Loved praying in the Basilica, a historical building with high ceiling, 2 bells on the sides of the façade. The golden statue of St. Mary is at the top of a pillar to the back right side of the façade. A statue of Jean Paul II is in front of the church, heading towards St. Mary who he loves. On the side of the church there is a space where you can have a very nice view of Lyon down the hill.

Very beautiful site, you can also visit the others sites near to this place. You can also reach the cathédrale by walking or by stairs or even by train. Envoyé

The area beside the church is the perfect place to look the city from above. A great view of old town with Shaone and Rhone.

Basilique superbe. Pour bien comprendre cette basilique le mieux est de faire une visite guidée. Tous les ans, en décembre et janvier, une crèche réunit les personnages de la sainteté lyonnaise: les martyrs de 177, les laics et religieux des 19ème et 20ème siècles. Ces hommes et femmes ont, au nom du Christ, fait oeuvre de charité.
