["The hotel is just by the sea, with direct access to the beach. It has simple facilities but it is nicely set, with open spaces, flowers all around, and a well designed swimming pool. It has a bar and restaurant. The rooms are good, with a modern bathroom, good air conditioning, tv (we didn't use it but anyway), and a lovely small terrace with plants, a sofa and a small table. The crew at the hotel can't be nicer and you feel safe and comfortable. Breakfast is very good, with several options, and the restaurant is top level. It is possibly the best restaurant we have ever been to, except for a couple of Michelin 3-stars. It was hard to leave the restaurant to go sample other things in Mancora. We stayed the first 2 nights in a deluxe junior suite. We were disappointed at first for finding out that they gave us 2 small beds together as a king size bed, instead of a queen size as it said in the reservation. Luckily, Edison, the general manager, was very professional and upgraded me for the rest of my stay. That is just to show the level of professionalism with the stuff at this place. The lurin breakfast is the best. Coffee cups are small, I would ask for a tall cup. Most of their food is pretty good. Specially their cocktails which are brought to you by the pool. CESAR and JACKSON are great at accommodating and making you feel well taken care of. Take good care of them. You won’t regret it. This is the best place with access and view to the beach. You can walk few blocks to the boulevard and eat at some of those restaurants. I particularly recommend wiracocha for during the day and Tocuyo restaurant ( new location )if you want to go a have a great dining experience. Overall, we had a great time at Suites Del Mar and will definitely go back again.

["This terrific boutique hotel is a five minute tuk-tuk ride to downtown Mancora. As a result, it\u2019s a quiet getaway from the noise of this party town. There is a decent small beach right next to the hotel but a really excellent, quiet and large beach about a 10 minute walk to the north.\n\nBuildings on the ocean tend to get beat up by the weather, but they do a nice job maintaining the facility. The rooms are nice, but not great. The shower is nice and hot and the beds are about average for comfort. The air conditioning is a must and works well. Most rooms have a balcony and on the second and third floors you can enjoy views of the ocean.\n\nThe best things about this hotel are the staff and the restaurant. Everyone is incredibly friendly and very helpful and the food is quite good. The free breakfast they offer is as good as any we have ever had. There are four different options for a complete breakfast and the presentation is very nice. This hotel is in a really great location, the people around are really nice and friendly. Most of the staff are very friendly and accommodating. The food is wonderful. Breakfast was the best that I've ever had. The main attendant at the front desk speaks and understands English really well. The pool is quite nice, the grounds are beautiful and it's right on the beach. The room that has the private pool is really nice it has a great view, the room layout is good. Toilet has decent spacing around it, etc. The fact though that the private pool didn't have hot water was really disappointing because the weather was cold at the time. The AC didn't work efficiently and the wifi had poor signal in that specific room. The beach there isn't so good for bathing, but you can wind surf. There are alot of places within walking distance and a really nice public beach. You can rent ATVs and ride around the roads and the beach.

We stayed at this hotel for a few nights and it was a delight. You are 10min walk from the main strip, either you walk the back roads or the beach. Right outside the busier area, it's very calm and relaxing. You can ask the front desk for a moto taxi to be called, and they'll arrive within 5minutes. The food was fresh and we were treated amazingly by Lady at the front desk and Cesar as our waiter! The hotel provides snack and coffee every day at 4pm which was amazing, I'd highly recommend this calm gem if you're going in the area.

Despite being a little far from town. 10min walk. This is the best hotel in Mancora. It’s a little pricey but worth it. If you’re a couple and want quite place outside of the noisy town you’ll love it here !

The rooms are clean and well kept with good beds. The service is really good. All the people working there go above and beyond to make feel comfortable and get you everything you need. The food is really really good. The only problem is that the outdoors (pool area, relaxing area and restaurant) are not exactly clean or well kept. The place needs a facelift and some small repairs. They have a nice place that needs some up keeping.
