Been bringing my horror-obsessed son to The Crypt since it opened on Birley Street and was delighted to see they'd expanded into the property next door and opened a milkshake bar. Took the boy down on opening day and was not disappointed. The staff recognised us from previous visits and were friendly as ever, the milkshake my son had was excellent and well-priced compared to similar offerings, and the decor and ambience was suitably themed and a welcome change from more "normal" cafés. Highly recommend, and likely to improve as they get settled in to the new expanded premises.

Took a trip up to Blackpool with this place as a top priority visit. Certainly worth it! There's so much cool stuff to see and experience if you like horror/true crime. Enjoyed it immensely! The only downside is it's not longer (though time flies when you're having fun). Would happily visit again, it sounds like they're very dedicated and ambitious to making it bigger and better every year.

Fun little shop with friendly eccentric staff, there's a nice variety of horror memorabilia and clothing, sometimes I find stuff I want like some gorgeous shoes I spotted yesterday. Its definitely worth a visit and even if you buy nothing you can certainly enjoy the decor here and the shake shop next door!

The passion that these guys have in creating this attraction shines through in bucket loads. Classic old school scares, the best £3 you could ever spend in Blackpool. If I had the time and the money, this would be my dream - to create something as brilliant as this. Hats off to you!

One really friendly place and top shop for horror, friendly staff the guys behind the counter know a fathom of information on horror and some amazing collection of blu ray and dvd in the back with VHS to boot. In the drinking side a really friendly assistant where she showed me all the drinks they have to offer. As I was working in the winter gardens so hope to come back again sometime from sunny Liverpool. And can I ask I'm looking for that film The Butcher you had n VHS do they do it on dvd fellas many thanks for everything.

Brilliant staff and great shop. The cafe bar is good too. Lots to Lok at, as well as great value t-shirts and films in the back. If you like horror and cult, go and support this fantastic business.

At the back of this store hides a classic VHS shop ran by one of the nicest and most helpful people you could ever meet. He knows his old movies well and has a mind blowing selection of old tapes. If you have to watch 80's horror on tape, as intended, this is a great place to start.

Ordered bubble tea from the café, and also bought a necklace from the shop itself. Really nice, would come again for sure!

Gem of a find and found a horror bust that I have been after for years. Top staff inside and so friendly. I then went next door to the cafe/bar and was blown away by their set up. If you are a horror film fan, you will love both places.

Me, my mum and my son went to cafe and loved it so much we can wait to go back. Everyone is friendly and the drinks was great and my son said the cake was lovely. Can't wait to go back.

Brilliant shop and cafe hidden away in the town centre. Their clothing range is fantastic, if you're a fan of 'alternative' fashion. The team are extremely talkative, Kurt in particular always has a good story or two, and it's somewhere that's well worth a visit if your a fan of horror, with plenty of lifelike statues of all the classic characters littered between the store and the cafe next door. There's plenty of collectables, pin badges, patches, masks and other items to peruse through, which can easily take up a good chunk of time, despite the store's seemingly 'small' nature. I go here whenever I head to Blackpool and usually leave with something!

I came in here yesterday about 3pm and was ignored completely by the bar staff man for about 5 minutes whilst he chatted to his friends. I ask him twice for a black coffee, when he brought a white coffee, I told I couldn't drink that. (I'm lactose intolerant) he told me in no uncertain terms that I'd ordered a white coffee.. so I left. The truth of the matter was he was so busy chatting that he wasn't paying attention to his customer. .
