bland and it is too plain. Same goes with all the other dishes, nothing is delicious. We ordered pesto chicken panini sandwich, chicken quesadilla, black bean burger and fish and chips along with seared broccoli. They are pretty below average for the high price. Service is fine and fast though.

Overall experience is not great!! I happy with the service provided. But I am not at all happy with food and products they used for cleaning tables!! Initially when they cleaned tables the liquid they used have a strong bleach smell which stayed for so much time!! After that, I spilled water by mistakenly and they helped us cleaning the table with a white cloth!! But the smell of cloth is not at all good!! So that smell added up to the table!! So we changed our table and sat in a different place!! Drinks: Both of the drinks are good!! Food: I liked only broccoli vegetarian dish other than that everything is not good !! We ordered panini chicken, fish and fries, black bean veggie burger, chicken quesadilla: not good!! Fish is almost burnt, and others doesn’t taste good !! My overall experience is ok!! One good thing it’s a late night open restaurant and bar!

I've always loved the Cove but I haven't been in for a while. Went there on a date and the food and drinks were fine with very reasonable wait times. My experience was ruined by the staff. They were very nice and accommodating, however they were so loud it was disturbing. At one point a server left a table kind of skipping and yelled at the top of her lungs to someone behind the bar. She was facing me about 4 feet away so basically just screamed right into my face. There was a server standing on the bar at one point. Another server was dancing all around back and forth to tables yelling to people behind the bar. It was so disturbing. I just wanted to enjoy my meal and my company. Very unprofessional! I won't be back.

Went there last night, took about 20 minutes just to get our drink order and another 30 minutes before we could even order. Felt like everyone else was getting good service and we watched everyone else have a good time and was just longing for that feeling. Had high hopes because it’s rated 4.5 stars but I definitely did not have a 4.5 time. Food was great the restaurant was great but didn’t enjoy the servers cussing in the corner and gossiping and when I needed service. Definitely will not go back

Very sad day at The Cove. They used to have one of the best burgers around, The Cove Burger. Half a pound of awesome meet, 2 dope strips of bacon, cheddar, garlic aioli, lettuce, tomato, and pickles. When I went today, their $17 flag burger was a scrawny thing looking like a jack in the bock drive-thru burger at 2am. The 2 bacon strips? Now it's just 1 cut strip in half, half a pound of beef? Doubtful. No garlic aioli either (had to ask for it to the displeasure of a waitress). Cost cutting? New management? I don't know but sad either way. All that might be forgivable during lean times even for a $17 burger, but when I mentioned my concerns I encountered rudeness, that's what'll make me never come back.

I'm not really a bar person since I don't drink at all. I usually go to be with my bf and friends but it's better then dive bar. My foods usually alright but the staff can be pretty standoffish and rude some times. Last time we went we all had a pretty bad experience.

The overall feeling was dead-end, sadly. Used-car salesman vibe from the server. Food was too expensive for the low quality. Nothing interesting on the beer menu. Most things seemed to have thought put in to all the wrong elements. For example, the burger was overcooked, fries had cheese with long, inedible cheese slices on them. Best things were the descriptions in the menu. Can't recommend.

The food for happy hour was super yummy!! And I was also able to check out a couple of games!

Pictures online made this place look good. Service was nice but slow and distracted with friends at the bar. The food was cheap bar food. Nothing special. Wasn't bad, just not quality. The space is awkward. Would be better for a packed karaoke night or something. But not a great family dining experience. We've had worse.

Loved this place . Love the live music, loved the garlic fries , loved the pitcher , loved the service. The seared garlic brocollini was okay. It was very sweet for our liking . They have a couple of local singers in the venue on friday which was fun . I am sure ill go back here on weekday and experience their trivia/karoake night along with the other food items they have in their menu

Got the happy hour meatballs, scotch egg, chicken skewers, and from the regular menu Brussel sprouts and jalapeno poppers. Food- The meatballs were so tender, with a plate licking marinara sauce, shaved Parmesan on top, and delicious garlic bread. The scotch egg was a delight- absolute perfect cook on the sausage! The brussel sprouts were tasty, a nice sized portion to share, but when they are this good, it's hard to! Jalapeno poppers- be still my heart they are wrapped in bacon and the spicy creamy filling is worth the heartburn. Chicken skewers- I didn't get a chance to try them, but our table was a part of the "Clean Plate Club". The service was on point! We even went through a shift change and it was seamless. Would give 11/10 stars if possible.

Celebrating my husband’s 50th here and wanted to decorate a bit before all the guests showed up. It was too early to do that so i came back later in the day and two hours before the party started just to find out that this AMAZING staff already did all the work for me. Everyone from the waitstaff to the owner Steve are just amazing. Such sweet sweet people. Everyone was so well taken care of and the staff was on it without delay. Love this place. The food is also amazing. Thank you guys ❤️

Such a gem, first time trying this place and not disappointed. Drinks, food and service were on-point. Thank you Wings and tacos (taco Tuesday) were great, companion had the California burger and said it was equally excellent. Definitely a place to check out.

Liked the atmosphere despite the slightly obnoxious cover band, unfortunately the singer was rude and arrogant when I tried to ask if they take requests. My drink was very good though! Would come back on a day when a good band is performing.

We had a buddy's 60th birthday party at The Cove, and the staff was amazing. Great food and drinks. Plus, you can watch sports on their TVs. Would definitely go there again and soon.

I've eaten here and liked the food and service. I tried to get a table right before a live show was setting up and opted to leave because it was too busy. Not a bad thing, so will come back to check out live show earlier next time.

Outside deck is the place to be. Our server Andrew was engaging, friendly and helpful. The Share Platter has the perfect selection of appetizers. Drinks are very well made. And yes Andrew, you were right, the calamari was good.

Pretty cool place to stop by, couldn't have asked for a better server, from conversations to him saving his bartenders butt left and right because she was more interested in hanging on her man's arm, on the customer side of the bar then making quality drinks. Had to switch it up to beer.

It was ok but man… the servers were idk, void of personality? Sorry but, it was a depressing visit. I was excited to know there was a place within walking distance that I could grab a drink and do some work at but I probably won’t be back again. Good tots at least.

We got there 8 min before HH was done. Our server brought our drinks in 2 min and our food came out in 7 min. Nachos and wings were really good. We ordered garlic fries also but didnt enoy those as much. Lots of tv screens with sport Would go back again. Server was really nice.

Fun drinks and bar food. The trivia and karaoke nights are the main reasons I go. The staff are always nice, and they're great at keeping things clean!

This place was terrible. Lots of good reviews so gave it a try. Ordered a specific drink and it was made with a cheaper version of the alcohol so already shoddy. Food was blah. The wings looked liked they were in steroids and the cheesecake was kinda smashed. The fries were good though. I was ripped off another way on the check by being overcharged. Anyways, looked at the reviews when I made it home and some were fake. This was a weeks ago though. I just won't go back.

Today is my first taste of a new style. It's not cheap, but it's not expensive either. Prawns with bacon are a really good dish. Personal recommendation is to order food according to their own preferences. If it's something like French fries, it all tastes the same.

We had fun here. The garlic fries were great. The wings were well seasoned on their own, the side buffalo sauce was ok. Loved the roasted brussel sprouts, maybe a touch more Balsamic to make it perfect! Usually, Scotch eggs are really heavy, but the light sauces and mustard seed really balanced it out! They had Manny's on tap so I was happy. The only downside, my wife got a margarita on the rocks and it had a plastic aftertaste like the mix had been stored for too long. But, we mentioned it to our server and he immediately went to clean out the storage containers. All in all, a good experience.

Got the Kim Jong-Un cheese steak. Half the meat in here is like chewing bubble gum. Super grisly. The fries are really dry and have an overwhelming burnt flavor. I do not recommend this particular meal. On a positive note, the staff here are always super professional and courteous! 👌🏻

Came here for Thursday dinner. The service was extremely friendly and fast. The perfect kind where they are friendly and helpful but not in your face all of the time. The burgers we got were good, the garlic fries were amazing. This will definitely be a new spot we frequent for the chill atmosphere, good food, and friendly service.

Been several times and the food is always very good. My scotch egg this time was a bit over cooked though. I also really like the BBQ Ranch Chicken Salad.

We had date night here last Saturday 6-20-20 and can I just say WOW..... The service was AMAZING, the drinks were PERFECT and the food was just DELICIOUS... TONY and CALEB were great.... They answered all our questions and recommended! 100% would recommend getting the Scottish 🥚 simply amazing!! We will be back for sure.

They were rude and told us we could not order drinks at the bar but yet the very next customer was helped at the same counter we were turned away from. I will never return because the employees made the people in my party feel unwelcome.

I do not normally write reviews, but when you receive amazing customer service that goes above and beyond, then I think it is your duty to leave a compliment. First off, due to Covid my original wedding was canceled. We had to change it up last minute and plan a wedding in three weeks. The Cove came through!! I called to get a quote for catering and on the second ring the head chef picked up. He explained the menu to me and what they do etc. He told me that I could expect a call from the owner in 15 or so minutes. The owner called in 5. The response time was amazing, and I know they were extremely busy. Fast forward to the wedding... EVERYBODY liked the food. Not just liked, but they came to me and asked where we ordered catering. I've been to a lot of weddings, and very rarely is the food any good. The Cove delivered on time, picked up on time, did everything they said they would do. Sometimes it's more than food, I could feel the culture of this place and it was absolutely inspiring. I will be visiting this restaurant every time I am in Long Beach, and will recommend it to every person who I hear will be visiting Long Beach.

Stopped in for dinner on Sunday evening and the place was about half full. The music was loud enough you didn't have to hear everyone but not too loud that you couldn't hear the person next to you. The food was not phenomenal but still very good and the portion size is about right for the price. The best thing here had to be the service. Our waiter seemed to have a sixth sense to know when to be there and when not to.

Best place I've ever experienced not just because of the great food and drinks but also the staff is so friendly and do so much more than any other place I've been to please check this place out you won't be disappointed Caleb is also the best bartender/server I’ve ever met he makes sure that you are satisfied and happy too the whole time and he is a sweetheart! We come here almost every weekend sometimes twice it’s a lot of fun and the tacos and the pulled pork nachos and the fish and chicken are to die for! Can’t wait to go back tonight!
