I’ve ordered delivery from here twice and their rice bowls are insane. I got the koji tofu bowl both times and it is definitely going to be on repeat when I need something fast and delicious. Everything in this bowl is delicious, but the sauces are what make it stand out. The flavors are bold and go together so well. The cauliflower is my favorite part 😋 Just because there’s so much flavor and sauce, I could do a bit more rice. The amount of food is perfect though. Not an overwhelming portion but very satiating. Koku Cafe really hit the jackpot here — they’ve created a dish I know I can’t replicate at home and now need to have in my life. With fair prices, I’ll be a repeat customer as long as I’m in the area!

A wonderful weird breakfast! Edamame mash sandwich with avocado and a matcha IPA give me the green light for a great day! 😁

Go here now! This cafe has a unique menu. I'd expect to find this food in a sit-down restaurant. They have Japanese grilled cheese, bowls, and delicious Japanese desserts. The tofu bowl is creamy and herby. Their desserts are perfect, I'd recommend all of them. I wish the grilled cheese had more onions in it.

Sitting and eating at this place makes my heart full. I had been searching for a healthy food bowl cafe around Seattle for a while and had not been able to find one that I enjoy. Then I saw this cafe today. I ordered the Japanese cheesecake, a tofu bowl, and an iced matcha. I loved every item. Having lunch here and knowing this little cafe is here brightened my day indefinitely. Thank you!

The mirin soaked chicken bowl had a layer of creamy pesto on top, pickled radish, cucumbers, carrots and a good amount of rice. Good combination of flavours and it was a very healthy bowl. Not sure if this satisfied my cravings, but it was decent. The service was great and they have a bunch of interesting selections of drinks like Mela.

I’ve been procrastinating for months and finally ordered lunch from Koku Cafe. I ordered the Ginger Koji Tofu bowl which was delicious. Super fresh and very filling. My partner ordered the Gochujang Brewed Pork and loved his dish as well. Great customer service and excellent food. Stop by and have lunch!

Extraordinary food from someone who clearly cares. Every dish I've had at Koku has been incredible. The balance of flavors, textures, and color is carefully thought out. Plating for breakfast is often overlooked or overdone and neither is the case here. Koku is an underrated gem of Upper Queen Anne. With seats outside, you can see people waiting ages for a poorer breakfast experience. Their coffee is excellent as well, though I usually get a matcha breve. The only problem they have is visibility. I pointed it out to some people across the street and they thought I was pointing to the bank. Pictured are an Osaka Omelette and a Gochujang Brewed Pork bowl. I have found that I prefer to skip the bonita flakes.

This place is such a gem. Their traditional deli options are just okay but the real winner is the curry which reminds me of being in Japan. It's also vegetarian so if you don't feel like the meat fest that is Nanas Green Tea this is a great alternative. Make sure you check our their unique pastries that are delivered every Thursday!

This place is such a gem and conveniently located in Seattle's Queen Anne neighborhood. I ordered the Gochujang Brewed Pork and Ginger Koji Tofu along with their matcha latte. I couldn't believe how tasty and filling a bowl was so I had blessed leftovers for the next day.

Great place for some Japanese style rice bowls. Came here for lunch while visiting the nearby Kerry park. Although it doesn’t have a tons of seating, we were able to find a table outside pretty easily. They don’t have too many options for rice bowl but they ones we chose were very delicious. We picked one pork and one chicken. The quantity was a bit on the smaller side but taste was definitely made up for it. They also offer Japanese style cheese cake which looked great but we didn’t end up getting it. We will have to come back 😉

Overall, it's okay. The ambiance is very chill, customer service was great. The food is what you would expect from a healthy food place. A little bland, but well presented and appears to be made with fresh ingredients. Price is okay.

I was looking for a quick snack before heading to Kerry Park and came across this cafe. The gentleman behind the counter recommended this edamame mash avocado toast for a small snack and it was perfect! The flavors were outstanding, and the texture from the toast + fried shallots were satisfying. For the drink, I went with a ginger peach tea of some sorts. It had a strong sour punch to it when you first take a sip, might have been the ginger. I highly recommend giving it a try, especially if you like ginger, peach and tea 🍑

I have been to this place on multiple occasions and it has been great every time. The Osaka Omelette and Kokumi melt sandwich is amazing. The red espresso latte is worth trying. The staff is very courteous and the place is perfect to have a weekend brunch.

We had the Mirin Soaked chicken bowl and the Midori grilled cheese sandwich. The sandwich was very good. Super delicious. The bowl was just about good.
