The view from the room was fantastic! I still can’t erase those memories. Service is bad, however I got used to it more or less during the covid - everyone is stressed.. Another upside - There is a great mall (not crowded) just 100 meters from the Hotel. Recommended.

The Good— The view and comfortable seating. Not So Good — The coffee and the wine. Verdict — Other than the view, strong WiFi, and comfortable seating, there is not much to speak of when it comes to this establishment. The prices for everything are very high. That being said, the level of service you would expect is absent. I ordered a glass of wine, and at the price point, I have become accustomed to the server offering a taste and serving me at my table. It is not the case here. They pour the wine at the bar and simply bring it to you. I expect this from a lesser establishment, but from this location, it was a bit of surprise. The service was acceptable. Friendly and welcoming, but nothing high-level. Nomad Index — WiFi ✅ Power ☕️ ☕️ ☕️ Tables ☕️☕️ ☕️

The best: the view of the restaurant. It is confy but it is only worth it to sit besides the windows so you can see the view of the city and maybe the sunset. Perfect for a date. The drinks were not amazing at all but it was ok anyway. With the cocktails they gave us some nuts to eat.

Service was pretty slow. It took them 30+ mins to serve us 2 mocktails. It has a nice view but I don't think it's a must in Lyon. I wouldn't recommend going. It is expensive too.

Overly expensive, TERRIBLE service. We waited for 20 min for someone to come to our table, when I asked someone passing for help, I was told they were only table runners but they would get someone to come serve us. Another 30 min later, nobody. We had to stand up and leave. The views are okay, but the narrow windows don’t help. Not recommended.

Expensive experience but worth it, nice view, good food and perfect service, our waiter Joseph was absolutely great and careful. We got to try chef's starters, we had a nice birthday message (made a reservation and precised it was for a birthday of course). Thank you!

Seated promptly at a table in the bar area because we wanted drinks and a little something to eat. The two stars. Eventually received our first drink order but that was it. No bread. No water. The waiter never returned. Never even looked at us. I got up and went to the bar and told the waiter we would like to order food. Everyone around us was getting service. After 15 minutes and the waiter still not returning, I went back up to the bar and asked to pay the bill. We left the hotel to eat.

They are thiefs. I went a few months ago. Now they have charged me again €17 in the bank account (I know because I check my account). They are not responsible for returning it to me. I have been waiting for more than a week. They say that this money was a dataphone company problem. But that is Celest Bar problem, not mine. Get my money back

It has been renovated & turns out to be more modern. However, it has lost its "coziness" as some seatings are positioned differently. It used to have a great night view from the inside; it still does but no longer as breathtaking as it used to be. There used to be live music entertainment on one weekday with jazzy melodies of a singer & a piano. Rumor has it that they'll bring that back but in the meantime, one will just have to contemplate without it. Fortunately, their cocktails are just as good. Don't hesitate to ask for your favorite cocktail even if it's not listed in the menu 😉

We had a wonderful time at the Celest Bar & Restaurant. Thank you to Said, Francesco, Emile and all the team for a really kind and warm welcome. Thank you for the amazing food we had in a beautiful inside, modern and cozy. If you step by Lyon, you should definitely go try this place. It will worth it !

C'était le paradis? peut-être, peut-être pas, mais ça y ressemblait. C'était délicieux! After a difficult day working in a country I so greatly respect but woefully am not a great speaker in, I needed something comforting. I ordered wine and the roasted vegetables with ham and arugula. It was heaven and Geraldine, my amazing and patient server let me try to order in French and helped to pick delicious wines. Thank you to Geraldine for making my day a bit more delicious and a bit more welcoming. Merci Beaucoup!

👍 Nice experience in this new restaurant. Gentle staff, there is a nice feeling. I recommend the salads which are super tasty and creative. Could not experience the fresh juice as the restaurant seems to have some teething problems but I will come back in a few weeks to try more.
