😠 Very very rude manager, he was very impolite and sarcastic for no reason he didn’t let us see the menu and the prices. Horrible experience, usually french people all are very polite, but this old man should learn etiquette first before working in the restaurant.

Wonderful lunch with a sophisticated crowd. Had plat de jour roast veal with mashed potatoes, and chicken salad. Perfect portion size and cost, 12 euro and 13 euro.

Good homemade food. Great atmosphere. Traditional french meal - not a tourist trap. Not a bouchon.

Worlds smallest pressed Orange Juice. Maybe 0,5 dl glass full of ice and about 1 Orange pressed to it. As we Finns says, Ei jatkoon!

Good location on the square, good place for people watching; nice and shady. Staff spoke good English, however service is very slow and not overly friendly.. no menu, or ordering at the bar unfortunately so a quick drink on a hot day, even when it was quiet, did not an option. The waitress was too busy leaning on the bar. Shame.

While waiting the long wait for the HoHo bus we ducked in here for lunch to find that the empty sets outside were a testament to the temperatures and not the food. Very busy inside there was luckily a table tucked in the corner available and we were soon ordering our dishes. While we were there the waiting line started, and the hubbub of conversations and service continued. The food was good, we didn't have time for dessert but it was a lu ky find on a wet and windy day.

As the name of the place suggest this is a place where you can drink coffee. But no if you're vegan or have lactose allergie. No lactose free milk, no soy milk, no oat milk.

A Lyon perineal and great spot for watching life on Place Bellecour go by. More popular with locals and local business owners than tourists. Fantastic daily menu in the French tradition. Quality café-bistrot food. Staff can be busy at times but they’re always efficient, polite and also very good and friendly when time allows - it is a popular spot esp. at lunch. Good value, great local produce and wines - not showy just good quality and proper French fayre.

Lovely patina. Lively place that has not been renovated in a 150 years, and it shouldn't. Sitting there made us feel that it has been there forever, will still be like it ist is now when we are all gone. A place where you strat wondering who has been sitting on these chairs and how many decades it may took and whoms coats it were that wore off the paint of the coat hanger. If I lived there this would be the place I'd go every day for a coffee and the newspapaer.

We have visited 2 times. One of the waitress was so kind (girl with blue eyes), the other one was rude to the core (girl with the glasses)! It wasnt crowded (9.30 am) and plenty of empty seats as well, we asked for 2 coffee for 4 person and she said it is impossible to do it and we ‘have to’ order 4 items if we want to sit. It was a random and quick sit down, and we left without ordering….

The environment, the service, and the coffee were all perfect for me. This is the cafe where I most felt like a local. The service was friendly, and the people watching the absolute best.

👍 Nice experience in this new restaurant. Gentle staff, there is a nice feeling. I recommend the salads which are super tasty and creative. Could not experience the fresh juice as the restaurant seems to have some teething problems but I will come back in a few weeks to try more.

👍👍 I think this was one of the most beautiful restrooms I’ve ever been to. Of course, I ordered one of their juices to go.
