Cockatail / Jazz rooftop bar hidden in beautiful Hotel Dieu in Bellecour. When you get there, go inside Hotel Dieu, look for the Intercontinental Hotel and then just across is the entrance of L’Officine. Once a month on Fridays they host a “Jazz Apero” so we came to enjoy! Dimmed lights and an exciting cocktail menu! We tried the “Peach Please”, “Montenegroni” (with a beautiful logo stamped ice cube) and finally a Royal Monkey (this one won!). Prices were around 15€. The jazz was beautiful! And we went out to enjoy the terrace for a while (they have warm covers so you don’t freeze in the cold season). The only remarks I would make is that we wanted to tried a Mezcal cocktail in the menu, but there was no mezcal that night. The appetizers menu didn’t look crazy so we ended up not ordering. And one of our glasses had the border quite chipped, something that in this kind of place you would not expect. It finally a fancy place to enjoy a night out with friends or couple.

A super b place you must to visit. Fine drinking, cozy and lux atmosphere and the most important, professional and high attentive staff, the people behind and front of the bar are amazing! A big shout for all of them, from the manager to the waiters. Thank you for the incredible evening L’ officine team.

Nice and comfortable bar in the increasingly popular Grand Hôtel-Dieu. Overall the bar is nice and comfortable. A few minor things that needed to be corrected on opening day that were surprising. Since, things have improved. Found the drink menu to be pretty standard and basic however, you are able to ask the bar to make you something off menu. The vibe is difficult to figure out, feeling less like a posh lounge and more like a hotel bar. Not sure what they’re aiming for but I’m sure the identity will develop over time. Although, subsequent visits will occur, finding something that is a unique draw to this location has proven difficult.

This bar amazed me. Very chill and uhh nique vibe, inside they show old movies ok the fall while bartender was listening to my specific requests for the drink. Nikos, he did a great job! I loved my drinks and will come back with family and friends. It's a place to be

Stopped by after an evening program at the hotel. It’s up some sterile stairs, and they market it as a cool, speakeasy-ish cocktail bar. Nice seating, and wait staff was nice. I sat at the bar, and got a menu. It took about 15 mins for someone to ask me what I wanted to drink. There was only bartender making complicated sugar-rimmed cocktails- not sure if they were understaffed but he seemed angry-clanking stuff around. The waitstaff was very nice. They didn’t pick up on cues, such as me putting on my coat, I went out to the actual terrace to take photos and a waiter ran after me as if I was going to take off on the bill that they didn’t ask me if I wanted. Btw, they only 1 or 2 white wines, I ordered the mediocre Champagne by the glass, the stemware was good but it wasn’t properly chilled. The best thing about this place was the water, which I had to refill myself. Btw, I got there early not sure how the one bartender managed with a full bar.

Jade, Quentin. Nicos and Adrian are fabulous bartenders - creating perfect cocktails inspired by their own creativity and style. The ambiance is very chic and classy! The team is very friendly and welcoming!

When we visited the bar, they had their Jazz event, the Apéro Jazz. The atmosphere was amazing with great vibes. This time we sat at the bar and tasted their Autumn’s signature cocktails as well as their selection of classic cocktails. Everything we had was delicious and unique and the presentations were outstanding. One of the highlights of the night were our bartenders- Thomas, Yazan, Julien and the entire team. They were excellent behind the bar, attentive and also lots of fun. The cocktail making process was amazing and we loved how Thomas explained us the characteristics of each cocktail and how the flavor changed with time. Thomas also prepared us cocktails personalized to our preferences and taste. They were excellent! When in Lyon, this is the place to go!
