Rooms are functional and relatively comfortable. Surprising amount of noise from outside at night for such a modern building. Restaurant isn't great, mice running around the dining area (staff say that's normal) and the sea bream (dorade) looked and tasted suspiciously like cheaper cod. Won't return here again.

Overall quality of the chambers is good, very friendly staff. On the other hand, during our time at the bar in the evening we saw several mice running in the bar and in the breakfast area, on the ground as well as on the counters where the next morning breakfast was served 🤢 already visited this hotel several times and this problem is already ongoing for several months. The hotel says that they are taking action but no results can be seen…

At the reservation, I aimed to book a twin room (a room has two beds "separately") - I think it is safe to say this is the globally understood definition of a twin room. However, the beds are completely put together at this hotel, and it's called "Chamble Classique - 2 lits simples". I find the description could easily be misleading. All the staff was welcoming, and access to the parking was convenient.

Such a modern hotel ! Located in a great area ! Huge shopping center with everything you may need: boutiques, restaurants, playroom for the kids. The River is near and it’s very enjoyable to walk by the riverside to get to the city center.

We just took some drinks on the terrace of this hotel. A relaxing place, enjoying the warm winter sun. Very friendly and service oriented staff.

Superb modern Novotel with spacious rooms and a handy location directly connected to the shopping mall and food court of the Confluence. Generous and good value parking on site, good breakfast choices and comfortable beds. The location necessitates a €7 Uber or Tram into the heart of the city.

Quite far from the Lyon Port Due so had to take a train. Beautiful location near water and shopping. You can wak around and enjoy town activities. First time we got a dirty room so kind receptionist gave us another room on the high floor facing water so thank you. Room was basic Novotel with bathrobes, slippers and free drinks and a little refrigerator. Good coffee. This was much appreciated. The checkin desk looked very informal like designed for gen Z. Hard to tell if it was check in. Very unwelcoming. It was a business trip but we couldn’t sit in the restaurant for coffee and talk so am a little disappointed as we had to go out to meet.

We had rooms 441 and 443 with the family rate. That was great cost-wise and it was very practical because those were communicating rooms. Each room had beds for 2 persons (twin or double) and a extra sofa-bed for one. The rooms had plenty of space, toiletries by Rituals (no conditioner), a kettle and a mini-fridge. It is very convenient that the hotel os on top of a large shopping center with a large Carrefour supermarket. Staff was very helpful and courteous at all times.

The location is excellent right next to nice modern shopping center with lots of stores and restaurants to choose from. The T1 and T2 trams leave from in front or the mall. The breakfast buffet is somewhat limited. Not as good as that we have had at other Novotel hotels or even Ibis hotels. No toaster for bread. Stop serving at 9:30 am

Clean, trendy, super location with direct access to shopping center, cinema, arcade, restaurants, etc It is very recommended without any doubt. For the record this is my favourite hotel in Lyon and I stayed here more than 15 times.

Always a pleasure to stay there as it meets a lot of criteria . However , it has been the second stay where we had issue with the housekeeping experience . I really hope this will be adjusted as this hotel is very convenient . Also a note to the cleaning team to adjust the liquid used for cleaning the floor as it is very sticky in the common areas specially next to the toilets .

The room was comfortable but the airco did not work well. It was not possible to lower the temperature. The management that this was due to eco measures. In that case do not sell an airconditioned room! Because of the heat I was sweating in bed. Under the thin sheet there was an extra Tyvec layer which prevented absorbing moist. I understand that the hotel do not want wet mattresses, but could have provided with a proper sheet. Bad service.

This is a very badly managed hotel . I booked a suite - but it was noisy. So sleep was difficult- machinery , air - con and very loud constant hum . Housekeeping non- existent. I left cups and plates outside my door - they weren’t collected for two days . I had to ring the desk to make up the room . The staff were dour and unhelpful.

We would like to thank you to all the staffs at the Novotel Confluence for taking care us. We was got flight cancelled from Qatar Airways and all the staffs here was so nice. Front Desk was provided explanations and so on to us. Especially Thanks to GourmentBar staffs who take care us with the seat and food. We are recommending here to be destinations while you travel to Lyon. Good location and amazing food. Really appreciate!

Friendly, clean, a bit worn out. My shower wasn't working entirely. Bed was very comfortable and food in the restaurant excellent.

Everything in the hotel need to pay extra: body lotion, toothpaste, slippers etc. You need to get up very early to get breakfast, it ends up like 9h30. The parking is 10€per day is convenient, close to the shopping mall is nice as well.

Location next to confluence museum is very good if you want to visit it. It is at some distance from the center so for visiting Lyon it is not very handy. The building is rather old, the windows don't close very well. We waited a long time to check in despite three desks and four people attending them and hardly any tourist present in the lobby. They all had something better to do than check us in.

One of the top 5 best hotel breakfasts. Great selection, great quality and great view from the terrace! A good size room. The only point of criticism would be the air conditioning. the whole hotel is a bit stuffy. So that the air seems to be a bit stagnate, but it was ok. But we could take our dog everywhere. I'd definitely choose this hotel again.

Disappointing for a new 4-star facility. Kettle, hair dryer was not working. Cold creeps in through the window on a windy day. It was also the hotel with the strangest entrance I have ever seen in my life. It takes time to figure out who will greet you when you enter.

Visited for a night. Very basic and dated rooms. The bathroom has a glass wall and there is no privacy. Bear that in mind if you are staying with someone and don’t want them to see you fully naked.

Overall very poor experience. The staff isn’t helpful at all. Each time you speak to them, feels like they just don’t want to help. We reached mid night with my daughter yet Nicholas was just very rude. Despite, Paris Novotel calling them beforehand and informing them with special recommendations.

The view of the hotel is great and the staff here are very nice and helpful. The room is very disappointing: toilet room is very smelly, safety box is not working, cup is dirty and I saw a toy left on the floor. It’s not the level of 4 stars of clean quality.

Great location and ample parking and nice rooms with good food. It should be perfect 5 stars if the receptionist were more friendly, bad atmosphere during check in.

Nice hotel next to the RhĂ´ne. Nice rooms with great showers. Only minus is that you cannot open your window at the streetside in the weekend because of loud music and visitors of nearby clubs

One of the best hotel I have experienced ever! Very friendly stuff, Large room, cheap parking (10€ per night). Highlight is the direct connection to the shopping mall. We will stay here for the next time definitely!

Hotel is OK, nothing more. Stuff is good and fast, but bed linen are awful(you sweat very quickly - really bad quality) Why 5 stars so? Because of: 1.Location 2.Facilities 3. Amenities 4. Parking price 5. Stuff rapidity
