It’s not open like it says. They stop serving food at certain times and it is not announced.

Arrived in the afternoon to have a drink, the place was very quiet. In French, I explicitly asked the waitress for Kronenberg. The friend I was with heard that loud and clear, and she's French. What I got was Grimbergen, and when I commented on this while paying up at the counter, I found out it was obvious - they'd run out of Kronenberg. Silly me, guess I should have known. Let me excuse myself, seeing no one else did.

Great place to revive flagging energy after climbing to the top of la Croix Rousse. Very friendly staff, who kindly served us the refreshments we needed, even in their rush to provide full lunches to other guests. Next time we will plan to go for lunch!

Good for a casual lunch with views over the city from croix rousse. Friendly environment but busy - either reserve or take a chance on a table being available. Good bar style seating outside, too.

Not the best experience to be honest. We just arrived in Lyon after a long car trip and we craving for some bites and drinks. After 15 minutes of waiting we finally made our order, there was almost nobody on the terrace and some employees were just sitting at a table. Apparently the kitchen was closed for us… but food was still served. After 1 drink we left.

Very nice view from this cafe's terrace. Although a bit pricey, you can still enjoy the calmness of the area, while tasting one of the delicious cakes on the menu. + + the view + + tasty cakes + outside terrace - - prices

We had dinner at this Café twice last week. Once during the week and once in the weekend. Reservation is recommended. Service was friendly and fast and the food was great. I love the location and the view. If i return to Lyon I will definitely visit again. Its such a nice place to relax after a busy day in the city.

If you like waiting for 15 minutes without being served and then a waiter approaching you - still not serving you but asking you to move to another table so he can rearrange some tables for some other guests who are apparently more important than you are - then this is your place. The location is great though.
