Very cool experience. The ramen was lacking a bit flavour-wise, but I still enjoyed it. The steak was delicious, perfectly cooked, and of course it came still sizzling on a hot stone plate. I missed out on the little robot that brings your order, so I'm hoping to get a table where the robot can deliver next time.

We’ve been going here sporadically since before the covid started. Food is delicious, and the portions are huge, and that reflects in a fair price. Service is friendly and fast, even when it’s very busy. Mostly we just take a plate of Sushi and one the main platters for 2 normal sized portion eating people. Mixed drinks are cheap, and the fresh cold teas are highly recommended. It’s also funny and interesting to see the 2 robot servers in action.

Very nice place to dine in. Quick service! Innovative as you see robots serving. The food tastes amazing and the staff are friendly. Prices are reasonable.

We've been here for the second time, amazing. We love the food, so many delicious choices. And for those who need it, since last time they added some more vegetarian dishes. Easy ordering through their own app, drinks and food are super fast on the table. I still struggle to get used to the "unpersonal" style with application ordering and robot servers. But I guess that's part of the concept and it didn't harm the experience.

Always a pleasure to eat here. I prefer the Kerkrade one because is bigger and nice. But I love their food everywhere hehehehe definitely one of the best. Super fast service, good quality and nice ambience. The fries was absolutely terrible this time

Surprisingly good! It’s a big place, bit anonymous but the benefit is that even on a busy night you can just walk in without a reservation. You order food via your phone (scan QR code) and literally within minutes your food is brought to your table (if you’re lucky the robot will bring it). Food is really good and really (really) a lot. BUT go here to eat Asian food. Don’t order burgers because BK makes better burgers then this place. Staff is friendly but most don’t speak Dutch. Go here for cheap, delicious and fast food (not fastfood!). Don’t go here if you want to have a nice long evening.

Food is served super quickly, the crispy chicken was amazing. The burger was a bit meh, next time I'll get something else. The ice tea was probably the best one I ever had, peach was better than lemon. Waiters are kind. Will definitely go again!

Because of the lockdown, didn’t get to dine in so decided to try the takeaway. Price was about 7 euros for rice/ noodle box. Had the gongbao beef and Thai chicken. Portion wise, both were big for the price. Generous amount of meat and vegetable. Tastes great as well but definitely not 100% authentic flavours. The chicken wings however, well fried and tender! Definitely worth a go if you’re around the area !

I loved this place. It was recommended to me by a friend. Absolutely love the food. Fresh and so good!! I had a salmon poke bowl and vegetarian spring rolls. The service was so friendly and so quick. Will definitely visit again!

This is such a neat place! You would never guess that this interesting restaurant is inside when you walk by it on the streets. The food is flavorful and beautiful. Very delicious Japanese food, including steak and salmon and chicken plates. I love the "robots" that deliver your food and drinks straight to your table!! You can order the traditional way with a waiter/waitress or by scanning the code at the table. Service is VERY quick even when all of the tables are occupied. Many of the servers are college students and they are energetic, friendly, accurate, and efficient. If requested, staff will sing HAPPY BIRTHDAY if celebrating a birthday.

I went ate here for the first time yesterday and I was BLOWN AWAY ! Food was bomb, I had the vegan chicken poké Bowl and I was not disappointed!!!! Never tasted such good vegan chicken - price was okay, it filled me up pretty good. My friend and I also took a sushi roll for both of us and that really hit the spot. I was in a food coma. I was just happy that the robot actually served us the food:D Only negative thing was that it was so cold in there 😭 I was freezing!

With high expectations I went to have some early dinner, were greeted nicely and very welcoming waiters. However, the food we ordered was really not good. I ordered the Rumpsteak with fries, and the meat did not taste good at all, the texture was really weird and tbh i think the fact that it came out couple minutes after we ordered means that it must have not been prepared as freshly as i expected. But of course the Rumpsteak costs only 18 euros, so don't expect too much We also had the ramen, also here you cannot expect a good broth, noodles were okay but again flavor was bland. Coming from Germany , dadawan is a little bit like the Asian "Extrablatt" , with quite cool presentation of the dishes , but based on the food quality i cannot recommend it. For good authentic asian cuisine i would recommend the restaurant wen chow next to it :)

Well spent money on food that are not only good quality but appetizing as well. We had fun "interacting" with the robot today and my daughter enjoyed her go to dessert - chocolate lava cake!

Great food, service and prices. It is a must place if you are in Maastricht. We had sushi and ramstek. The service was super quick even though the restaurant was full.

Good food, quick service and very friendly staff. I had the chicken sate stone bowl and it was very good. And the portions are very generous! Overall the price vs quantity is very good and the menu is fresh and interesting.

After reading all the wonderful reviews we decided to give it a try. The ordering is via QR code and online. We ordered shrimp stone bowl and chicken hot plate. The chicken hot plate was yummy. Served sizzling hot, highly recommended. A little disappointed with the shrimp stone bowl. When it first came it was sizzling but we informed it was the wrong order as we were given chicken. They changed for us immediately but but it returned with the correct order it wasn't sizing any more. My humble advice to the diners is not to order the extra sauce, as we did and it was left untouch as the one that came with it was sufficient. We did another mistake was to pour all the gochujang into the rice and mixed. It was too much sauce and all we taste was it. What is applauding was the staff. Their smile and service attitude are excellent. They are helpful and friendly and take pride in serving you. Dadawan actually means Big Big Bowl in Chinese, and this restaurant lives up to its name! Food portion is huge! It is really satisfying and sufficient. They make sure you are full before you step out of the restaurant.

Good food for good prices. If you want to have a nice dinner or lunch with your friends, this is the place to go in Maastricht. The staff is friendly as well and I never waited more than 10 minutes for my food. I definitely recommend this.

Delicious, fresh and futuristic restaurant, with robo waiters and amazing hot bowls and hot plates. The portions of the food were HUGE and the seating really comfortable and big. Very friendly (human) service also :-) 5/5 recommend, great experience!

It’s just a Wonderful place with really nice food, environment and location. I will continue to go. My low reputation is because they refuse to serve me a glass of water from the tap or their fresh water (something much better for the environment) that ordering a glass or plastic bottle that it’s put in your glass.

Always have a great experience at Dadawan, either for take aways or dining in. It is one of the best places where a competitive price does not preclude a very good quality of the food.

Fenomenal food in a wonderful atmosphere; gonna visit again

I had the stone beef bowl and it was okay. I wasn’t allowed to eat inside due to Covid which was fine but I expected it to be good. It turned out bland, especially the beef and the sauce was unflavoured. The portion was good and fair but the flavour could’ve been better.

Pretty good place with tasty food and reasonable portion sizes. I eat quite a bit and even then I had some leftovers, which is pretty surprising. Other than that, I might be wrong, but I think the place is exclusively meant for takeaway food. I was looking for a place to sit, so it wasn’t ideal for me.
