Beautiful
trees,
great
technique,
but
expensive
and
very
bad
advice.
A
bonsai
that
ended
up
dying.
When
you
buy
quality,
you
hope
to
have
quality
sellers
and
that
was
not
the
case.
The
story
if
you
are
interested
or
if
you
are
the
seller:
My
partner
gave
me
a
Chinese
elm
last
March
for
my
birthday
and
it
did
quite
well.
He
had
redone
his
foliage
but
nothing
unusual.
It
was
then
in
a
classic
substrate
which
retained
humidity
quite
well.
It
had
to
be
repotted
a
month
later.
I
also
found
it
a
shame
to
pay
€20
for
repotting
when
the
bonsai
had
just
been
purchased.
The
old
substrate
which
was
very
suitable
was
replaced
by
akadama,
the
effectiveness
of
which
I
do
not
contradict,
but
which
I
would
have
liked
to
have
been
informed
of
the
change,
this
was
not
the
case.
When
collecting
the
8-year-old
tree,
we
asked
the
seller
for
advice
regarding
the
new
substrate
and
he
told
us
that
as
soon
as
the
akadama
changed
color,
it
was
necessary
to
water
abundantly.
It
seemed
weird
to
me,
but
they
are
the
experts.
Result,
too
much
watering,
fragility
and
a
bonsai
that
dies.
When
I
called
to
ask
for
advice
again,
I
surely
came
across
the
boss
who
gave
me
very
different
instructions
from
his
colleague:
"Water
when
it
is
completely
dry
and
then
if
it
does
not
replenish
foliage
in
three
weeks,
he
is
dead.
