I am pretty upset with this place. At the very beginning when we got there we were treated poorly by the “responsible” person. We order and everything was going nice. After getting the food, we were eating and when I touched the second slice of bread for my surprise a cockroach came from under it. We were so disgusted and we called the waitress, she took out my food and said she would bring another one. Of course, I didn’t want as everyone at the table lost apetite. We decided to leave and the responsible guy wanted us to pay for the rest of the food but not the tartine. He barely said he was sorry, it didn’t seem to care to be honest. We said we wouldn’t play as everything came from the same kitchen and my friends barely ate, especially after seen a cockroach walking around. So, we had a big discussion about sanity as he started to mumble in French with the waitress. She was the only one actually taking our side. He said the cockroach probably came from under the table, not the kitchen, but tbh, does it matter? They clearly have a sanity issue as they are walking around. At the end, we said, we could pay for the coffee since it was not coming from the kitchen. He was not happy as he thought apparently that it was our problem and not theirs.

This restaurant is the perfect example of "looks can be deceiving". It looks small and unassuming and this would lead to a few people overlooking it. But don't make that mistake because the food that was served here is in a league of its own. The presentation was exceptional and the taste was fantastic. Although, they took their time to serve the food, I would say that the served dishes were worth the wait. I loved my time here. This is definitely going to go to the top of the best restaurants I have ever visited so far. A sure shot recommendation from my side.

The cafe had a nice crowd and a very chill atmosphere. Service was good and the food portions were delicious.

Nice spot for Cafe and breakfast in Lyon. Open early. Pancakes were fantastic. Came here twice during our stay. Very fair prices.

Ordered a mochachino, salted caramel macchiato and cheesecake and they all were gooood! The café opens early and closes late. Serves crepes and some other good stuff that i have to come back and try!👍🏽

Nice place for a coffee and a dessert! During rush time it is difficult to find a table without reservation. I recommend the pancakes with chocolate and the natural cheesecake!

Lovely cafe located on a small place. Very cosy inside. Amazing food, beautifully arranged. The "white cheese" with caramelized nuts and fresh berries is just perfect. Went here three times in just a week. Nice employees as well. Can only recommend!

The service was really nice. But ordered a pain au chocolat they gave me other things I didn't ask (sort of mix of croissants, didn't exactly what I asked for). The coffee wasn't that good. The bar and the atmosphere was very nice though!

Went for light breakfast (a la carte) with my friend on a Thursday. My french is not great but the two servers were nice about it and switched to English. We loved the fresh orange juice, the best we've had in a while, and I was impressed by the coffee quality. The pancakes were served with a variety of fresh fruit on top, and the little basket assortment of pastries was the perfect amount for slow morning breakfast bites with coffee. Nice!

the food is miserable in taste, and it appears that the only specialty in here is whipped cream (because it’s added everywhere), the price is obviously too high for such a bad coffee which doesn’t meet the description at all (first i thought it’s just bad milk, but i’ve been second time, and the coffee was still pretty bad) the really good things here are the barista who does all works alone, and handles this very well plus, the appearance and atmosphere is really cozy, and of course the location itself

Good simple brunch spot. We had scrambled eggs and bacon which were tasty. Plus a fresh squeezed orange juice. Also had a basket of little pastries which were tasty. Service can be slow, but just flag down a waiter and they’ll immediately help you. Would go again! We got there around opening so getting a table was easy but the place filled quickly! Nice location and great patio for sitting outside.

This was a lovely cafe and a great way to start my morning. I loved the warm atmosphere and the pancakes were amazing! Fluffy and the perfect amount of food. The star of my meal was the fresh squeezed orange juice. Oh my God I wish I could have it 4-5 times a day. It was so refreshing! The staff was very kind and patient. Overall a wonderful experience for last morning in Lyon. 😊

Lovely coffee, lovely service and a lovely place to people watch

This cafe has very good coffee and delicious food! We had pancakes and they were absolutely perfect. Service was very friendly and warm. Definitely recommend :)

Just short of 24euro for two coffees and two breakfasts - got pancakes and an avocado and egg on toast about $9euro each and coffees about 4euro each. Cute setting in a road junction, shaded with umbrellas, outdoor and indoor seating. The cafe owner speaks English fine and the menu is in English and French. Good way to start the day if you want a simple, smallish brekky before getting into patisserie and goodies for mid morning or second breakfast :)

Came for a weekday lunch. Great salmon salad but very slow service. Took almost 30 mins to get our lunch.

This has to be my favourite cafè in Lyon! The staff are always friendly and helpful and can speak in English too which is lovely. They even put up with my terrible attempt at French when I came to see them. The pancakes are the best and are a great breakfast treat. Thanks team!

The cafe opened early but doesn't serve food until 9. So all we can do is ordered the grand creme cafe which is latte really.

I wanted to give this place a second chance after my first visit resulted in being ignored for 20 mins and leaving. This time I waited 30 mins for a cappuccino and 40 mins for pancakes. The food was good, sure, but this establishment obviously doesn't have enough employees to cover the number of tables they decided to have. They pocket the money and leave customers to suffer consequences.

Mediocre coffee. Got a flat white, which wasn’t great. The scrambled eggs were pretty good, fluffy and buttery. Good price for the quantity of food, but nothing extraordinary. The service could also be improved. Waited at my table for several mins and made eye contact with the waiters almost 5 times before they came over to take my order (maybe partially my fault for not flagging them down, but saw another waiter tell the other to go over to take my order but she never did…)

This place definitely was an experience. I don’t like to leave bad reviews, as I have worked in the hospitality industry for years myself however I was genuinely shocked and disappointed. My friends were already eating when I arrived at the table, and had mentioned the service had been extremely slow and they were out of stock on items. I sat down and had a look through the menu and waited for about 10 minutes for a member of staff to take an order. I got up and spoke to who I assumed to be managing, and asked where I could order, to which he asked for my table and I sat down again, then told a member of staff to see me. It took about 15 minutes before a friendly staff member walked by clearing tables and had realised I’d still not ordered, and so she took my order from me. The drink and food arrived fairly quickly fortunately, and the crepe wasn’t too bad. When we tried to pay, the member of staff split the bill incorrectly and when we requested a refund so we could pay the correct amounts for what we had actually consumed, he gave us the bill and told us to work it out ourselves, with a very blunt goodbye. I will say at least the place was visually nice. It had a cosy feel. But overall, I wasn’t overly impressed.
