Restaurant is not up to the mark. If you compare price, service and quality definitely you will give 1 or 2 star. A very urgent need in improvement in cleanliness, quality and service (if they don't compromise with prices)

I visited the resort for lunch only, parking space is more than enough, washroom facility is also very nice and clean. Seating arrangement is ample but ambiance is not upto the mark . Tables wide and chairs are of unique style feel comfortable. Staff is nice but service is sometimes late. Food quality is nice and priced at reasonable rates.

From my childhood I have been visiting this place, very old and well build dhaba at indore road, the taste of the food served is delecious in old times, but now I don't enjoy the food the same way, we ordered a lot of things but nothing taste up to the mark except dal tadka, services sometimes are not up to the mark during weekends. Meghdoot really needs to work with this. Keeping that apart you could visit this place and enjoy natural garden view of the restaurant,with food.

The staff is very arrogant ...they make people fool when they check out...kindly donot prefer this hotel ever.. food is pathetic...lots of hidden charges are there...make sure clear everything before booking...

The behaviour of the new staff especially of Ravi Soni is abysmal. He behaves very rudely with customers and has a terrible attitude. Funnily, it however, does not stop him from asking for tips at the end of the meals. The resort has a large foot fall which has resulted in a "Khaana hai toh khaao, warna bhaad mein jaao" attitude of the staff. They work properly only when the owner is around.

The resort is situated at the prime location and well maintained. Quite spacious place. The manager is quite elegant and kind. Other staff members are also cooperative. I loved to spend my quality in this resort, especially the garden area. We can find peace in this resort. The surroundings are also well maintained and clean. Proper care of hygiene. The food quality was also good. All in all I had a great time there and recommend to all of you to visit there once, whenever you come to Ujjain

Awesome restaurant with highly appreciated services with affordable cost than what you want to do anything, is there available, mostly there staff's behaviour was so polite and humble.

Washroom exhaust is not working & smelling like gutter.After multiple follow up no solution. Room service is also pathetic.. Can’t recommend to anyone.

I was there to attend a marriage ceremony. Proper space was there. Only room needed more cleanliness. Room constructed were old so fittings in toilet and electronic fittings like TV etc was not working properly. Food provided was delicious and hygienic .Over all good.

I have been here multiple times. I stayed here and also attended evening parties. The stay is quite awesome here in terms of rooms and hospitality. Talking about Restaurent is little low as compared to their standard. Previous they seems to be best in terms of food but not these days as there are multiple better options for food in ujjain. Also I’d like to give feedback for their swimming pool. It is much much smaller and they don’t keep it clean. Only a spacious resort with good hospitality.

The look of the hotel is very nice, not every dish is above expectation but some dishes are absolutely good in taste. The taste of Paneer Handi is amazing, you must also try it here.

Pathetic experience. Very poor service and so is the food. Looking at prices you would expect some quality but no quality service or food is delivered. The waiters turn a deaf ear when you are ordering and they try to save as many visits to the table. The plates are not clean and they brought us food by taking a used plate from our table and bringing in it. Aal waiters seem to be roaming avoiding customers. Too much colour and chilli in food. The manager also is busy in day dreaming and pays no heed of a customer is calling for service.

Regret , meghdoot hotel, is not well maintained, not even basic cleanliness is observed, room, floor, bathroom, sofa Very dirty not cleaned even after multiple requests. Linen , towels, bedsheets nd pillow covers were very very dirty .Crockery was dirty in rooms as well as dining hall. Very unhygienic Ambience. Food was not even palatable. It is waste of time to stay in meghdoot hotel, if not improved, it may spoil your holidays, even u may fall sick.

For me Taste, Service and other things are secondary but the main issue is hygiene. Rats were roaming on plates in open area . Please don't visit if you are serious about your health

Very Good hotel for stay at Ujjain. It is located on Indore road. Rooms are very good and spacious. Complimentary Breakfast is included in room charge. Front desk manager is very much cooperative. Pure veg Punjabi dhaba is there serving very good food.

It was a great place ☺️. The Breakfast was average. Room service was very slow. We ordered a lemon drink and it was sour beyond imagination. The blankets were worn out a bit. The mattress was very soft. AC and shower was good. The bathroom was very high. The dinner was very good. Some items were a bit extra spicy.

Meghdoot Resort in Ujjain has consistently impressed us with its top-class food. We visit often, and each visit reaffirms our satisfaction. Worst experience. There was a big rat in the suite room at 1 am in the night..and no one responded properly till 3 am and the rat came on the bed and it was really very bad experience. At 3 am we were shifted in another room and were still charged for the suite room for the next day. They didnot even acknowledge the problem and said we cannot do anything if there was a rat...bear with rat. Very unprofessional Please donot stay there

This hotel is worst hotel in service, rooms are old with broken tiles, chair and bad service. They offer rooms for cheap to tour operators and don't care about customers. Despite bad reviews, receptionist said, people don't have any option in the city as they offer rooms for very cheap. Owner don't care about customers. In the city of Mahakal, this hotel is nothing but worst in Every manner.

Overall 4 starts because it was a really good resort and had really good rooms with timely service which I meant was cleaning they have to improve food service they deliver it too slowly and the location is a bit far from mahakal temple.

We were there for dinner and the taste of the food was just amazing. Even my toddlers who are choosy liked the food.

Was going to this hotel since last 21 years. Engineering life was started from this hotel. First ever freshers party and was the finest moment of life. Very nice place to visit along with good quality food. Excellent non-veg food and reasonably priced drinks, but the cleanliness and that extra suave for a 5 star rating just isn't there! Very good for a Desi eating/drinking experience though.

Food was not good even hated service, waited around 15 mins for chapatis . Location is pretty nice but the restaurant has high humidity. There's no air conditioner in the restaurant area . It's pretty expensive too if you compare with other restaurants.

Worst Place ever 😓(HONEST REVIEW) this hotel/resort seems to be costly and in Google it was showing 10thousand but when we contacted them they told a good price for the rooms, we reached ambience,enterance was amazing and we saw room it was not that much fine but okk after booking we got to know that rooms wash room doesn't have exaust fans and drainage pipe covers and then they told all rooms are same then we thought to checkout but they requested us not to checkout out we have luxury rooms so we will provide u that then we shifted there luxury rooms was okk okk . Actually property price was so Cathy that and this ace has small water park also so that's why all the rooms was booked then service was too late and many time they dint even complete there service also we asked them for water bottle no response then morning we saw pool but it was dirty they said cleaning will be after 2 hours so we didn't use the pool such a bad experience I would recommend that pay high if u want amenities and luxury or want descent then u will find many descent rooms under 800 also for staying.worst experience ever poor service

My personal experience was very poor when I ask for wifi they said that the wifi is off when the connection was still there and when we asked for coffe they said that the milk has curdled and when my father ask for coffee at the same time they said the milk was spilled and when my brother ask for coffe they said that one cat came and dranked the whole milk bla! bla! bla! And btw how can one cat drink the whole milk 😂😂😂 which was for the whole hotel they didn't get any other excuses 🤣

This is below average hotel. Cleaness is a issue there in rooms and swimming pool. Breakfast area is seems like cheep village wedding. Service is very slow in restorent and waters are not clear about what is ordered. I do not recommend and it is below average experience there.

The food tastes good but the service is not so good. I like the location where you can sit and relax and have some time with your family.if you order icecream especially venial flavour, i tell you they gonna give you the early stage of a milk like compound like what the hell bro,I didn't get satisfied by that, so if you wanted icecream make sure to order butterscotch cus it's little good.and here the staff are like do some argument and about the service, they give too late, and to there plate are not soo good some times they give unclean plates so it is recommended that you should be careful on checking plates and yeh, it's all I wanted to say🙂😣🤧

Rooms were worth 500 - 800 per night, Though not cleaned, but they charged ud 2500/- not cool😏 Breakfast was delecious though, but the main reason we chose this resort because ot had a swimming pool, but the condition of the pool was like a gutter, soo smelly water,

Good place but I think due to big Resort, poor service from staff...(I think also bcoz v went on thru travel services, so no or poor service provided)... Too much spacious... All in one place... Restaurant, hotel, swimming pool, kids garden...all available BUT POOR SERVICE... please improve it ASAP...

We were charged 2500/- per night whereas rooms were worth 500-800Rs. Shower, basin taps were running with minimum current (which was frustrating). We booked hotel as it had swimming pool but water was dirty so we didn't go.

There is a clean toilet with good parking, here breakfast, lunch, dinner, everything will be available here, try Makka ki Roti, Baingan ka Bharta, Bajra Roti Kadi Pakora.

We had taken our lunch here, I ordered dosa which was delicious which I was not expecting 😋. And also dal ,roti, 🍚 and buttermilk. Buttermilk was 😋

Property and location is good. Cleaning very poor. Service is very slow you need to ask 4 times for water in room. Room service not done even after asking for it. They lost my room key from reception and kept me waiting.

My family came here to eat at their restaurant thinking of it's good reputation and food but what we received was a cold bowl of soup, wrong orders coming at our table, 30-40 mins wait for our meal to come. The taste to the food can be considered good but the service is very bland. It does not proceeds it's reputation.

Hello guys this was one of my best experience into a city where I visited first time .... Trust me guys the ambience of the hotel is excellent , and the best part is you get one of the best food in town . Either veg or non veg.they have their own restuarant come dhaba come kahana khajana call Punjabi Dhaba . I would truly love to visit again to the same place and have food again . The owner of this place was very humble and cooperative in all the ways.

Nice experience in the recent stay here. Food quality is good. Cleanliness is ok. MP found much cleaner than some of the northern state cities.

Seriously the hotel service and the captain were really pathetic. The captain had no manners at all ,he was chewing pan while doing the service and was not at all attentive to serve us he was least bothered, we really had a bad experience here. Will recommend you all to never to visit this hotel.
