Our order took 90min to arrive , and when it did, despite us living a 10min bike ride from the restaurant, the burger and the fries were very soggy. The fries were completely sogged in oil and stuck to each other in the bag, which made them impossible to eat. When we called to ask about the order, the restaurant assured us that the problem was with the delivery not them and refused to take any responsibilty, yet the food did not live up to the expectation.

I really would not recommend anyone to go to this restaurant. We went around dinner time (17:00) and even though the restaurant was pretty empty (4 customers) we had to wait 2 hours for a simple burger and fries. The service is unfortunately also not good. I asked about our order multiple times and did not get an update. The servers would not come to the table to apologise that the order is delayed. Most of the time you could see the servers on their phone behind the bar not paying any attention to the customers. When the food arrived after waiting that long it was soo disappointing. The meat of the burger was not cooked in the middle. The potatoes came way later then the burger. We complained about the burger being raw but were told we had to wait a long time again to get them switched out. Even getting the attention of the waiter to pay the bill took long. The waiters were inattentive. Additionally the kitchen staff would come out and sit and smoke next to customers making people uncomfortable. I would not recommend this place at all. Please do not waste your money here there are way better places to eat at in Maastricht.

We had the Wagyuburger and the Black Tiger Burger. From the bun to the fries and truffle mayonnaise, everything was delicious. I only found the portion of fries smaller than we normally get. But not even that is a negative point. We will definitely be back sometime.

Nice hamburger restaurant with a small but tasty selection of burgers. Prices are reasonable and staff is friendly and helpful. Would go again.

Great quick service burger with great cocktails but even better service. Super friendly and helpful staff. Many choices for burger types including many vegetarian options. I had the classic burger with frites and both were really good. Nice people watching from the small outdoor patio. Recommended.

Had a very nice and huge classic burger. The three mini burgers are with beef, pulled pork and salmon. Vega burger was also very good. Cole slaw was a bit too fat for my taste. Very nice atmosphere though and nice people.

This is an amazing place if you want to get a great burger and some good beer, with an incredible atmosphere. The staff is friendly and attendant, and service is quick. The burgers are great, I especially liked the idea of the three burgers on one plate. Overall, great restaurant. Definitely coming back when I'm in Maastricht again.

The best vegan burger I have ever had! I ordered the one with wasabi and it was incredible! The service was good and the restaurant was cute. The team work between the staff was great to witness! I would definitely go back!

Excellent burgers we had between us the Beef , Lamb and the Beyond for myself all 3 were classed 5 star and the beef my son had was the best meat in a burger he had tasted , Yum! The cocktails were excellent and refreshing. The 3 bitterballen were a delicious surprise,cheese, beef and prawn. Followed up with a Vegan tiramisu all in all excellent , the service was on par and the kitchen prompt even though the restaurant was full .

The best non-beef burger I ever had in my life!! You must try the sojaburger! Absolutely love the innovative burger options and the details. I was so pleasantly surprised by how delicious it was, I almost ordered a second. Service was also very friendly, and the location is perfect. Definitely will be returning to try some more of the delicious veg options.

Disappointingly slow. It took them 1 hour to bring fries and a jacket potato - and the rest of our food to a table of 2. Cooking staff doesn't know how to prioritize, and only kept attending the same 2 large tables. It's not hard to make burgers, and it's not hard to at least remove drink glasses that have been empty for 45 minutes off the table. Burgers were OK, quite small for the price. Waitresses and waiters were nice.

The decor is lovely and rustical. The waitresses were very nice and took good care of us, frequently checking in on my group and asking if we needed anything. Since we were a rather large group, we did have to wait a while for our food to come, which was around 45 minutes after ordering. If that's normal for this group size or if that's the usual waiting time is not something i can comment on. The burgers themselves were tasty. The vegan options were also very nice and something I can only recommend to other vegetarians and vegans! But, it was noticeable that the burgers had to wait a while, as they were cold on the outside. Which was a bummer since the buns were also kind of dry because of that. The burgers also came on really big plates, even though they did not take up a lot of space, which kind of threw me off the loop. They could have at least put the extra ordered sides on it. The side portions of fries were good, though, but along with the burgers, it was kind of small for the price. I've eaten better burgers for less money, definitely. The baked potato I ordered was tasty and a good size considering the 4.50€ I spent on it. Though the sour cream sauce was rather watery, not thick at all, and also kind of tasteless. I wouldn't buy it on the side, as it's not worth the 1€ in my opinion. Stick with the safe sauce-options.

Food is very delicious. Strongly recommend their classic burger and squid burger. Staffs are really friendly and nice, but they are definitely short in ppl. Always need to wait for a long time before order getting taken and very long time (over an hour) to get your food after ordering. A nice cozy little place.

Really great place! They had plenty of vegan burger options and even multiple vegan desserts. I’d recommend the tempeh burger, you’ve gotta try it! I had never had tempeh before and it was simply amazing. Staff was really kind as well.

We really enjoyed the burgers and trufle mayo but the service needs some improvement. We sat in one of the two outside tables and waited around 10 minutes to be noticed. The waiter was polite but got only half of the previous customers' leftovers when he left. When ordering we have asked for two Apperol Spritz to enjoy before our burgers but we received them 15 minutes later (when also the rest of the previous customers' leftovers were collected) and only 2-3 minutes minutes before the burgers arrived for which we have also ordered two beers... so our drinks collided... We got served our burgers and fries without forks/knives and napkins, and my wife had to go and ask for them as generally nobody came to see if the only two tables outside needed something. Will visit again as the burgers are delicious and hope the service will have improved.

I don’t really understand how is it possible that this place has good reviews, because our experience was not good at all... We had to wait 1 hour for 2 basic and plain burgers, nothing special. The quality of the meat of “Rossini burger” was really bad, super well done and dry. On top of that, when we had to pay, they were asking us what did we eat… To be honest, you still have so much work to do

Burgerlijk was one of those restaurants I fell in love with during my student time. I came back now after a long time and really felt like things have changed. The burgers just don’t taste as good anymore…

Horrible burgers. All of them are the same, except the sous. The meat is all the same even though there are multiple types of burgers that you can have. The meat is cheap and has the type of flavor which is typically's frozen meat from supermarkets. The buns are dry and old from the supermarket, not homemade. This burger house is very disappointing. I had only one bite from the burger, immediately start vomiting feeling.

The food was great and the service was friendly. We took the gluten-free bun and the vegan burger, and they were very good. They have a gluten-free vegan (out of almond milk) cheese cake that was super good! My Italian friends loved it!

Stylish location, friendly customer service, but below mediocre food. We should have trusted our first impression when our noses were hit by the stench of old frying fat filling up the room. The buns were good. The patties, however, were tasteless and overcooked (not sure if these were convenience products, but they sure tasted like it). The small side of coleslaw lacked both salt and acidity. The fries, too, lacked salt, were wobbly and undercooked. We left the place disappointed and wondered how this self-proclaimed burger specialist can be content with its own product. Not sure what others see in this spot, there sure are better ones around. 2 stars are generous.

Soo good! Ordered the vegan tempeh burger and vegan tiramisu for dessert and both are highly recommended. Do not miss out on this place when you're in Maastricht.

We enjoyed the wagyu flavored beef burger and kalfsburger with a slice of cheesecake as a dessert. We ordered the fries as a side and the mayonnaise sauce as a side. The burgers were DELICIOUS, really great with thick patties. There was a large variety of burgers as well as veggies options and the beyond burger was on the menu too. The waitress was really nice and friendly.

The burger was overcooked. The restaurant was under smoke. The meat was regularly market-type. We ordered a burger with ham and cheese however there was no visible ham or cheese inside the burger, indeed the price was charged for extras. The only good thing was the friendliness of the personnel. A lot of disappointment… over-rated.

An amazing experiance combined of delicious food combinations and great service. If you want to have a diffrent/HIP burger this is THE place. Their fries are the perfect match to your burger and almost everything is home made. We couldnt get enough. I specially requested to have a sweet cocktail and they made the beat gin tonic ever!

The burgers are amazing and unique! They have many gluten free options with a great gluten free bun for the burgers. They had a wonderful gluten free and dairy free cheesecake that they were just introducing. I try to eat here at least once each time I visit Maastricht!

Their burgers are amazing especially the wagyu burger! Full of flavor, and melts in your mouth.
