AVOID THIS HOTEL!!! This is by far one of the worst hotels I have ever seen in Europe! Unprofessional and rude/unfriendly personal. The service desk was most of the times closed! Cleaning the room was not included!!!! So you have to pay extra for it! On the third day we even had to ask for clean towels and toiletpaper. Dirty and very old beds, sheets, towels, etc. Very poor ventilation. Price for a room €100 per day (during Fete des Lumiere)!!! Late checkout €12. DISGUSTING!

The room was relatively clean but there were only one towel and 2 toilet paper rolls for a 2 weeks accommodation. When I asked for another towel after 1 week the guy said me "yes of course, 5 euros!", as I though that 5 euros is almost enough to BUY one shower towel I asked to change the right for a room cleaning (that they said that would occur 2 days before I leave) for the towel, he said that I could do that but they had no towels for the moment, only after the weekend. I said "there is a room full of towels!!" and he answered "Yes, for the new rooms, the new clients for this weekend", I can assure that there were hundreds of towels... After, I just asked "but the room is for 2 people and I have just one towel" and I got a stupid poker face and "yes, you booked just for 1 person so it's correct!". And after all there was no room cleaning and no towel for a 2 weeks accommodation. The "low cost" has limits especially in good manners.

I can't say much about this hotel!. nothing was cleaned! The bathroom was really ugly, a few places were even moldy. The cleaning lady didn't give us fresh towels, she just said oke and walked away. The chip cards rarely worked, or NOT AT ALL

Bilder vom Hotel sind alle "Fake". Sieht aus als hätte dort ein Obdachloser gelebt. Alles war dreckig und es lag gebrauchtes Besteck unter dem Bett. Das Badezimmer roch nach verwesung und sah auch nicht besser aus. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr nett sonst ist das Hotel nicht brauchbar.

Dreckiges & ungepflegtes Hotel in passabler Lage mit halbwegs freundlichem Personal Der Empfang verlief zu später Stunde sehr freundlich (in Englisch) und flott. Das war es aber dann mit den guten Seiten des Hotels... Dunkle muffige Gänge begrüßten uns nach der Fahrt mit dem Aufzug. Das Zimmer, eine unangenehme Überraschung. Die Fotos auf den Buchungsportalen entsprachen überhaupt nicht der Realität. Die Balkontüren waren bei unser Ankuft (spätabends) geöffnet (zum last-minute Lüften?) und das Zimmer bei 5 Grad Außentemperatur entsprechend Eiskalt. Der Teppich fleckig, Staubreste in den Ecken eine Spinne an der Wand. Das recht geräumige Bad präsentierte ekligen Staub im Lüfter und auf der Badezimmerlampe, in den Ecken der Duschwanne Schimmelansätze... Hätten wir nicht bereits schon im voraus bezahlt gehabt, wären wir sofort wieder abgereist! Am nächsten morgen zeigte sich der Moosbewachsene Balkon und weitere Flecken an den Wänden und Vorhängen. Zudem überkam einen das ungute Gefühl beobachtet zu werden... Die Tiefgarage ist eng, sehr sehr schlecht beleuchtet und bietet durch die vielen dunklen Passagen Möglichkeiten für unschöne Momente.

Great staff & good stay. I was warmly welcomed by two of their receptionnists: Yasmina & Mohamed. They were all smiles & very knowledgeable in suggesting on places to head to around Lyon & what to do during my most recent stay The room's were clean. The breakfast food was well done & best of all the hotel's located not too far from public transport & various restaurants.

Terrible experience... Walked in, guys at the reception were ok, asked for a room, 250€ deposit, warned them to reimburse it please as I leave next day, sometimes it takes up to a week, if you pass by let's say 7 hotels blockages add up to a 1000+€ Went in, super dark place, got to my room, its got a terrific cigarettes stink... Really hot day +34° and humid outside... And... IT DOES NOT HAVE AC!!! for a +70€ room with no Air conditioning. Straight up, went down asked for a refund, "they did" but it's some days over and still get a hold on my card for +320€ for that magnificent experience... Luckily went to the other side of the city, same price, Axotel Lyon... It's a no brainer... Go there... 100% better experience. I am sure to not step into one again, although need to say came in after trying Toulouse one and it was quite good overall...

Very basic hotel, not like the photos. One towel for two people. Has a kitchenette bur still had to ask for a kettle. Have to go down to reception for anything because there isn't a phone. Terrible breakfast selection and had to pre-book our time because there is such a small amount of seating. Useless location.

8 euros for a bad breakfast. No clim. Small bed small room. Loud street. No card just keys and will not give you 2 sets of keys. But the workerd are great here.

Not very good choice. It's not very well maintenanced and should be better cleaned.

The staff was amazing, friendly and responsive. The cleaning can be improved. The 2nd day there were weird stains on the carpet in the corridor near my door, probably due to 2 very loud dogs staying on the same floor. I didn't know pet were permitted. Overall everything else was good, my room was freezing and I had a cold, I spoke to Augustin who was super helpful and taught me how to switch on the heathers, on the human side you have a lovely staff also the cleaners were friendly, despite the fact I don't speak french, tried to understand me. Thank you. I will recommend this place to friends or re-consider it for the future.

The only positive thing I can say about this accommodation is that the staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. But everything else was bad. The cooking facilities did not work, so we had to go to restaurants for every Meal, which made it a far more expensive stay than we had planned for. The room was not clean, there were unwashed dishes in the Cupboard, and only one towel supplied for two people staying for four days. I could not recommend this apartment to anyone and would not return.

I am very happy with my stay in Garibaldy Appartcity. This is the second time I have stayed there and I have always been well received by the small but kind and effective team. The rooms are basic but perfectly clean and confortable. I slept really well and tried the breakfast this morning, that was basic but very good quality. I recommend this establishment and will return next time I am in Lyon.
