We visit here regularly and it's a wonderful park. So much to see and do. The play area is huge and suitable for all ages and abilities. There is even a swing for disabled children. The sand pit there is also great for children. The gardens are very well maintained and the flower displays glorious. The cafe is grand and the menu is varied. Our favourite area is the lake itself. On last count we spotted 53 swans! Amazing after what happened there with bird flu. Obviously very happy birds. If you follow their page on Facebook you will be able to see all the wonderful events they have on in the park. There is something for everyone, from live music to book clubs and dog walking groups. In the school holidays this is ramped up to the max for the children and we enjoyed a few of the events such as a lovely little circus skills session a few days ago.

Massive park with plenty of areas to throw a blanket down and have a picnic. Lots of cultivated flower beds and plenty of paths to wander through. You can hire pedalo's and speedier boats or watch the swans and ducks while eating an ice cream. There's 5 a side pitches, tennis courts, an athletics stadium, a BMX track, fishing, afternoon teas in the cafe. It's just lovely!

Huge park, lots of green fields to play and have a picnic in. Tennis courts, football pitch, bowling green, basketball nets, play park, skateboard ramps, ice-cream shop and bouncing castle. Great afternoon out, only problem was we couldn't find any public toilets anywhere. Other than that it's a lovely clean park with lots to do

Who would have thought that Blackpool had more to offer than towers & rollercoasters? Stanley Park is a gem.... And by no means a little one.... It is vast! We parked on East Park Road which was the entrance by the big lake. This seems split into 2,one part for wildlife conservation and the other for public and boats. There are lovely fountains and also a bandstand looking structure that obviously hosts shows of some kind. Then you carry on further to the Italian garden and the impressive Lion tower that has tennis courts and an athletics track and little grandstand next to it. Such a lovely park to enjoy and walk around. There is much more to see and if we had time we would have stayed longer.

Voted favourite park in England a few times Stanley park is a massive park with different areas such as an Italian garden, lake, hike paths, sports centre, children’s play area, football pitches, bike trail and skate park, model village next to it and so much more. Some places could be better preserved and looked after but it’s free entry with free parking.

Went for a walk around the park, loved the boating lake and beautiful autumn colours. Some areas needed a little attention such as the bowling area but otherwise well kept and tidy.

The park is huge, full with beautiful flowers and trees. The lake not so clean, you can not swim. If you have got a dog is a perfect solution to bring here.

Good ..not been there since I was a kid decades ago..negative first ..can you not get some of the older kids adventure stuff fixed? Sick of seeing it taped off with barriers with no apparent reason why and the zip wire. Having said that..Great lovely hostess of cafe lakeside ..Great hot chocolate..open 7 days..loads of swans ..wildlife / saw a heron ...the main cafe in the old building has a fab menu and seats outside..toilets free and open in the car park.. superb bmx track open and unused and free and good skateboard park ....people kayaking ...cycling..really good and massive ...crazy golf..picnic areas..

Wonderful park. Plenty of things to do whilst your there too. A cafe from the 1930’s which do a fantastic afternoon tea. Tennis courts, BMX track and a newly built skateboard park. If you just want to put a blanket down and chill plenty of space just to do that, surrounded by wonderful gardens including the Italian Gardens.

We parked inside Stanley Park carpark via the West Park Drive entry. There's a wide choice of walks and activities here still in winter. Cafe, inside and outside seats. Gardens are tranquil. There is plenty of seating everywhere. The lake is full of birds. Many birds are to be seen around, including parakeets now. Looks great for dog walkers seen here. Playground. There's access to lots of sports areas. The toilets are open too. Everywhere is clean and very tidy. Great for disabled.

What a fantastic place - victorians really built to last, didn't they? Tasty scrambled egg on toast from cafe, and lots of it. Great value. Best ice cream I've had for ages too. Whole place has a retro feel that reminded me of when I was a kid. Free easy parking and no crowds - a great place to walk the dog and for kids to run around. Beautiful lake. We loved it. .

Stanley Park is a beautiful place away from the bright lights, a 1930's park with Art Deco buildings, a boating lake in Summer plus modern outdoor sports facilities along with a super park cafe, really worth a visit all round! x

Stanley Park is a place most visitors won't go to or see but is a great place to relax in and visit. Caters for every taste, whether you're active or not. The Italian Garden a great place to read or listen to music. Cafes and shops available to get teas, coffees and ice cream. The Zoo and the Model Village is also worth visiting if in the area!

Our beautiful Stanley Park is perfect for the whole family . Parking with disabled bays, toilets , Art deco Cafe, Visitors Centre bandstand, and a wide variety of fun activities . Plenty of Benches to sit, rest, and enjoy the beautiful flower beds and vast variety of trees . It's truly a beautiful place to visit all year round 💜

Decided to spend an afternoon here with my two teenage boys in an attempt to find something different from Blackpool fodder. Parked in the leisure centre to charge the car during the afternoon. There was a classic car show in the park which was lovely to see some cracking cars which took me back to my youth when you could actually work on the engines rather than plugging in to a computer! There was a banjo group playing and they were great - first for me hearing something like this - George Formby tribute band I think?? Had lunch in the cafe which was very tasty - burger and lasagne!

Stanley Park is beautiful. The people who keep the grounds do an excellent job. My grandboy LOVES the play park. I played on the same spot 44 years ago! However it’s far more modern now. The grounds are beautiful. In spring and summer we like to go to the park. Walk around and have lunch in the cafe. You can feed the ducks on the lake, take the mini train on a small ride. Play crazy golf or just sit and take in the green grass and beautiful flowers.

Excellent park, caters for everyone. Toilets could do with upgrading as they were very poor indeed but I guess like all public parks money is tight so something has to give. We sat in the cafe area outside as it was a warm day and enjoyed that very British thing a pot of tea and a scone. We liked the pedalos despite the fact that it leaked in. There was a substantial children's play area and some well tended gardens. The bedding was just going in when we visited. There seemed to be a bit of trouble with parking as it wasn't clearly signposted. I'd go again as the dogs enjoyed sniffing around.

Lovely public park outside of Blackpool city centre (It's 1.5mile walk from the North Pier area), en route to the zoo. Great place to unwind along the banks of several (artificially created) lakes. There's café right in the centre of the park which offers the usual amenities, and with the help of Google Maps you're in no danger of loosing your way. One of the prettier places in town.

Awesome park with plenty of things to do, the skate park is amazing and my son loved it, its kept nice and clean and the lads in there do a good job maintaining it. The park itself is huge, the cafe is also very nice, you could spend a day here and there is plenty of space for a picnic or to play all types of sports. Cant wait to visit Blackpool again to visit here. 😍 well recommend this park, you will not be disappointed.

Lovely park I came across while walking back to the station. It's very beautiful and spacious! I only spent 10 minutes or so but it was enough to see how relaxing & beautiful it is. I think it'd be beyond amazing on a sunny day!

Beautiful park, the flowers and fountains are superb! Very wheelchair friendly. The cafe was lovely (really nice burger and chips- would recommend!) And its all dog friendly which is a plus :) there's a main car park or you can park on the side of the road, its all free too which is amazing! Could spend hours here- a must do if visiting the Blackpool area

Lovely park if a little soggy. A few of the playground items were fenced off which was a shame but the park is lovely and we really enjoyed the Halloween event on the visitors ce trw.

my wife and I and two friends had a day out at Stanley Park . I must say what a stunning place this is we was a bit out of season as the beautiful flowers had not come up yet Nor was the boating lake open . Nevertheless we had a lovely walk round in the midday sunshine. Ideal to take a picnic just to sit on the grass and take in the view. The Only thing letting Stanley Park Down was the disgusting state of the public toilets. very little within the way of toilet roll . No hand soap in the dispensers . And the baby changing area had cigarette tobacco all over it . The floor & wall tiles were disgusting. This area of the park is just neglected and needs shutting down for a deep clean. But the Park itself is well worth a visit. If you are in Blackpool itself you will need to drive or get a taxi as it is a bit out the way

Wow - you have to go a long way to beat this location. It’s beautiful, lots to do and see - and the cafe is a mirage in the desert - staff are so friendly. Our go to place at Blackpool from now on. Downside - public toilets, ladies were closed and gents were disgusting (leave it at that) come on Fylde Council you can do better

I come to Stanley Park nearly every day with my dog,it's easy to park in the café car park although only small it's best come early if eating there but you can park just before the main entrance via the sports facility car park there is an overflow parking and it's inside the park right next to the café path .lots to do in if you bring your own picnic to sit and enjoy.there putting fir all and a crazy golf ,also the boating lake to rent a boat .there's the lake walk which is lovely fir spotting the swans and herons and the many large turtles,an enjoyable wildlife walk for the children and adults alike fir super photos.all parking is free .There's a super adventure course but please inquire re booking it online .there is a free children's big playground ,and if bring your bike or boards there's a free skate ramps also .You can ride the park if your on cycles too .
