🫤 Dissapointment. The staff was good though, attentive and open. Food was lacking basic seasoning!! Not everything was that bad but one would expect much more for the given price. Music from the mainstream radio didn't really fit into a hundred-year old theme with packed tables so closely one to anoth... People often mention restaurant,

Traditional Lyonnaise food is served, in nicely decorated rooms. I liked the food very much - had a degustation menu with 3 courses. A bit expensive, but I do not regret the money. The waitress could have been more pleasant; but she was obviously very busy.

Dissapointment. The staff was good though, attentive and open. Food was lacking basic seasoning!! Not everything was that bad but one would expect much more for the given price. Music from the mainstream radio didn't really fit into a hundred-year old theme with packed tables so closely one to another that when guests wanted to sit down a weiter had to pull a table out of the row so the guests could get access to the other side of it! Terrible, don't waste your time and money and find a different place.

BEST traditionnel Lyonnais cuisine in the world. The menu offers a variety of classic dishes from Lyon. Everything we ordered was exquisite. The Gratin, and the chicken were the best I’ve ever had. The crème brûlée was also very special. Service was slow but friendly. They were clearly short staffed during lunchtime. Everything was served hot out of the kitchen though. Unfortunately, we were only in Lyon for one night, but I will make it a point to return here!!

Very traditional “bouchon lyonnais” certified. The wine was a little expensive and ravioles not that well cooked but the restaurant is nice and the principal meal was really good. Excellent service !

We visited Lyon for a business trip with a coworker and were recommended this street for some excellent dinners. We wanted to try some more local French style food after visiting the meat restaurant owned by the same family across the street. We chose the menu "Menu D'Emilie" for 30.90€ / person, and we were a bit dissapointed in what we got. I chose for my set: Starter: "Gnafron" - Chitterlings veal sausage's and cabbage's cake with Garlic Sauce Main: "Bavette d'aloyau de beuf á la pointe dáil, pailasson de pommes de terre" - Flank steak with some potato mash Dessert: Crème Brûlée For the wine we chose a 25ish euro bottle of Côtes du Rhône, Les Abeilles de Colombo Rouge from 2021. The starter was quite bland without any garlic to be noticed. Luckily the bread was the same as the restaurant across the streat from the day before, i.e. to die for, I could then at least enjoy the sauce even if the cake was pretty much not worth mentioning. For the main course I took a flank steak, and since sauces are something the French usually do well, I expected that the garlic butter would be rather tasty. It was not, and again the flavour was just not there. The steak was well cooked though, so overall not a bad choice. For the dessert I took a traditional Crème Brûlée, which was burned from the top and cold in the middle. Overall, I would maybe not recommend this one, rather the restaurant from the same family accross the street.

Nice ambiete and delicious dishes. I had the lunch menue and it was sooo much. I arrived a little late for lunch time, but they still gave me a seat and let me eat without any preassure. I got this restaurant recommended by a local and totally understand why!

A very traditional Bouchon Lyonnais well worth the visit! Absolutely charming atmosphere and great service. Food was amazing! A bit pricey but worth it, we had snails and salad Lyonnais, then bavette steak and Lambs brains plus desserts all magnificent! Will return

Food was fine. Service was decent through the meal. But apparently I was to assume you had to pay at the bar even though I expressly asked for the bill. Was told « well it’s how the French do it » since I am obviously not French I am not sure how I should know this. Ended up sitting outside for 15 minutes before other diners took pity on me. This restaurant was recommended in a guide book. Will not go back.

The waiters are rude, i didnt like the service, they need to be more kind. But the food is really good and the decoration is awesome.

👍 Nice experience in this new restaurant. Gentle staff, there is a nice feeling. I recommend the salads which are super tasty and creative. Could not experience the fresh juice as the restaurant seems to have some teething problems but I will come back in a few weeks to try more.

👍👍 I think this was one of the most beautiful restrooms I’ve ever been to. Of course, I ordered one of their juices to go.
