One of the best views of all Lyon. Great atmosphere, amazing cocktails, top service. The bartender was super friendly and professional. I will definitely go again. One of the highlights of my experiences in Lyon.

The Good— The view. The service is simply unparalleled. Live music on the weekends. Reminiscent of the luxury lounges found in NYC. Not So Good — Pricey. Some might find the beverage card to be limited. You could experience long wait times. Verdict — If you’re looking for a comfortable lounge to take in the views of the Rhône with the illuminated Université Lumière, and Le Crayon (Tour Part-Dieu) in the near distance, Le Melhor is a must. Not only is the view over the Rhone quite special but the level of service provided by Ludo and his team of Thomas, William & Orphee is fantastic! They do everything to make your stay in the bar something quite magical! Well done to you all! Oh,, and the cocktails are delicious!

Great cocktail bar with a lovely view and skilled barmen. A little expensive but the cocktails are worth it!

Lovely view of the river, I highly recommend to get there earlier at around 8pm so you can get the best seats facing the view!

I’m not quite sure of the vibe they’re trying to go for in here. At first it gives off the appearance of a classic club lounge of sorts but when you look at it further it does seem a bit tacky, there is a horrendous club singer singing live over what I can only describe as a karaoke machine. The layout strikes as odd as there are three chairs to each table even with most of the clientele being couples, the problem this creates is there are loads of actual seats but no where to sit - why not move some? The service is okay but I feel that they should move people to maximise the people that can be allowed in, there was one guy spread over 3 seats by the window and people being turned away at the door as there wasn’t anywhere to sit. The cocktails are quite good as is the view which was one of the reasons for coming.
