👍 Busy restaurant but the service is still good. Entree are nice, but main courses chitterlings sausage and calf liver may be challenging for first time trial - suggest to take one of the specialty only. Overall, nice restaurant though a bit overpriced in Lyon. People often mention good, service, Lyon, restaurant, nice,

This restaurant of Paul Bocus seriously takes a place in my heart! I fell in love with the Foie de Veau for the first time here. It was melting in my mouth, and I just couldn’t stop eating. I also tried the Quenelle, it was like eating cloud, so soft and tasty, I loved it! It was my first time trying out the Tarte Pralinée, it was sooo good!! Overall, I would totally come back here whenever I come to Lyon for sure!

I order starter and main dish but to be honest I didn’t like both Escargots were with small breads on the tops and full of oil In wine glass was wine mouche😒waiter changed my glass very fastly and was very kind and nice

I mean when you go to Lyon, Paul Bocuse obviously is a thing! I think this just might have been the best cheeseburger I have ever had, aside from the ones my father makes(sorry Dad it's true)! Lyon is such a wonderful and historically significant city and Paul Bocuse, although not the one cooking anymore for obvious reasons, has made his mark here and I seriously recommend eating here. Not cheap but WELL WORTH the money. As a starter I had the Gazpacho and moving forward, the forementioned cheeseburger and I walked away with a smile on my face! Quite the famous movie quote fits here nicely: I'll be back! P.S.: Check out the toilets on the upper floor and the rooms of the ancient hotel when walking by them... P.P.S.: A huge thanks to everyone working there for your dedication and service!

Best onion soup I ever had in a very long time! Also, I have ordered the row salmon dish which comes with tartare sauce, it was refreshing and yummy 😋 The waiters are very friendly too 🙏

We came to the Brasserie on the recommendation of a friend. Glad I went but probably would not go back. I had the onion soup and the quenelle and I was happy enough with both but not impressed. Quenelle was soft and fluffy but with nothing of texture accompanying it, I feel like it would have been a better starter then main. It was also 25 euro for a dumpling with no protein. We stayed 2 days in Lyon and at the end of it, I feel like this was the meal I could have done without. Certainly it was the worst that we had in Lyon in terms of value. Tips: the set menu is good value. Maybe I would feel differently about brasserie Le Nord if I had gotten that. Also, just look at the number of places within half a mile of Le Nord that has >4.5 rating on Google... Go to one of those!! Lyon is packed with awesome restaurants. Come here only if Le Institute is closed and you feel like you need affiliation with the Bocuse name. (I am guilty as charged, lol).

Very nice place. The food was good and the service okay but too busy to be perfect. They took the short cut and that is not the Bocuse way, I think.

This was one of the greatest gastronomic experience I already had. The dishes were wonderful. Dessert a little too much, but good as well. Great service and people served well even at closing time

The best sauerkraut I've had so far. That's just the opening line to describe the experience at Le Nord. The top-level service is just the cherry on the top for an amazing soirée. Make sure to make your reservation ahead as the place is always booked.

Do not recommend. Very inattentive service. I saw servers leaning and chatting with each other but did not bother to answer requests. (1 star) Let’s go onto the food - Steak tartar: The seasoning is very unimpressive. Doesn’t taste like anything that I would remember after I have tasted it. The tarter also doesn’t taste fresh. (2 stars) Gratin des macaroni: It tastes good. Not like a bombing flavor but very average. (4 stars) It’s a very average restaurant. The price quality ratio is pretty low. Will not go back.

This was our guilty pleasure toward the end of our trip. A perfect place to enjoy a slow-paced, quality meal. Staff were all professional and efficient (new bottles of chilled water were on our table as soon as the last ones were empty). Food was prepared perfectly (some of the most tender pork we've had, in our case). Desserts were to the same standards as the main course. We would definitely return!

I had my engagement dinner with family there. Even though on their website, the private salons for groups came with a group menu, when reserving straight at the restaurant, the staff made our reservation in a private salon upstairs with the normal menu for no added fee! Exactly what i hoped for as i wanted my guests to have full choice on what they wanted to order. The food and service were excellent, great quality and quantity, everyone told me how wonderful their experience was. Plus, since we were in a private room, the children were able to move around without bothering other guests. Will definitly come again, for other family events or just pleasure! Thank you for making this dinner memorable.

Terrible service. Asked for dessert, waited for half an hour and nothing. Had to cancel it. Blonde waitress on the second floor didn’t even apologize. Food was also lackluster.

Good dinner spot with a selection of traditional cuisine. An enjoyable place, perfect for a nice long conversation with friends. Waiter was friendly and suggested a lovely wine. A nice treat for a special, proper sit-down French meal! Highly recommend!

Slightly overrated. I chose it because is was a Paul Bocuse restaurant. Food was really enjoyable. The fries are incredible. There are a lot of places locally that would probably give you a better gastronomic experience.

Actually I would rate it 4.5. The beef was amazing, very soft and tender. However the desert (rhum baba) was not so exciting.

👍 Nice experience in this new restaurant. Gentle staff, there is a nice feeling. I recommend the salads which are super tasty and creative. Could not experience the fresh juice as the restaurant seems to have some teething problems but I will come back in a few weeks to try more.
