👍👍 We had a great experience at Fiston. The food was excellent, from the entrés to the main dishes and to the desserts. We got the soupe au fromage, quenelle, œufs et risotto à la truffe. We enjoyed everything. Additionally, I’m vegetarian, yet the server nicely proposed to make the risotto à la truffe... People often mention great, service, delicious, bone, soup, marrow, Fiston, onion,

An absolute delight nestled in the heart of Lyon's rue Saint Jean, Fiston delivers an exquisite dining experience. The Camembert roti was an exceptional start, offering a perfect blend of flavors and textures that left a lasting impression. The café gourmand, a delightful symphony of desserts, was the ideal conclusion, showcasing the chef's mastery in crafting indulgent yet perfectly portioned treats. The ambiance, coupled with attentive service, heightened the entire dining affair. Fiston undeniably stands out as a must-visit for those seeking culinary excellence and a memorable dining adventure in Lyon. Ps. The only advice I can give to improve, it is about the chicken, it was a bit dry.

Great Lyonnais comfort food. We had the Tradicionel menu, where you choose one appetizer, a main dish and desert. Onion Soup was simply amazing, the best you can find. Marrowbone was also quite unique. The service was really friendly with very attentive waiters. Good wine by the glass of by the bottle. Location is perfect in old town. Highly recommend it ;)

Located right at Old Lyon. Great food, fast service and reasonably priced. We ordered some of the local Bouchon favourites - glass of kir to start the meal, Salade Lyonnaise, Pork Sausages, Quenelle, French onion soup with soufflé, praline tiramisu, chestnut mousse.

Really a great restaurant for Lyonaise food WITH VEGETARIAN options! The waiter was so extremely nice and accommodating for us with vegetarian requests and made several changes which never happens in France. We had amazing risotto with truffle, onion soup and salad. Thanks!

Onion soup to die for. Amazing service (waiter offered to change tables to avoid the killer sun). Great atmosphere. Yes it's in a tourist area so expect tourist prices.

Service was great, even though those two waitresses were running up and down, they were smiling and joyful. Food was ok, but I expected more.

Fiston Bouchon Lyonnais deserves all the praise. We had the traditional menu and menu du Fiston. Both were great value and extremely delicious. The marrow bone, andouilette sausage in mustard, and salade Fiston were all delicious (the sausage was very rich and the salad was a standout!). The chicken breast w porcini mushrooms was a bit dry but still good. The creme brulee and cheese were great. Service was friendly and efficient. We were delighted to have visited and would love to come back.

Fell into this trap. Had 4.5 stars at time of writing. I see why now; they encourage you to write a review after the meal so this is inflated by tourists from Minnesota who think this is better than Applebees. Average food but the main issue is how inflated the price is. 30€ for a salad and sausage and wine is absurd for mediocre food. This is Michelin pricing.

Average food quality but really great service and English speaking. We ordered meat and it was very chewy. Thanks for your friendly hospitality.

Lovely atmosphere and extremely friendly waitress. Local favourite. Beef cheeks (suggestion) were fall apart tender, cooked perfectly and delicious. The portion of mashed potatoes was a little small, but that was the only gripe. Would recommend.

We happened upon Fiston-Bouchon lyonnais after the restaurant we had chosen to dine at was closed for the evening. The staff was so helpful and even stayed open late during the soccer/football game France vs. Switzerland for us, never making us feel rushed. We had the French Onion Soup, which my partner doesn't like onions and even she enjoyed the flavors and soup so much. The food was so delicious and dessert just wonderful. Hope to visit again in the future!

Highly recommend this restaurant. Food and service was great. We ordered the bone marrow as a starter. It was delicious. I would come back here just to eat the bone marrow. We order pike dumpling and beef cheek. It was flavourful and delicious. Definitely recommend.

I loved the bone marrow at this bouchon 😝 . Even the garlic bread that came w/ it was fresh and crispy . There are tiny bread crumbs on the surface of bone marrow creating a crispy texture . The dough on the souffle was tasty and shiny looking . 😍 The bartender knew a lot about crypto . To be honest I wish I could just order 10 plates of bone marrow there .

👍 Nice experience in this new restaurant. Gentle staff, there is a nice feeling. I recommend the salads which are super tasty and creative. Could not experience the fresh juice as the restaurant seems to have some teething problems but I will come back in a few weeks to try more.
