An excellent restaurant to go. Good portion of the food for a fair price. Friendly staff. Nice view

Great location. Good service. Really good estensive cocktail menu. Food and snacks menu is standard, but everything we had was well cooked and served. Had a great experience overall.

Modern, open bar/restaurant. Audience is international students, but food and drinks are of high quality. Music is upbeat. After 20:00 changing slowly into a bar. Great view of Maastricht.

The cocktail maker was very friendly and the setting is for sure nice. However the other staff is in my opinion pretty rude and arrogant. We were at the bar and ordered all a drink and then were told after a minute to move away if a bigger group came while honestly the place was not busy at all for the whole night. Then while being seated we were told that it a bigger group came we would have to move again. Heard the same story from other friends that have been to the place.

Food was late, calling the manager who was only against us and being arrogant did not help customer satisfaction. Go somewhere else if you appreciate good restaurant manners and a friendly customer service. If you want to feel dismissed and humiliated for complaining about thir food being late then visit Bold bar ,

Good view. Very windy sometimes. Beer selection somehow limited. Good selection of cocktails: go for the Hablamos Manager, Yuzu Haiku. Both not on the current menu I am afraid. The brioche and the pad Thai are a nice snack to share.

Went with some friends, a shame that food is served by specific hours (lunch ××h-××h), but the small plates were amazing to share and the flavor was a strong suit. The rooftop view is great. Drinks are great too. Prices are kinda high but worth it for the cosy, upscale experience. The interior design is also to note, great vibes. Service was good, but sometimes hard to reach. Recommended highly.

Die Rooftop Bar hat natürlich einem tollen Ausblick über Maastricht. Es gibt einige Plätze entlang der Fensterwand sowie einen Außenbereich um den Ausblick auch genießen zu können. Das Essen und die Cocktails waren gut, wenn auch etwas teuer. Der Service war zudem sehr angenehm und immer zur Stelle.

Food was good, lots of options for me as a vegetarian. As a starter I had carpaccio made from oyster mushroom. As a main I had the curry with tofu, which tasted a bit plain. Cocktails were great, their originals are a hit, I had the square pants and that one tasted great!

Went for couple of drinks. Concerning the Moscow Mule and Maastricht mule, I would rate it for 3 out of 5. Don’t exactly know what was wrong…I would say maybe not enough ginger beer or vodka. Prices are fair, like everywhere in the city.

Service war einfach schlecht. Wenn die Bedienung (männlich ) sich natürlich lieber um drei junge Frauen beschäftigt, habe ich als Mann Verständnis. Als Kunde mit Frau eher nicht. Richtig arrogant wird es dann, wenn Winken und Rufen zwar gesehen, aber ignoriert wird. Am Ende war’s ein einmaliger Besuch…

The location is great, it's really cool to see the city from the rooftop. The rooftop/terrace is quite small, and it gets busy in it evening so definitely book in advance. The staff are very nice and do a good job at not making you wait too long! Good selection of cocktails and other drinks. Really enjoyed the 'Time to Travel' cocktail. Only downside for me is that the food is overpriced for what you get.

I’ve visited Bold on many occasions and their selection of foods and drinks especially, are always top notch. I highly recommend Bold to anyone who enjoys good food, drinks, and a lovely view of Maastricht. I would have given 5 stars for the service, as the staff there are always friendly and chats with you. However, the last time I visited we got a quite rude waitress seeming impatient and gave a rude comment when taking our drink order and would walk away after taken 1 drink order out of 4. Regardless my experience has always been nice at Bold and so it won’t stop me from visiting again

Unique venue in a historic, industrial setting with great view over Maastricht. Good quality food, but be prepared for on higher than average prices.

The place is nice for the vibes, food is quite good, including desserts. Cocktails are diluted, the service is super slow and uninterested in customers even when the restaurant is not busy. Overall, it is fine for some tapas and wine/beer, but not a place “not to miss” in the city.

Hard to find place, but the views and cocktails are worth the effort. To get to this rooftop bar, you actually have to walk into the student hotel and take the elevator. It's worth the effort though, the view of gentrified industrial heritage and the river is very nice, and there is a great selection of cocktails, served elegantly. A real 'hidden gem'.

Went here with a few friends, the atmosphere was great & we loved the cocktails. The service was great and we had a good time. Unfortunately, the food was a bit disappointing. I had a falafel burger and it was somewhat dry, but my friends all loved their food (Curry & a salad) so it was probably just an exception. Would still recommend going here!!

In a central and secluded location, this bar has nice views with a cool atmosphere. We have been there for a reception. The service was great and the food was also good. The red wines we tasted, especially primitivo, are really good ones. It is a high-class place, but I found the menu prices reasonable for food.

Very bad customer service! Bad service and bad food!!!! I never write a review, but since the shop really was that bad, I want to save other people from having their own bad experiences. The food tastes really bad. We were also brought the wrong cocktails, which of course can always happen. But when we informed the waiter that we had ordered something elsep, they argued with us instead of being accommodating. Very bad service and place!

The rendang and parmesan fries are the best! Always coming back for those fries! :) However, sometimes the staff comes off as rude and the menu is overpriced.

It could be nice but they have such a bad management You can't book the table so you will always need to wait You can't split the bill... How can you expect tnat one person pays for like 12 people?! Not coming back

This is a 10 minute from the vrijthof square, walk past the pathe cinema. It's on the 8th floor of the student hotel, good staff friendly and a good selection of beer's. The views from the top are lovely.

Great location and view. The actual running of the place, menu selection, billing and service have a lot of room for improvement. Service very slow. Poor beer selection. Not much room for non-diners. Unable to create separate tickets or split payments.
