What a lovely place to get out and enjoy nature during lockdown.

Really interesting to find out more about the area, the animals in the reserve and history etc. Great to see an emphasis being put on the nature of the areas in what is quite a commercialised zone. The kids enjoy it too which is nice and we will certainly come back next time we are in the Marton Mere area.

Access to this place appears to be cut off. After you turn off the A583 on to Mythrop Road and then second left you are immediately faced with the road closed as housing is being built ahead. To the right of this blockage there is an entrance to a Holiday Park. Maps shows access to the reserve through there. There are no comments to indicate whether this is correct and are quite old. Google please verify hat route is correct through the holiday park.
