The Lowther Pavillion is a small, basic music/theatre venue but that said it has all the essentials like a bar, cafe, box office, parking and disabled toilet facilities. Ideal for those who like live performance in a small intimate environment. The grounds are well tended with a playground and bowling green. Plenty of benches to sit on and a pond to look at. Events such as the annual Ice Cream Festival and Halloween Funfair have been successful held here. Overall this is a very nice family friendly venue with nice well kept gardens and playground/bowling green. So something for everyone!

It's a wonderful place with a good play area for kids wonderful Gardens and tennis courts plus it is the home of the statue of the late great bobby ball who was a patron of the theatre and if bobby liked it it'll do for me cocker

Great little venue with a surprisingly wide variety of shows and gigs. Great seating with a good view no matter where you sit. Plenty of parking and good accessibility for wheelchair users. Reasonable bar prices and helpful staff set in lovely park grounds. I will be back.

Great coffee, and the egg custard and Bakewell slice were delicious. 😋 Will definitely be back to try some hot food.

Great venue. Lovely volunteer staff. The sound was superb for the Seth Lakeman gig. Even the car parking was great. Beer prices were good too.

Small but friendly theatre. Went to see Danny Bhoy here and a superb show. Staff were all really friendly and helpful. Bar service was quick and reasonably priced. Not a big carpark but plenty on street parking.

A brilliant little theatre, I went with my grandchildren and we had a super day. The onsite cafe was so busy we couldn't get seats :( as it was Easter time. Staff amazing at coping and we had to have a takeout which they do accomodate. Parking free for evening shows and £3 for the daytime use. I would think when there's no special events on the cafe would be easier to use. Recommend

The lowther pavilion is a lovely theatre with brilliant shows. The venue has a wonderful volunteer team willing to help while you visit the Pavilion. You can also visit the Lowther Gardens well worth a visit.

Excellent venue. Very easy to park close-up. Only issue was our seats on Row K so the row in front (Row J) had a large bar on the floor making leg room awkward. Otherwise the venue was brilliant!

Absolutely BRILLIANT, been and watch Chris Connor and yet another amazing show. The staff were so helpful and made the night a night to remember. I would definitely say this is the place to go for a great night's entertainment. So they get a 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ rating from me. Keep up the great work team. 👍 🤗.

This was our first experience of a streamed production which did come across better than expected. The play itself was so well acted by all members but the absence of costumes or sets did take away some of the enjoyment. I suppose it did ensure full focus on the actors and thus appreciation of what they achieved, being done on a blank canvas, The Seagull. The ending took me by surprise. The theatre and staff were friendly and helpful. We are lucky to have this facility so close and active.

The pavilion cafe is reasonably priced with decent food. The building itself looks very old and tired (hence the score) but there's work going on and what looks like major improvements planned. The best bit of this area by far though are the gardens themselves - definitely worth a walk round if you're in the area to admire the flowers and trees. There plenty of seating in the gardens too if you're there for a picnic. Parking is £2.50 for the day, but there is on-road parking if you're lucky to find a spot.

Very pleasant, modern auditorium with comfortable seating. It's much more accessible than many theatres and has an open, spacious feeling. There's a wide range of films and shows on offer and a full programme for all tastes and ages. Friendly service in the bar - and a wonderful cafe. Every time I visit I think I should come here more often!

G4 was absolutely fantastic. Felt safer wearing a mask, due to queue for sweets etc... The seat we had was perfect away from the main audience, distanced. Still thoroughly enjoyed it.

Great shows and lovely staff. Managed to get returned tickets last minute and the Box office stayed open for us. Soup and a sandwich with the afternoon film matinee is def worth it. Tip re seating- The tiers go up 2 rows at a time so try to book the front row of the 2 as it may spoil your view on the back row of the 2.Plenty of leg room unless you are on row A which has a fixed rail which stops your feet moving forward.

We went to an event rather than the pavilion its self. The event was good. Fair ground rounds priced at 2.50 for 3 goes on most things which was reasonable. The parade that was advertised ( see pictures below) was a little bit of a let down. The pictures literally show the parade which was a handful of puppets walking along one got stuck int he tree and then ended up at the side of the road. There was a lovely Halloween decorated outside bar and a fore show which was good. There was also a drive in China showing which looked great to. It looked like daytime activity were different from the evening with a Pumpkin patch set out and a craft tent. I'd fully recommend people to head down to the events It looked like lots of effort went in but no a huge amount of people there enjoying in. Overall a lovely enjoyable evening for the family and a nice place to visit .
