We had a grear experience. The beers were very good and the staff amazing.

I'm often there, and the Barman Paul is the best, and the Guinness is lovely.

Visiting this pub was the highlight of my trip to Lyon! Such a great staff and I’m so happy to have found this gem. p.s. I’m not Irish

Such a cool Irish pub, really felt like I was back in a proper pub, the atmosphere was great and cosy, with a nice service and enough space for everybody at the time we went which was lucky cause I'm sure it's very popular!

I walked past this pub a week earlier. Today, I walked 30minute to get there and all fior a pint of Guiness. The young lady, who spoke excellent English was very friendly and poured the perfect Guinness. After some small talk, I discovered her sister lives only 20minutes from where I used to live in Montrose at the foothills of the Mt Dandenongs Australia. It's a small world. Unfortunately, I did not ask her name, nonetheless, it was a great experience and I thoroughly enjoyed the beer, chat and opportunity to escape the outside activity and heat. Thankyou

As a person who lives 6 months in Ireland, if you want to taste the best Guinness in Lyon if not France you should visit this pub. Very well made, beautiful pub and extremely friendly stuff. I will definitely visit again if I'll come to Lyon! 🌻

If you enjoy a real pint of Guinness pulled by a guy (Liam..the owner)who worked for Guinness then definitely go here. It's a nice snug pub right in the heart of the old town.

Not an Irish theme pub - it’s a an Irish pub. Very good Guinness and good atmosphere. These kind of pubs just seem to fit in so well in French cities, part French part Irish FYI Irish pubs are traditionally small with wooden furniture Pubs don’t always serve food - they are not restaurants.

We were passing this bar when it started to rain so went in to have fish and chips for lunch. Fish and chips and croque monsieur the only food options. Very cheap and okay quality. Friendly and pleasant service and decor old and charming.

Genuine Irish pub vibes, great service by very professional staff, great music selection and most importantly, a great pint of plain is served here. Totally recommended.

A Joy(ce) Pub Members of my French Family love this place.. and so in for a penny-in for a pound.. we went there this afternoon. Its so so strange to see an Irish Pub in Old Town Lyon.. in fact ANYWHERE on Lyon. Great (and funny) staff. My Family all ordered Guinness .. being too heavy for me - I ordered Mangers Cider. After a couple rounds.. a little snack was in order.. two lots of Fish and Chips. The Chips were really good but the fish (where did it come from - the freezer ?) tasted a tad bland. Almost as if a 'fish bake (multiple varieties blended together. But - it soon got ate and plates 'locked clean' (not quite.. but not a morsel left.. lol_ Sat outside for another round... refreshing a hot day, dry day (32c).... just learnt this place is open until the early hours (2-3am). (Apologies for extreme lateness of review, I thought i had already posted)

A typical Guinness in a typical tourist bar in a tourist part of town that made our day. Friendly bartender, and a crisp pint.

100% authentic Irish bar! Friendly and chatty staff. Pint was decent..... not amazing but certainly worth a try.

Place with style, good drinks and... no food. Crisps ain't food. I totally understand places that focus on drinks, but man, there are so many beer snacks available. Why no serve? Don't get me wrong, I'd definitely go back, but not hungry. (Unless something changes)

This is by far the coolest Irish Pub I've been to. The Barkeeper was animated and entertaining. He is authentic Irish, and loves to tell a story, either in English or French. Seating is limited, and regulars come in and enjoy the wonderful beer he serves. There are also a large variety of Whiskeys, mostly Irish. If you like Guinness, you shouldn't go anywhere else.

Without doubt, the best Guinness I've ever tasted. Big selection of Irish & european beers.The lunchtime fish & chips are as good as it gets. Great place, great staff, great food & beers. An absolute must for everyone visiting Lyon.

One of the best people-watching spots in Vieux Lyon if you can get one of the extremely limited patio seats. The beer selection is good. The barkeep speaks better French and English than I do and they make a solid Croque Monsieur.

The first time I visited I had of the best pints of Guinness I have ever had in Lyon however on the second time it wasn't as amazing as the first! Need to try it again to take an average. Cute bar, nice and cozy.

Alex was the most accommodating and made sure our night featuring two Mexicans, a Swiss and Australian was truly memorable. A fantastic night at a great bar.
