The café Arrenius & Company was a very lovely experience. As it doesn't have many seats I visited right when it opened in the morning. The Cappuccino and the snack I ordered tasted both very good. The staff was extremely friendly. I can definitely recommend this place.

Recently visited this lovely shop/cafe after reading the amazing reviews! They did not disappoint, we were served by the lovely and enthusiastic Polina - she was very kind, knowledgable, funny and just overall great customer service. She made us the “Geisha” coffee, which was amazing, but she also kindly shared her own batch with us too. Her knowledge on coffee is just wow! Incredible, such an amazing experience and we cannot wait to visit again soon. Thank you 🙏

Arrenius is a lovely little place where you can have the best coffee in town and try new ones as well. The owners are incredibly nice and will recommend coffee/roasts based on your tastes. Sits about 6 inside, plus two or three outside, and if you need to wait for a table to clear up, do it! It is well worth the wait. There are always some sweets or baked goods for sale. Tip: after lunch, run to Arrenius to have a cup of coffee and a sweet treat: better than dessert!

Love at first sip ;) A definite recommendation on visiting Uppsala. I tried speciality coffee and I have to say it was a very enjoyable and cosy experience. Awsome service with delicious coffee.

Easily one of the best coffee shops I've had the pleasure of entering in Sweden. This tiny shop is a haven of excellent coffee, served with a gracious smile abd care. The line was a few people deep out the door but this cafe takes its own time with customers - treating everyone as they wish to be treated. A real novelty these days. Will be returning, no doubt!

Best coffee you can find in Uppsala! Superkind baristas that can talk for ages about coffee!!! Edit: This is the best place for coffee in Sweden. Sure, you can have good cup of coffee in Stockholm etc too, but they don't have as kind, welcoming atmosphere. Too bad they don't have more seatings. People that come here fore coffee are super friendly too and you can almost talk to random stranger which is not happening so often in Sweden otherwise.

This is where my income disappears every month, if not because of the fantastic pour over, then because of the many interesting conversations you can strike with other patrons. Yes, this place is so great it even makes the Swedes talkative. The rulltårta is about the best I’ve had in Sweden. Unfortunately they don’t make it anymore these days... which makes no sense for me to mention it here but I gotta put it out there ‘cos it was that great. Anyway you will surely find other great treats on offer. Highly recommend the biskvi.

Dropped in for some coffee that has been roasted in Uppsala! Small cozy shop! Magnificent cappuccino even to go! Had some unbelievably tasty filter coffee yesterday accompanied by som laophraig truffles... to die for! The owner even speaks German way beyond my command of Swedish.

Very good specialty coffee! Usually they have a couple of options for espresso beans. Also they have a nice selection of coffee beans to buy - they can grind it for you

Hands down best coffee shop in Uppsala! Unfortunately the only specialty coffee shop I could find, the concept, the staff, the selection of coffee and everything else I could possibly wish for is truly amazing. A very small but incredibly welcoming place, where you become part of a little family of coffee nerds in Uppsala

I really love their kaffè latte, although is a bit more expensive than others. I think it's worth it, coz they use better coffee beans and equipment, could definitely know the difference!

Haven't had a coffee this good in years! Really flavourful and fruity. The cafe also accommodates coffee drinkers with different preferences as there are 3 coffee beans available to choose from. Barista (probably owner) was friendly and seemed passionate about his stuff. Loved the visit, thank you! <3

Best espresso in town, full of flavor, and still balanced. Very much to the style of the ideal enlightenment coffee shop. Small in size, perhaps, but best.

Welcoming and experienced barista, lovely ambiance and the coffee and treats were amazing - prepared with such care. Would recommend to all those going to Uppsala to drop by for a coffee break.
