Really delicious bao at a reasonable price. The staff were very kind as well. I would definitely recommend Zakka for lunch or dinner in Lyon if you want good food!

I had dinner with my girlfriend here and we both were excited to try Chinese bao for the first time. The options for vegans could definitely be better, as there is only one vegan bao, zero vegan wontons, one vegan guabao, only a salad as a side dish but three vegan dessert options if I recall correctly. That being said, the food was delicious and presented beautifully, the staff super nice (they also spoke fluent English) and the ambiance cute and cozy. I can recommend the vegan baos and the tapioca dessert with mango. They tasted amazing. The price was acceptable, but I do agree with another review, that the "homemade chili sauce" is just the tiniest amount of chili oil that they charge you 0,50€ for, which is too much in my opinion. We would both come back should we ever get to Lyon again.

Had some of the best Bao I have ever tasted. Coming from California, we have multiple restaurants that would not make the cut compared to Bistro Zakka. Highly recommend stopping by and trying out this gem. I had the pork and beef bao and both were extremely savory. My wife had the wonton soup and the broth was flavourful. The banana chocolate dessert was delicious. The host spoke English very well. Highly recommend trying this place during your visit to Lyon.

High prices . Average food Guabao was ok.. a bit tasteless.. some shredded carrot.. and meet with very few flavors … Asked for some hot sauce ..was. Given a « home made sauce » that’was just a bit of oil that looked like left over of from frying oil and this isn’t free of charge .. you have to pay for it 0,50 € ……. All of this for 16€ .. Definitely not good value for money The side dish (zucchini cake) was very thin .. meal wasn’t filling
