We had a fantastic time with Bordeaux Wine Trails tour and especially with our very friendly, kind and knowledgeable guide Yan. It felt like Yan went above and beyond, not only spoke to us about all the wineries but also about the history of the city as a whole. Yan even took the time to get to know us all individually and provide fun facts about wine in our country of origin. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone and would definitely go again.

I can't say enough about our experience with Bordeaux Wine Trails - from picking us up at lunch, to the beautiful vineyards and finally dropping us right off where we had booked for dinner, everything was planned perfectly. Huge shoutout to our guide Jonathan who was lovely and taught us about much more than just wine! We had such a great time and highly recommend to anyone visiting Bordeaux.

Such a beautiful tour! The bike tour is a must!! I e got the chance to take in the beautiful country side, learn a lot about the wine of Bordeaux, and tour the town all in one day. Our tour guide, Marie, was a perfect blend of information and fun. Highly suggest!!

Our company used Bordeaux Wine Trails to organise a trip away and we had an incredible time. We had 2 days full of tours, visits to vineyards and wine tasting. Everything was well thought out, we enjoyed all of the activities and everything was tailored to us! It was informative but great fun too. Thank you!

We had a fantastic time on our full day Graves & St Emillion tour today. Our guide/owner was a great host, he was super knowledgeable, very warm and entertaining. The tour was laid out very well and the hosts at the wineries were all welcoming. We learned a ton about the region’s grapes, wineries and wines. I highly recommend Bordeaux Wine Trails!

Fantastic experience! A real off the beaten track style tour. We learnt all the essentials of what there is to know about Bordeaux wine. Very helpful when we are selecting wines in the future. The picnic lunch was very delicious too.

Fantastic afternoon trip with Bordeaux Wine Trails. Our guide was great fun with endless knowledge of the vineyards and French history. We visited two chateau’s for wine tasting and learnt the different processes each one used. Highly recommend this trip, a lovely way to spend an afternoon in the French countryside

We had the most amazing time with Bordeaux Wine Trails. Clément our guide was incredible, so knowledge, so accommodating and an absolute pleasure to be with for a whole day. The tastings have clearly been very well chosen, the lunch is incredible and an outstanding selection of wines. Compared to other tour groups BWT is much smaller and intimate and the best value for money out there. We enquired very last minute and they sorted us out with a tour of graves and Saint Emilion within 24hrs. I cannot recommend them and Clément enough. If you're looking for a wine tour then book with these folks!

Wonderful wine tasting experience. The venue was perfect. The wines were delicious. I learned lots about the wine making regions around Bordeaux and our sommelier, Jon was super friendly, knowledgeable and professional. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Bordeaux.

We did the electrical bike tour and it was fantastic!!! From the lunch in a boutique chateau with fresh produce, the gorgeous wines and most importantly our tour guide who used to be a sommelier too. The bikes were brand new which made the trip even more enjoyable. I would recommend this bike tour to anyone looking for a bespoke and off the beaten track experience in Bordeaux vineyard. Merci !

We had a great time with Julie on the full day tour. She told us a lot of extra information about the proces of winemaking in the area, but also: some very helpful tips for diner and drinks in Bordeaux. We saw 3 amazing chateaux, plus stopped for about an hour and a half in St Emilion, where we visited the church and tried some brut de Bordeaux. Everything was very well organised, lunch was excellent and the other people in the group (in total we were with 5) were very nice too. We enjoyed it so much, that we decided to book another half day tour with them on Sundy, when Yan was our guide to the Medoc-area. He grew up there, so he told us a lot too. And made an extra stop at the Chateau Megaux, to just marvel at it. All and all: highly recommended! Both Julia and Yan were professional guides, told a lot and made this an experience to remember.

Yan was our tour guide for the Saint-Emillion half day wine tour and the entire afternoon was fantastic. Yan was a great tour guide, full of fun anecdotes and great information, and he was talkative in a good way where it felt like there were no dull moments! I would say that the tour was well well worth the price, and the wineries we visited were excellent and the people who showed us around were so kind.

We had a very nice wine tasting workshop in a lovely location in the center of Bordeaux. The host was very flexible to organize this workshop for a group of 15 people. The place, the wine and food pairing - everything was great. Special thanks to the wine specialist for the great experience!

I highly recommend Bordeaux Wine Trails. Guide/Driver- Our private driver and guide, Yan, was very professional and very knowledgeable. He easily navigated the narrow roads, and we felt very safe with him. He knew all about the region and winemaking. He cleverly kept us on schedule, but also made sure that we thoroughly enjoyed all the stops throughout the day long tour. Planning- I worked with Jon to plan the tour and he was incredibly responsive and attentive to my wants and needs for the tour. Everything was perfect! Quality of Vineyards selected- Perfect. Very authentic. No crowds. We received private tastings and tours.

We did a private tour of Medoc. Visited three contrasting winemakers and had a lovely lunch. Simple and pleasant. It was very informative and the guide was keen and knowledgeable. The company was very honest and open with what was being planned.

We had a wonderful experience with Clement on this afternoon tour. We visited two wineries and both were great. I especially loved the second, Château Paloumey. Adeline was very nice and introduced us to several great wines (with a case being shipped back home!). Highly recommend this tour.

This was such a great tour! Our guide, Clem, as well as the tour guide at the chateau, were both incredibly knowledgable but also engaging. I had a lot of fun, but left realizing I had also learned a lot about French wine. The small group size also made the experience more personable. I would highly recommend!

Such an amazing experience! The private tour is highly recommended. Thanks to Yan our guide and driver for the day, we got to get to know and love Bordeaux for its history, culture and most importantly its terroir 😉. We got to see a great range of chateaus, learn and taste a lot of great and unique wines. I would do it again in a heart beat!!

18 friends were visiting Bordeaux and we chose Bordeaux wine trails for a day amongst the wineries and we were not disappointed! Jonathan was a great guide, we got to visit 2 wineries, stopped for a 3 course lunch and then wandered around St Emilion old town. Plenty of water on the bus to balance out the wine. Highly recommended.

Highly recommend! My girlfriend & I booked an afternoon tour and had such a great time with our guide Clément. He was extremely informative and he taught us a lot about wine. We discovered amazing places and will never forget it!

We did a private full-day Saint Emilion tour and after getting picked up in a comfortable van at our B&B we got to visit 3 wineries in addition to wandering around the town of Saint Emilion and having lunch in the town. Our guide Clement was knowledgable, professional and the whole day was timed perfectly, we never felt rushed. We know A LOT about wine and wanted to really dig deep about Saint Emilion/Bordeaux wines so we could better pick out ones we'd like in the US and get as much of an overview as possible in a day and we felt we were able to get just that. The team was able to accommodate us last minute (under a week) and personalize the experience for us. Our favorite was being able to visit a small husband and wife winery and sample the wines with the owner. These are amazing experiences and touches that are a perk of booking a private tour.

We were a group of 12 ladies and we had 2 full fantastic days visiting the left and right bank of vineyards. Clement from Bordeaux Wine Trails guided us in an excellent way as he is knowledgeable, very friendly and service-minded. It was a couple of lovely days and we learned a lot about the Bordeaux region and its wine. Can highly recommend Clement @Bordeaux Wine Trails!

Incredible experience. Clem was very knowledgeable and it never felt like he was reading from a script. The tours are in small groups - ours had 5 people - and so you have plenty of opportunities to ask questions. We did the Medoc tour in which you go to a more traditional chateau to learn about the wine making process followed by a tasting. You then go to a more modern chateau for further tasting. We sat outside the terrace on a sunny day and shared a bottle between 5. This is a must do if you're going to Bordeaux and very good value!

Parfait! Jon the guide knew his stuff. We visited two small wineries which meant we got an intimate experience, Saint-Èmilion was beautiful and we tasted some great wines.

The e-bike tour of St. Emilion was really spectacular. The tour guide Johnathan, was very cool and helpful when needed. Our group enjoyed the ride, the weather, and the wine. A very fun way to spend a day among the vineyards.

Amazing tour from Marie! She was a super host and made the trip extremely interesting and enjoyable! She knew more about most of the wine than even the vineyard hosts!

Great experience with Bordeaux Wine Trails. Had a wonderful day trip to Saint Emillion & Graves through 3 wineries. Educational, fun and with excellent tour guide in Marie and the car taking us from place to place was really comfortable. Most importantly the wines we tasted were exceptional.

With only a couple of days in Bordeaux (and wanting to see as much of the wine production area as possible) we booked onto an afternoon tour of Saint-Émilion and Médoc on consecutive days - and both afternoons were excellent! The guides were both knowledgable and very personable, and the structure of each afternoon was perfect, offering a brief but very comprehensive introduction to both of the key areas.

We had a really nice experience visiting St Emilion and two estates. The group was quite small (8 people) which was perfect to ask questions. The second estate in particular (Clos des Abbesses) was lovely and we got to eat and drink with the wine producer himself. The tour was led by Elise who spoke excellent English and was really kind and forthcoming. Big bonus points for making the aperitif veggie-friendly! An easy 5/5.

We enjoyed every second of our tours with Bordeaux Wine Trails! From the start during booking to the end of our last tour, everyone was extremely helpful and responsive. We did 4 days or private tours. They offered suggestions of what to do and see during the booking process. They accommodated our gluten free needs as well. We enjoyed listening and talking to our hosts, Marie and Clement. Both were excellent hosts. An unforgettable experience! Do not hesitate to book with Bordeaux Wine Trails.

This was an ideal way to spend a day getting to know a few areas of the Bordeaux region with a knowledgeable and entertaining guide. Clement, a Bordeaux native, was friendly and obviously loves what he does, and he took every opportunity as we drove--from Bordeaux city to Pessac-Leognan then to Saint-Émilion to visit a total of three châteaux--to learn more about those in our group and tailor his comments toward our already existing wine knowledge. We also got to spend time walking around the tiny medieval village of Saint-Émilion and had a lovely surprise tasting there, as well. Lunch was delightful and filling, and I had plenty as a vegetarian (which I'd alerted them to ahead of time). We left with a lot more information than we already knew about wine in general and Bordeaux specifically, and Clement also offered wonderful recommendations for the rest of our stay in the city; if you're there on a Sunday morning, don't miss having oysters and white wine at Marché des Capucins--Clement says you're considered 50% French if you do that! I highly recommend this tour and would look for the opportunity to take any others offered by these guides if I'm ever fortunate enough to be back in the area.
