Unique service and quality. What an amazing place! There is no menu, the Chef will let you know what they have that day and will ask for any diet allergies or dislikes.

The name "cucina casalinga" means homemade style food. And this is what you get. If you are interest in some simple Italian dishes, this is a good place. To me, I'm Italian, it seems too simple. Those are the dishes that I usually cook for myself at home. If I go to a restaurant, I'd like to try something special that I cannot get at home. You are also limited to the menus of the day, but generally the food is good. What I do not understand, it's the weird way of serving the dishes. It's a mess. All waitresses and the cook come to the table with big plates and they serve everyone at the same time. Why not just bringing the dishes already filled as in any other restaurant. Should this be something special? Sure it's not the Italian style, not even at home.

The food is excellent but my last visit was a disappointment - when we walked in, I was asked by the hostess to make a reservation, although the restaurant does not take any. As was confirmed when I called them.

no menu and especially no price displayed. which gives the addition a black label whiskey at € 12.50 is 3 times the price of any restaurant in Maastricht. When asked if there was any mistake the old waitress kicked us out and told us not to come back. do not worry Madam we will not be back

Very good Italian restaurant at the Vrijthof. There is no large menu, instead there was a selection of two different starters and three different main courses (lamb, beef and seafood). All dishes were appealingly presented, and nicely seasoned. Meat was perfectly to the point. Service was attentive and entertaining without being intrusive. Price is definitely adequate (around 40€ for 3 courses). In summary a very good restraurant at a very beautiful location.

Great food! A bit more expensive than usual (approx 80 EUR per person) but you get a lot of value for the prize!

We didnt know this before we decided to eat here but they don't have a menu for you to choose from (you can only pick between meat and fish dishes) and they bring you a set amount of courses. Food was very delicious but it was too much for us quantity-wise. That's why we thought it was a shame we couldn't decide more actively what to order. It was also relatively expensive.

Way too expensive. No menu, no prices. 55€ for the menu (1 cold entrance, 1 plate). GO AWAY.
