👍👍 This little village is well worth a visit, the views are spectacular. And the restaurants built into the side of the mountain are amazing. There's lots of quaint streets and many shops, proper little tourist trap. The only thing I didn't like was the fact that they have donkey rides round the town,... This little village is well worth a visit, the views are spectacular. And the restaurants built into the side of the mountain are amazing. There's lots of quaint streets and many shops, proper little tourist trap. The only thing I didn't like was the fact that they have donkey rides round the town, I think it's so cruel especially in the heat over there. Could easily spend a week here just pottering around.

A very pretty traditional mountain village with meandering streets lined with blue pots and plants. Donkeys, panoramic views, value for money shops including clothing. Tapas bars, fountains and the friendly locals make this place a must visit ❤️

Beautiful little village, like something out of a painting, which is fitting because it is an inspiring place for a lot of artists, especially painters. Really take the time to walk around and explore. The little cathedral 'ermita de la Virgen de la Peña' is also beautiful to see but sometimes it's closed during the afternoon for cleaning. The terrace across from it is great to have a refreshing drink and is located so beautifully. There's also a little shop that sells seaglass or items made from seaglass. The only downside, for me personally, is the use of the donkeys as taxi's. I know it's a part of this village but it's hard not to say anything about the extreme weather conditions these donkeys are working in.

Very cute old village in the mountains. With beautiful narrow streets, stairs and many touristic stores and restaurants. Beautiful panorama view from the garden. Necessarily to visit.

Beautiful white village above Fuengirola (about 7 km) on a hillside. During the summer a lot of tourists, it is worth visiting before noon.

The Rout is rocky so you need good shoes. 👍 if your not very fit you can make short walk to the shrine maybe.. The excellent view of mijas ,Fuengirola malaga and gibratar is breath taking... 👌 Don't forget to carry enough water with you. ..

Mijas, a wonderful Spanish pueblo, looking at the sea from.up there. White houses, leather products, cozy restaurants, tabernas, terraces are local traditions. Beautiful gardens and amazing views from up there. Must see place, definitely.

The views on either a windy day or sunny afternoon is breathtakingly beautiful. Park near the bullring or locally in the square and walk to take in the view from observational points. We tried to be there when sun was setting but also on a cloudy windy afternoon. The surrounding area has plenty of shops to investigate too. Knock yourselves out

Clean, perfect village in Spain. Amazing streets, white houses, blue pots, colorful doors. Some hidden streets as well. Amazing views. Small shops and souvenir shops too. Nice cafe and restaurants. Must visit when you are near the area.

Mijas Pueblo or ' The White Village ' as it's affectionately called on Costa Del Sol - is atypical of the whitewashed villages you find in Southern Spain, sporting the Andalusian architecture and style. The village itself is high in the hills above Fuengirola, with it's beautiful white alleyways, offering primarily cafes and souvenir shops. It has a residential side too. The village is quaint and very chilled out. A must - visit 💛💚💙💜!

When I arrived in this place, it was love at first sight. This pretty village has everything you want, from cozy and beautiful places to views that are breathtaking. Having the mountains nearby and seeing the sea from the top is simply amazing. The white houses and the beautiful streets are showing the true meaning of Mijas Pueblo. You get the chance to experience how is to be in a typical village from Andalucia. I recommend it for visiting so you can take part to some nice events there and to enjoy the beautiful village above the sea.

Excellent pueblo blanco, worth to visit when in Benelmadena or nearby. There is a 45' trip by bus, at 1,55eur bus ticket, but the second half of the journey is breathtaking. When reaching Mijas, a whole garden-village awaits you. Mijas is both a white village and a botanical garden, with many narrow streets ornated with flowers, small squares, and a mini-bullring, a large shadowed viewpoint and numerous souvenir shops, cafe bars and restaurants. For those coming by car parking near center costs 1 euro the whole day. There are tuk tuk and donkey rides available. The village is beautiful to explore, 2-3 hours you won't get bored.

A lot of scenic views from Mijas, but also a hardcore tourist-spot. Not quite what I expected..

Beautiful village, full of charm. Very special visiting it today - so quiet, due to all restrictions, compared with our last visit 8 years ago.

The place is beautiful with very scenic view of sea from top of a mountain. Houses are white which makes the city more beautiful.

it is now autumn and i am around Málaga 😅 And if you are like me around Málaga i should say you should see this small town It is really beautiful & picturesque town😍 Could be very good option for one #weekendgateaway 🤗 Staying and eating there could be a little pricey but it would worth it Or like me you could stay in Fuengirola and you can take bus 122 😇 it takes around 20 minutes or 1/2 hour & costs 1,55 euro So as you see this one is also good option😀 Hope you like it like i do😊

The friendliest village on the coast. Loads of history and great tapas. Great walks around the village and there’s even a tuktuk. Living here has been great and would recommend it to anyone who asks.
