This was an interesting visit and experience which I would recommend to anyone visiting Blackpool that likes museum type places and learning facts and just seeing weird, cool and interesting things. It would be nice if there were more things to look at and towards the end there is supposed to be some sort of moving bridge but when walking over it nothing happened so I'm not sure if it was broke during my visit or it just wasn't turned on but there was no sign to say it wasn't working.

Full of peculiar and fascinating things. Definitely worth a visit while in Blackpool. They also do a Blue Light Discount.

We both thoroughly enjoyed our visit, it was so fascinating learning about the most unusual things! We pre-booked our tickets, and went an hour before it was due to close so we were the only people there, which suited us just fine to go at our own pace & read everything. It took us nearly 40/50 minutes to go around, but we did rush a bit towards the end because it was nearing closing time. There were plenty of automatic hand sanitisers around, at the start of the new areas. However, I imagine it would be difficult to social distance in a place like this because the areas could easily be crowded. I’d definitely go again, it’s worth a visit😁

A few interesting pieces, and the mirrors and moving tunnel are fun, but I'm not sure it's worth the cost. Not really *that* interesting most of the way round, and lots of "interactive" things you have to pay extra for. Staff are friendly enough though and helpful.

Wouldn't say it was something for young kids to enjoy really, lots of reading about Artifacts! Me and my fiancé throughly enjoyed our trip, and for £13 each, can't complain! Only wish there was a bit more interactions, could be updated as doesn't seem like it's been updated in years. Me and my fiancé also touched the famous fertility statue, and we conceived our first baby that same week!!!

The low star rating is for the price, after paying £10 for kids and £15 for adults, i was expecting far more. We were in and out in 20 minutes. Some interesting bits in there, but not worth anywhere near the cost. If you have tickets for the Pleasure Beach, one of the attractions 'Impossible', is actually free and has a huge chunk of the same content.

We really enjoyed Ripley's Believe It Or Not, but to some degree it is what you make of it. It's quite a dated proposition showing curiosities and curios in an age where google answers everything - but I found it really fun. It's so easy to walk past key exhibits and not realise exactly what you're walking past but there's even a piece from the real 'Greatest Showman' (Barnum) in there, most of which most people didn't even batter an eye at. My recommendation is not to go with an expectation to be wowed but to go with a desire to immerse yourself in the weird, wacky and to relish old and new curios and quirks. Take some change too, there's a lot of old fashioned machines in there that are well worth trying (20ps and £s are I think the most common!). If your mindset isn't up for it it's really easy to criticise, but we loved it... And loved that we loved it more than the people who went in with us who wanted to run through without taking the time to enjoy, learn, relish, explore and appreciate.

Went with partner it was £30 for us both it lasted around 10-15 minutes. Wasn't very fun or entertaining. The most interesting bit was the spinning tunnel. Wouldn't recommend.

Interesting visit, quite a few items on display, plus information/fact boards. A lot of things are behind glass and a few mannequins made up as "unusual or fascinating" people. Took just over an hour to walk through, very quiet, no rush or crowds, which was surprising with it being a Saturday in half term. Price very reasonable, £10 for an adult and child. Would I go again, probably not unless my son said he wanted to. Can't imagine the displays change that frequently.

Quirky little place to visit while in Blackpool. Full of lots of weird/ strange things. There are lots of machines that cost for example 50p. There's also a machine to get change but at the time of entering was out of order. So be aware of this especially if you have children who may want to use them. There's a gift shop at the end that doesn't have alot of items from Ripley's just a few magnets, badges and rulers. The rest is sweets or pleasure beach merchandise. All in all a great place to visit whilst in Blackpool

Only 4 stars its good but if you have a problem walking around then it's got lots off stairs and no lifts So a bit off a struggle there But apart from that awesome people and very interesting and informative things some photo from here

A nice hour spent here, great exhibits, having been to Florida Ripleys, this is on a much smaller scale but interesting exhibits all the same. Something to surprise everyone.

Visited this museum in March 2022 while on a weekend break in blackpool. We had been trying for a baby for 2+ years with no luck and so many months of disappointment. My partner told me about the fertility statue in this museum and of course i wanted to go and see it. After all when you want something so much youll pretty much try anything possible.. we visitied this museum on 19/03/2022 and i followed the instructions of the fertility statue and hoped for a miracle.. on the 30th April 2022 i happened to take a pregnancy test as i was feeling a little strange for the past week i was so nervous taking this test as all the previous ones had left me disappointed to the point i had started to give up trying... to my surprise I had a faint positive and tested 3 more times including a digital clearblue and found out i was 2-4 weeks pregnant with my first baby...We were absolultely over the moon with this and we went through a healthy pregnancy with a beautiful little boy he was born 19/12/2022 at 37+3days gestation weighing 5lb 6oz and hes absolutely gorgeous! Still to this day i believe the trip to this museum to see and touch that fertility statue worked its magic for me.. its just such a coincidence :) will always stick by this and will be showing my little boy this museum when hes older too :)

Actually only visited here because we were at that end of the beach and it started raining. I love facts so it was actually really enjoyable. Great exhibits and friendly staff at the door. Only marking it down a star as I thought it was a bit pricey for what you get. Definitely worth a look if you visit. Oh, if you go, make sure you pull as many faces as possible in the mirror - you'll see why :)

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the only museum in the UK (Blackpool), and I wanted to take a moment to express my appreciation for the exceptional experience. The exhibits were both informative and engaging, showcasing a perfect blend of historical context and artistic presentation.

If you like reading then it's okay a bit boring and for £15 it's not worth it.

Before coming to visit I read others reviews saying it was overpriced and thought these people where being a bit mean at £10 for children £13 for adults, but now I’ve been I agree, it wasn’t worth the £23 we paid. We were in there for 7 minutes. It’s just a museum, very similar to the free “ impossible “ walk around that is free in Blackpool pleasure beach. As others have said there are a few interactive bits that don’t work or are asking for extra money to enjoy. In all honesty my 11 year old was a bit creeped out about the dark scary part and really didn’t enjoy overall.

Do not fall for the online discount code with golden moments / they do not work with this company and have never heard of it. I fell into the scam That being said, staff were lovely and let us in free of charge (well I paid £10 each for a scam ticket) Lots of cool stuff, definitely something for everybody, and there loads, 2 floors full! Very interactive as there is stuff to do / games to play throughout Definitely give it a go; some reviews say they’re in and out but if you appreciate it for what it is you need around an hour and a half in there

Absolutely wonderful. Only 15 each for adult ticket, and was so worth it. So much to see and be involved in and do, definitely worth it for all ages (although some gruesome parts eg skulls)

Paid £50 family deal for this once-great museum which used to be in Piccadilly Circus in London but this relocation to Blackpool is heavily scaled down to just two small floors. The older children found it interesting in some places but too gory in others.

Such a unique place to visit, some great things to look at and read about. A little expensive for the amount of time it took to walk through.

Can't comment on whats inside, if your disabled it's advertised as access to ground floor only but that's only for the brave or slimline wheelchair users to get over the rope bridge. The staff were far from enthusiastic in helping us enter to the point that we called it off but said we'll go in the shop. Pissin down with rain, it's not great finding the doors locked. Went back to be told you enter via the shop next door (all part of same business), nice if the staff member knowing we were going there could have mentioned it so staff attitude is more than enough to put us off if ever there was a better chance of getting in

Went to Blackpool for a nice little holiday and stumbled across Ripley’s Believe it or Not! Now having read the books I was keen to have a look and see what they had! It cost £30 entry for two of us (which i though was a bit steep when we entered). Walked through the entire thing in about 15-20 minutes feeling quite unamused. Nothing really spectacular, you could see 90% of the items at your local museum for free! Felt ripped off at the end and it really wasn’t worth the money :(

Quite enjoyable walk around, took just under an hour. Quite interesting but also a bit of a let-down as a lot of displays are dummies or lookalikes rather than the real thing but interesting reading about Ripley and his adventures.
