One of the best menus I have ever eaten, and I am a total foodie! :-) For sure the best value you will get in competitive Maastricht which shows that the passion of a compassionate couple with huge domain knowledge and a lust for experimentation is key to excellence!!

On our first day of our city trip in Maastricht , after checking in to our hotel we had diner ar Le Bon Choix. It was a nice experience, but we have to say that the attention of the owners was a little overwhelming. The atmosphere was very nice and the restaurant was very clean. The quality of my food was perfect, but my vegetarian wife was a little disappointed. The rice with vegetables was covered with pepper sauce, and that is not exactly her taste. Overall we think Le Bon Choix deserves four stars. René & Menekşe.

It was an absolutely perfect meal. Friendly and passionate family-run restaurant. The steak here was the best I had in Europe. Also recommend the apéritif which was a vodka tonic. Will most certainly be returning!

A cozy place with great meat options and some delicious Polish dishes with a twist. The hosts are extremely friendly and it was great to get some information about the dishes from the chef himself.

The love for food in this place was very much tangible. I loved also the Polish inspirations. The steak was probably one of the best steaks I have eaten in my whole life - perfectly prepared medium rare. The owners are very friendly, talkative, sharing their opinions on food and passion for experimentation in the kitchen.

It was delicious! One of the best places to enjoy a meal in the city. The place is intimate, ideal for special occasions. The prices are on-par with the quality of the food and the care of the service provided. Will come back for sure.

This family-run restaurant has one of the best meat dishes you can find around, possibly the best in Maastricht. The dishes, both meat and fish-based, have a distinctive touch and you’ll find here a unique culinary style, which is explained with pride by the owner.

🤩 We had an excellent evening pleasantly surprised by all the dishes recommended by the enthusiastic chef! The whole dinner took a while as it seemed that the whole restaurant was run and serviced by two staff including the chef himself, but it was definitely worth the experience. If you are thinking of having dinner at this place, don’t think twice - it is NOT another typical french 3-course dinner but full of surprises. We can’t wait to be back in Maastricht for another visit to this gem!

Excellent service, tasty food and relaxing atmosphere. We passed almost three pleasant hours enjoying our meal while sitting on comfy chairs. Good job by this couple, one in the kitchen but still available to explain his nice recipes with humor and the other humbly serving with a smile
