Very sketchy. Old carpet, linens on the bed and curtains. The room wreaked of cigarettes. I would not stay there.

Staff were very professional. Check-in was quick. Hotel was quiet. Couldn’t have been better.

Clean, very little parking space

A good place to hang your hat and get some rest. The rooms are a bit on the minimal side, but, the extended stay rooms have a full kitchen and the rate is pretty good. The owners are pretty friendly too.

I have stayed at golden West many many many times over the years. It's my go to place. The owners are extremely welcoming and friendly. I lived there for awhile as a kid with my family. I'll never have anything bad to say about that motel besides I love it there.

I've never had a problem with this place, it's old and a little ghetto but for the price you can't complain really, anytime I use a cheaper motel the 1st thing I do is bleach everything, so I can be comfortable.

Good location. They've been around forever. Always willing to accommodate me and that's so amazing because sometimes motels can be really tricky with all their rules/regulations , outrageous deposits and whatnot. Anyways, love this place. Yes it is a little run down as far as the rooms go, but nothing terrible just a bit old as far as furniture goes. Still definitely livable and clean.

This motel has its ups and downs. The pro's: ..the rooms are normal size. You get 1- queen bed(hard as f#%$), a desk, a tv and 2 shelves for clothes and 2 night stands and there is still plenty of room to walk around and not be squished. Then you also get s tiny closet for hanging some clothes and a good size bathroom and thr bonus is you also get a whole kitchen including a table refrigerator and stove. Bring your own pots pans and dishes tho. Sobits basically a mini apartment for the cheapest price of any other motel around from what ive found. And you cant beat the location, right off highway 99 and about a half mile from I 5. All the restaurants you can think of around ya here too. The cons...they are very VERY old. Need updated/r#emodeled bad. They dont do a very good job cleaning them so that makes it even worse. They making get room service even if you dont want it and get woke up by the cleaning lady everyday at 11. We work nights so this is very annoying when we are trying to sleep. And the owners are not the friendliest people out there either. But They are nit the worst either.

It’s very inexpensive, one of the cheapest on 99 up north in Edmonds. The woman working the front desk is actually very pleasant n nice n so is the housekeeping staff. U just have to remember: u get what u pay for so I wouldn’t let my expectations get out of control, Yanno?

Pretty chill place but the rooms are not the most clean / nice . There's NO microwave and the bathroom is really tiny. The place isn't too well kept but if you want somewhere to stay for a short time , and you haven't got much money, this is your spot. It works and it is definitely a get what you pay for type of situation. Don't go in expecting something like the Best Western. Overall not bad but also not the best.

They have rooms with a full kitchen... Stove oven microwave sink cupboards fridge freezer.... The whole 9 yards.

This motel is actually one of my top five most favorite motels within the entire Snohomish county area. The staff members here are all extremely nice, super friendly, courteous and very understanding as well as easy to work with. I'd probably recommend this motel overall others first. Their rates are also extremely great also.

In the beginning the owners/manager where very friendly and accommodating, but after a few days the owner decided we needed to leave for no reason. Came to our door and told us we had an hour to leave. They had just kicked the people in the room next to ours out and I am assuming they associated us with them. Also lots of shady activity goes on there. People trying to break in to cars and walking around with backpacks. If you stay here make sure your valuables are very secure.

I stay here when I exhibit at the Edmonds Art Fair in June each year. It's very clean, not too noisy despite being near a busy a highway, and extremely convenient. I left my pillow there one year, and they were very helpful about getting it back to me. It's modestly priced...

Besides being out dated and in need of remodel, the service is pretty good. It has been really quiet! One would think that a cheap place like this would bring in bad things.

Never a bad experience you pay for what you get and as long as you're respectful and to yourself there is no issues here. Could use an update sheets and blankets wise....... but other than that i chose to stay here alot

It's Koo for the price and the way it looks out side it's kinda in the trap well trap of Edmonds
