I spent a couple of weeks in this place while working in Lyon. Very cosy and comfortable. I very much preferred this over a bland and boring hotel room. Nice view of the garden. The owner is eager to ensure that you spend a good time. He lives next door and is available for any questions that you may have.

Among all the B&Bs I have stayed in France, this is clearly one of my favorites. The host Lionel is very welcoming without being overwhelming and is fluent in French and English. The standalone accommodation is very clean, tastefully decorated, and extremely well equipped with every amenity one can wish for. The area is quiet without being unduly far from the city center, and parking on the street is both free and easy. Breakfast is healthy and tasty, with a personal touch to tailor it to the guests' preferences. All together, this made for a perfect stay.

Fantastic hosts, great location. Felt like staying at friends. The atelier is furnished with lots of taste. Having breakfast in the garden made the whole day laid back and easy. The advise on what to visit, given by Lionel, were great. This is the place I would choose again.

A quelques minutes à pieds une rue commerçante avec tout ce qu’il faut pour pouvoir très bien manger soit à l’extérieur ou à l’intérieur, je pense même en été comme en hiver.😃 le gros plus qui n’a pas de prix à Lyon le stationnement juste devant la maison et les transports en commun à proximité. De plus Lionel est un hôte vraiment sympathique, merci. A très bientôt.

En déplacement 2 jours à Lyon pour une formation, j'ai séjourné dans la chambre d'hôte de Lionel, appelée "l'atelier". Le logement est confortable, très bien équipé, et joliment décoré. Le petit déjeuner est très copieux et de qualité. Le calme du quartier est appréciable, et le stationnement facile et gratuit dans la rue est un vrai plus. Lionel et sa famille sont très accueillants et disponibles. Une excellente adresse que je recommande, et où je reviendrai avec plaisir pour mes prochaines dates de formation !

Very nice host. Helpful in good English. Recommended good restaurants. We slept in Atelier. Very clean with good kitchen. Only remark is not suitable for old people or those who don’t walk well as you sleep in a low cieling place and you have to do 2 little stairs to reach toilet. For us it was ok but you should be aware of this. There is also a studio to rent. 10 minutes walk to metro so easy to reach everything in Lyon which is a very nice city. Breakfast was very good with fresh croissant, bread, fruit and juice. There is an expresso machine in the kitchen. You have everything you need in a very quiet place. We loved it!

Tout était parfait!!! Superbe! We chose Lionel’s B&B for its privacy and proximity to public transport. We couldn’t have made a better choice. We stayed in the studio which has been so beautifully renovated. The bed was extremely comfortable and the linen luxurious - always a huge plus!! Breakfast was perfect and delivered every morning at the time arranged. We had our own kitchen, perfectly equipped, and we cooked and ate in on one of the 3 nights we were there. Lionel was incredibly helpful and has thought of absolutely everything to make your stay one to remember. We highly recommend ‘Lyonest’ and hope very much that one day we’ll be back!
