The burgers are pretty good. But it's a tough competition in maastricht when you have to compare to Burgerlijk. Nonetheless, the burgers are definitely better than most places. Fries where disappointing though, they were cut to thinly, thus making then dry, would recommend the garlic fries over the sweet potatoes. Worth the visit, but I prefer Burgerlijk

The perfect crime does not exist... The perfect hamburger either obviously. This one (the bad hombre) was "only good", not tasty despite the mix of ingredients. Fries ? Uuuuh, let's move on... The Oreos shake could have tasted a little less chocolate, too bad... Congratulations to the cook / server for his sympathy.

On the plus side: staff was very friendly and fries were really good. On the negative side: the place is very small, if you want to sit comfortably and enjoy a long dinner, that’s probably not gonna happen because you will feel bad people are standing and you eat fast and leave, that is, if you find a table yourself. The smell of food and grease was really strong. The burgers were not very good, they were decent but nothing special at all. A pitty but we won’t come back.

Update:We went for my birthday another time. They ran out of burger buns.... In a burger place. Really big disappointment.... They just wrapped it in salad and made us pay full price. I really liked them after the first time and recommended to other people but now have to switch my standpoint. First time: Great food, quality is amazing side things are a bit on the pricey side but the burger itself is not. The staff was friendly and the food was quickly arranged even though everything tasted really nice and fresh. The portions where exactly on point for me. You can park your bike at the icl and there is some paid parking nearby. The place itself looks very good and they have a open kitchen witch is always a plus IMO. Would recommend going here for sure.

One of the best burgers I had. Great bun with super crispy bacon and aged cheddar cheese, the burger itself was high quality angus beef and was cooked to perfection. Homemade delicious fries. I will definitely return to have another one!

If I was rating their food alone, I would give 5 stars. As an American, I approve of these burgers- juicy, lots of good toppings, and a great bun. However, there are a few things that disappoint me. One- I always call in my order and the connection/quality of the call is awful. Very difficult to understand them and really scratchy. Two- the younger girl that works there needs help speaking to customers. She's not friendly and often gets our order wrong. And when the food isn't cheap, that gets old fast. Three- no prices on their "menu" online (so I'll be posting the most recent menu so we can all look at the prices). I understand that quality products costs more money, which is why we keep coming back. However, it's never cool to conceal prices no matter what you're selling, but especially when it's not cheap and when it's located in a student city. The total price shouldn't be a surprise when a student pays the bill. Fourth and final point- no need to try and keep selling products when I'm done telling you my order. I understand asking if people want anything else to make sure they're done ordering, but no need to ask if I want fries, and then ask if I want a drink. If I wanted fries or a drink I'd tell you. All that being said, I'll keep tolerating these things because I love a good burger, and the owner is a really nice guy. I'll also be happy to update my review when some of these issues are addressed.

GRRREAT! it was all good. We had the firebird and the original with jalapeno and bacon. 👌some fries and onion rings to go with that. fries are nice and fat. (not mcdo thin) and the onion rings are some of the best we ever had. crunchy outside, juicy onion inside. Ad some nice sauces and this was streetfood burger heaven cooked to perfection.

If you are a Burgers lovers you cannot miss this place. Nice experience, we were looking for a wagyu burger and we find this place. Nice concept and nice staff. The quality is high and the place is clean and tidy. I really enjoyed my burger and fries. I definitely recommend it.

Pretty basic setup in the burger restaurant itself (it feels more like a bistro) but the burgers are super delicious! Best is to eat them fresh there, but delivery is also possible and quite good. Can only endorse them as they are one of the best burger places in Maastricht.

Patty n Bun, a renowned burger joint in the Netherlands, offers an unparalleled dining experience that has left an indelible mark on my culinary journey. Their signature dish, the Hangover Burger, coupled with garlic fries, is a gastronomic marvel. The Hangover Burger, a masterful blend of juicy, perfectly cooked beef with just the right amount of seasoning, is a standout. The patty, thick and succulent, is cooked to perfection, retaining all its flavors and juices. The burger buns are soft yet sturdy, absorbing the juices and sauces without getting soggy. The balance of flavors is impeccable, with each ingredient complementing the other without overpowering. The garlic fries are a revelation in themselves. Crispy on the outside and fluffy inside, these fries are seasoned with just the right amount of garlic – not too overpowering but enough to leave a lasting impression. They are the perfect accompaniment to the burger, adding a different texture and flavor profile that elevates the entire meal. For those who enjoy unwinding on a lazy Sunday, perhaps after indulging in some recreational activities, Patty n Bun offers the perfect solution for post-smoke cravings. The rich, satisfying flavors of their food provide a comforting and fulfilling experience, making it an ideal choice for such occasions. The quality of the food at Patty n Bun is, simply put, unbelievable. Claiming that their burgers are the best in Europe might sound like an exaggeration, but once tasted, it's a statement hard to dispute. The burgers are a symphony of flavors, expertly crafted and presented. The meat is always fresh, the vegetables crisp, and the sauces homemade, adding layers of flavor that make each bite a delight. In addition to the burgers and fries, Patty n Bun’s spicy wings are another must-try. These wings are a perfect blend of spicy and savory, with a heat that builds up but doesn't overwhelm. The skin is crispy, and the meat inside is tender and juicy. The wings are a testament to the culinary expertise of Patty n Bun, showcasing their ability to excel across different types of dishes. In summary, Patty n Bun is not just a burger joint; it's a culinary destination. From the Hangover Burger to the garlic fries and the spicy wings, every item on the menu is crafted with care and precision, resulting in flavors that are both complex and comforting. It's a place that not only satisfies your hunger but also provides a memorable dining experience, making it a must-visit for anyone in the Netherlands looking for exceptional food. It is so good that I once cried while eating it.

What a cute hamburger joint tucked into an unassuming alley way! I am very happy to have discovered this restaurant. Seating is limited and burgers are made to order in plain sight. The burger selection is delicious! Definitely, USA style steakhouse burger patty - yummy. Onion rings and fries are crispy and make for very good friends with whichever burger (beef, pork, chicken, or veggie) you choose.

Great in-between a street food type and concept restaurant. You order and pick up the food from the counter. Very clean and nice atmosphere. Burger+Fries is 15-25 euros. Non-alcoholic drinks only.

Great burger 🍔 and amazing fries 🍟. This place definitely one of the best for the quality burger and fries. Favorite in the Netherlands for me so far. Tried “The Hangover” burger and all the ingredients were of the best quality. Meat quality is great, crispy bacon, tasty bun. Fries are crispy from outside and soft inside. Definitely exceed expectations. Came 30 mins before the restaurant closing time and they let us stay for almost another 30 mins after they already closed. Very friendly and polite! Thanks for the great service and quality of food!

A tiny place that offers good burgers with fries. There’s no service: you order and then collect when the device they give you starts to ring. I like the concept, it’s perfect for a quick meal. The place, however, it’s pretty small so you may not find a place to sit. Prices are okay, portions’ size as well. In terms of food, the classic burger menu was tasty, but nothing special. Overall, for a quick meal it’s a good choice, but if you want to have a proper one, you might want to find something less casual.

I was expecting a better taste for the meat but overall its OK, I tiny bit overpriced bcs you pay everything separately and there's no waiter you do it yourself. On the pics you can see the garlic fries and the burger I don't remember 😋 The place is a little small

Very nice burgers and variate flavors to try. The buns are fresh and tasty. The drinks options is non alcoholic only. The flavors of the ingredients are very tasty. The size is quite ok, maybe could be a bit larger.

Trust worthy burger makers 👌 4th times here and we will continue to come from Liège! Garlic fries is a must! Artisanal burgers. Fritz cola better than Coke. The owners are super warm

Amazing burgers. A little expensive, prices go upwards from 9€ but if you want a delicious burger with all sorts of additions like cheesy fries or such then you're at the right place, also the menu is in English so no problem if you're not a local. The people in there are really nice and it played some good old-school hip hop. Loved the stay definitely gonna visit again when I have the chance!

I don't understand why burger places charge for sauces?! So annoying. They wouldn't even put my burger sauce on the side. They said they will charge for that. Burgers were not very good. Also was overpriced.

Always have had a positive experience here. The best chicken tenders in Maastricht and the chips are awesome - especially the garlic ones. The burgers are alright, I rather fancy the side dishes. Will order again!

Great food! Best vegetarian burger I’ve had. The beetroot patty is delicious - recommended even for non-vegetarians.

I liked the aesthetics, but the chairs were uncomfortable. The staff was friendly. I really liked the burger and the garlic fries, but I did not like the milkshakes.
