Probably the best restaurant that I have ever been to in my life. Kindness, amazing food presentation, amazing food, decorations, music...just all perfect! I'll go back for sure!!! Picture: full tahina in the middle, babaganoush in the left of it. On the other side of the table hummus and falafel.

We came for lunch on a Sunday, a few available tables left around 1:45. We ordered 3 spreads to share, 1 parmigiana, 1 lamb and one octopus. For dessert figs in wine sauce and yoghurt with fruits and almonds. The service was fast and attentive. The food was good. The only downside is that the octopus plate was really small portion. I would definitely come back, it was great atmosphere and perfect spot for a lazy summer lunch.

We had a beautiful dinner in the wonderful Marres Kitchen garden. We had the Parmigiana di Melanzane and Muhamarah to share as a first course. We then had the Fettuccine ai Funghi and Kharuf. Couldn’t fault a thing. Finished off with the homemade lemon curd, but always forget to take a photo of the desert. The waiters were fantastic and we felt very welcome. Would come again and highly recommend!! Only suggestion, they need to accept Visa/Mastercard and keep the outdoor fires going. Keep up the great work!!!

I really like the interior, good atmosphere inside, great staff, reasonable pricing: Mediterranean, oriental influenced dishes. The menu is not too big and is divided in Mezze startes (many veg choices including grilled vegetables, hummus, falafel... served with bread fresh from the oven), mains (pasta with mushroom/ mussles, fish, Libanese flavored lamb and duck thigh) and deserts (tartes etc.). Everything was delecious, only wish there came more sauce with the duck. Anyway, recommended

Yesterday we had dinner at Marres in their cozy green garden. We had the "falafel" and "melanzane alla parmigiana" to share as a first course. Afterwards my partner had the "pasta vongole" and I had the "pasta pesto". It was simply sublime. You could taste the fresh ingredients. WOW! Free water with mint and lemon was served. The homemade lemonade was also very refreshing and nice. The waiters were both super friendly, we felt so welcome here. Thank you so much for making us forget about this crazy world we sometimes seem to live in and slow down for a little while. Keep up the good work, you are an amazing team. Lots of love from Belgium

I fell in love with everything about this place! Incredible backyard and atmosphere, lovely servers and great food. The Marres Culture Center is also a must-see when you’re there.

Recently I had a brunch/lunch experience at the restaurant and I was very satisfied. The falafels they serve are hands down one of the best I have ever tried. The flavors are rich and authentic, making for a delightful adventure. The restaurant provided the perfect setting for a reunion with friends I hadn't seen in a long time. The sunny summer Sunday added to the joyful atmosphere. We opted for a variety of mezze plates and a delicious lentil soup. Each dish was fresh and tasty. The location is in the same building as the culture center, thus you can have a little tour after lunch, making our visit a complete experience. While I can't speak for winter vibes, I can say that during summer, this place is an excellent choice. Exceptional food, friendly atmosphere, nearby exhibition and garden.

We are so lucky we found this diamond during our short visit in Maastricht. Food was very tasty and service was awesome. It’s hard to pick only one favorite dish. Definitely coming back when we visit again

Definetely one of the best place in town. The service in over the top. Once you go in, they will ask for your coat and they will store it safely for you. I love it. Food, service and atmosphere is amazing. Not cheap but worth every penny

Food is great, felafel, khrouf and all the dishes they have. The music is not too loud so you can easily hold conversations and have quality time.

Delicious food! Starters are definitely the highlight of this beautiful hidden garden. Everything was tasty, well seasoned and authentic. Their homemade focaccia inspired bread is a great company to everything that is settled on the table. Mains are good as well, but you only have 5 dishes to choose from, so it's definitely not for picky eaters. Everything is well made and aligned with the claimed Middle Eastern and Italian influences. However there's a lack of flavour depth in what we had. Spaghetti alle Vongole was very generous on clams, but pasta was overcooked and sauce a bit blend. Lamb was scrupuciously tender, but dry fruits and nuts were a 2nd thought and not used to enrich the sauce. Service is very nice, although a bit slow. We had a lovely Summer evening and the location itself makes it worth visiting. A must try in Maastricht, especially for the starters.

Absolutely beautiful location and excellent food. This is a take your time kind of place. Do not plan to rush. We got a pitcher of lemonade for the table and I highly recommend. Very nice gluten free options.

A hidden gem – wonderful food, equally special location! The perfect garden restaurant to sit in summer and completely forget you're in a city. If the weather doesn't allow, the indoors is cute too. The eggplant dip is a must.

Beautiful cosy environmental spot next to the Center. Small menu but the dishes are freshly made you can understand and very tasty. Would go again soon!!!

Very delicious food and incredibly kind service. There was a small administrative mistake with reservations, but this was solved immediately and we were warmly accommodated to. Many thanks to the waitresses for the enjoyable experience and my compliments to the chef(s)!

I came here for dinner with my friend and we had such a lovely evening. The restaurant has a really nice cosy feeling to it. We were sat by the window it was really cute. And the food ahhhh! It was so nice. The sharing platter was👌👌 Also the staff were super lovey and sweet and attentive. Thanks for a nice night :)

Very pretty location. We booked for lunch but we were not able to eat anything other than appetisers as the kitchen was preparing for dinner service. It would have been nice if they told us this when we made our reservation. Very disappointed in the service at the restaurant as well. The waitress was very cheeky and standoffish. We never felt at all welcome despite looking forward to our second visit....I first was on a previous weekend getaway to Maastricht.
