I visited this place last weekend. The atmosphere is cozy. The managers are friendly. Food is good. A+ for the pulled pork and the fries. The ribs had too much fat and needed a bit more crisp. Coleslaw needs a bit of sugar but was good. The homemade sauce are really good! Prices are nice. So overall 4.5 stars. Recommended.

I wanted to eat meat tonight and came across this place on google search. I have to say it was totally worth it. I ordered a steak, which was cooked in rare but totally not grossly bloody at all. And the chimichurri sauce that comes with it was amazing. The Mac and cheese was sooo creamy and cheesy. The coleslaw was so healthy and good as well. And the price was not bad at all! Totally worth for a nice dinner during your trip!

This restaurant is something of a surprise , serving slow cooked pulled pork and ribs with cheddar fries or mac and cheese as sides , it not exactly a typical French eatery . What it is though is a fantastic place to enjoy brilliant comfort food . The staff are super friendly and helpful. It's also extremely good value , 2 aperitifs , 2 very filling mains and 2 beers came to €44.50 . In the centre of Bordeaux that's incredible value , well done Angels Smokehouse 👏

Very good BBQ smokehouse in the most unexpected of places. Very friendly owners, quality pulled pork, and fantastic Mac n’ Cheese. Definitely worth a visit. Merci beaucoup!

Staff was very kind and took the time to go through the menu. Cozy decor and great food. Ribs are tender and melt in your mouth. Fries and amazing as well.

We were touring around and saw this inviting restaurant and my husband said “I would love some pulled pork”. What a delicious lunch. His pork plate with coleslaw was super delicious and I had a lovely Caesar salad which was a generous portion. We sat outside which was fun to people watch and enjoy the beautiful day. The owner is a very nice man and we had a great visit. The wine was great also. We highly recommend you stop in here and try the delicious food. Thanks Charlie ‼️‼️

Really tasty meal here tonight. A great spot. We tried the chicken burger and the pulled pork burger and both were delicious. The chocolate mousse was outstanding and really good value for money.

Nice place, good food & very friendly people. The meals come with one accompany of your choice either rice/fried/coleslaw or mac & cheese. I asked if they can give me fried & coleslaw half/half, it was ok for him. Very rare service in france and really appreciated. Even the homemade sauces were tasty .. Highly recommanded 👍

If you are in the area, then make sure you visit. It's a perfect place to eat if you are looking for good food and a relaxing atmosphere where you can unwind with friends and family to enjoy a great meal. The food was fresh and very well made. The menu is all small to medium sized dishes, and the super helpful server guided us. Highly recommended. Must try.

Well, been there once, we had a really friendly waiter , super helpful, we don't even speak French, he was from the only ones during our journey that tried to help us with our order:) -Food was great, we had beef, pork ribs and chili veggies! -really warm place! Thanks guys!

The evening started out amazing. The ribs were absolutely fantastic, the duck and pulled pork very solid. After having those we had to try the pastrami sandwich. However what we got was a Turkey “pastrami” sandwich with no warning. I wouldn’t have ordered it if I knew they were out of beef and substituting Turkey. I was super excited about the crème brûlée but the sugar crust was not even halfway melted and the whole dinner fell flat. The service was good at first but then started taking forever due to too few staff. Still have to recommend this place but it could have been so much more !
