Food is amazing, the chef was very skilled and experienced. The view was very nice. The service was also good, they were nice. I would recommend eating here.

Beautiful restaurant in Maastricht! They serve breakfast & lunch. The atmosphere is good and the personnel is very friendly. The sandwiches are prepared freshly and are well seasoned. This is reflected in the taste. Apart from this their homemade lemonades are a must try! I ordered the homemade passionfruit limonade with sparkling water that was very delicious!

I really had the best eggs benedict for a breakfast in this place! The taste is just perfect! they make it super delicious and the food presentation is also great! My friend had croissant and another dish and she loved it so much. The place is cozy, you have to wait in a queue but when you try the food you figure out why :)

Lovely place to be. Passing by each table to get to my seat I can tell that no matter what I choose from the menu, I will be very happy. This is a good sign. Benedict and oat bowl where beautifully presented and incredibly tasty. Service was prompt and kind. Will definitely go back when I return to Maastricht.

Food was amazing here! We all got the sourdough bread, two with burrata and one with kimchi and avocado. The last one I would strongly recommend! Service was just fine and atmosphere was nice too. AND to whoever made that playlist, you have good music taste :)

Van Wijck in Maastricht bietet ein geniales Essen mit einer beeindruckenden Auswahl. Die Gerichte sind geschmacklich herausragend und die Präsentation ist liebevoll gestaltet. Das Personal ist freundlich und bemüht, könnte jedoch in puncto Effizienz und Aufmerksamkeit noch verbessert werden. Die Preise liegen etwas über dem Durchschnitt, aber die Qualität der Speisen rechtfertigt dies. Kurzum: Ein Besuch bei Van Wijck lohnt sich definitiv!

What a brunch! Super busy, but well worth the wait. All day breakfast is bonus. Delicious coffee with the best combo of poached eggs, smoked salmon, avocado and hollandaise on brioche.

Angesagtes Restaurant zum Frühstücken und Brunchen! Zwar zahlt man hier den einen oder anderen Euro mehr, aber dafür bekommt man einen super Service und wirklich toll angerichtete Speisen. Wir haben den Frühstücks Wrap, die Frühstücks Platte, einen Joghurt und Pancakes bestellt. Alles war lecker, jeder war sehr zufrieden.

One of the best breakfast places in Maastricht. Stylish, cozy interior with lots of glass and a view of a inner city crossroads. The menu is original for the town, like lots of different pancakes. Ingredients seem very fresh, it's prepared in an open kitchen, all tastes very pleasant. Recently sandwiches and pastries got even better. Heartily recommend!

We waited for our order 30 min. The restaurant was not even half full of people. Then, we got notified that out order magically turned out to be in the bottom of all orders. We had to wait 20 more minutes. Photo shows our empty table. Not recommended. Update after getting our dishes: Taste was average and one of our orders was not even served as how we requested it.

Very busy on a Sunday morning and people waiting at the door. I quite like the American pancake! Sweet but too sweet for Asian standard. The winter spiced latte is good but on the sweet side. (A bit too sweet in combination with the pancake. ) They also have a kimchi sandwich, which is apparently a signature in their shop.

Had a wonderful breakfast with my family here, we ordered a breakfast wrap, egg Benedict, Hartig pancakes, and banana bread. The portions were generous, love the egg Benedict the most, we also had coffee and matcha which was delicious!

The food was amazing. And the staff was very friendly. I got the eggs on toast with bacon and it was done quite well. Just enough runny in the egg to give a slight bit of yoke to add to the flavor of the bread. And the bread was toasted well. Definitely worth the price and will come back. Also doesn't hurt they're open at 8 😂

Very nice food but the drinks were sadly not good. The cold brew was very watery and did not taste like coffee at all.

What a lovely café here in Maastricht! Very friendly service, cosy atmosphere (not too loud), and very good food. I was not a particular fan of the coffee (was still okay though), but I absolutely loved the food.The plating was gorgeous and the ingredients were fresh. The sourdough bread was particularly tasty.

I'm definitely coming back here. Great place for breakfast or lunch. Atmosphere is good, staff is friendly and the food is delicious. All though the place is constantly full, no real need to make reservations.

Pancakes are good. Coffee is okay. Staff are friendly. But sadly I think the scrambled eggs are overcooked and the bread a bit too hard.

I have been there 3 times. The food is good, the space is cosy. I always had the breakfast which is very tasty. I visited there April 4th 2022 and really felt the customer interaction of many of the staff offputting. They seem unmanaged and mostly interested in talking to each other or staring at Insta. The service in general was so so, with a good helping of attitude. I still recommend it, but hope they sort that out.
